It's a spicy Old Fashioned Wednesday with our newest concoction, "the Rebel Mule." After our last reimagining of another cocktail into an old fashioned (Old and Sassy, a rum and coke old fashioned), we decided to try our hand at the classic Moscow Mule. Rebel Yell ginger whiskey replaces the plain and, frankly, boring vodka and ginger beer with its sweet and spicy blend, and two kinds of bitters; Fee Brothers lemon and Hella bitters citrus, emulate the lime juice. Sandwich a big ass cherry between 2 pieces of candied ginger and you've got yourself a slow sippin', spicy-sweet concoction that doesn't need no copper mug.
