African Fat-Tailed Gecko (Hemitheconyx caudicinctus): These geckos store fat in their tails, which they use for energy when food is scarce.

Vietnamese Mossy Frog (Theloderma corticale): These frogs are masters of camouflage thanks to their moss-like appearance.

Sacabambaspis is an extinct genus of jawless fish that lived in shallow waters and likely relied on suction feeding to catch prey.

Endoceras is an extinct genus of cephalopods that made their home on the sea floor. Estimates put their length at over 18 feet!

Had a preemie, hes tiny even for a baby gecko. He was super lethargic at first and I thought he was dead, but i went to pick him up and hes got some spice! Mouth open and bitey which is an awesome sign. I managed to get him to eat a cricket(normally their first shed is their first meal, but he was so weak i wanted him to have the extra calories), hoping he makes it through the night 💓

Rottmnt Mondo Gecko (GDD) concept I forgot to post. Concepts include him being a Yokai working under Big Mama. And being Repo Mantis’s nephew that also got mutated.

Jumbled thoughts include:

Mondo finding Mikey in the Hidden City/NY alleyway, jumping down from his perch on a roof. And making friends with Mikey after my Rewrite of “Mikey Toys Around” (the episode where Mikey befriends a Mouser). But he has ill intentions despite his friendly attitude.

Mikey, wanting a REAL friend, goes along with his antics, and just thinks Mondo is SO COOL. With his chill yet biker attitude. “It’s Mondo-Zilla Yo!” He likes to call himself, his “friends” too. But others in the Hidden City like to call him “Mondo Gecko”. Mondo possibly having a “Ring” of sorts in the Hidden City. (Something something crime.)

And I also imagined we see Mondo helping Repo move some boxes of parts. Repo egging Mondo on about attacking the turtles for “stealing” from him, Mondo frowning— because he’s actually a good guy inside— and is also starting to like Mikey.

Mikey: “Ah nah, I already learned this lesson.” (With the mouser) wants to make sure it doesn’t end badly this time.

(Also thought it’d be funny that if he was a mutated human first, his name would’ve been Miles- pfft!)

(I have like 2 concept characters I want to sketch off more before showing them off.)

I love middle aged Benny headcanons but it think it is marginally funnier if Benny is mid 20s for 3 reasons:

Him at 17/18 taking over the Boot Riders and getting that god awful suit that he doesn’t event fill out yet (like it just started fitting as of the game)

His brain not being fully developed which does not help his canon INT stat of 3

You’re not my dad conversations between him and House that are supposed to be business oriented but Benny is getting pseudo grounded.

Also being a manlet and young is so funny seeing as he runs a casino and I bet he gets asked where his parents are by the other casinos as bullying cause he’s got chronic baby face.

Saw @modmad’s starter pokemon prompt, and wanted to give it a try! Geckos were always getting in the house as a kid, so one was bound to stick around sooner or later. As for cursola, I used to love picking up interesting looking pieces of coral from the beach—who’s to say one wouldn’t have been more than it seemed?

Update on the preemie: He made it through the night! ❤️ I put the incubating tote in a slightly warmer area of the house for the night, and it looks like it helped! Hes not quite sure how to use his legs and feet properly yet, but his chances to survive increased by a lot by making it through the night! Ive also nicknamed him Tiny Tim 😂

Meet my new tiny dragon, Sunburst☀️

I got this handsome little fella from @kaijucresteds this past Saturday while attending my first All American Reptile & Plant Expo in Charlotte, NC. His lovely "creamsicle" coloring caught my eye, and so I just couldn't leave without him! His hatch date is April 3rd, 2024, making him a little over a year old currently.

His name was inspired by the beautiful golden dragon from HOTD, Sunfyre (with a little twist)~🔆🔥🐲

I love my pretty new scaly son! 🥰🦎
