Morning everyone, just a quick post giving you a little trick on the S8. If you have experienced this it will drive you crazy to the point of sheer frustration. My Wifeidge loves her makeup and therefore with this comes a ton of selfies 🤳. Today Sara comes in to me in lounge an says HELP, HELP my camera is not working it's gone blurry!! I admit at first I had no idea untill I came across a bit of info from a fellow geek like myself. Now they say sharing is caring so here I am passing on to you. As you are all aware the Samsung phones like slot of others have image stabilization on the camera, well at times it seems that the sensor ois gets stuck leaving you with a blurry picture not good for a selfie queen like my Wifeidge Sara🤣🤣😂 The quick fix an believe me don't laugh it works a charm is this. Launch the camera app; - Tap on the gear icon shown on the screen either top right of the lower left an access the camera settings. -Identify the option marked as Picture Stabilization. -Simply turn that option off. WAIT YOU ARE NOT DONE YET! Next is the important bit you hold phone in hand an give it a shake from side to side! That's right you read correctly just give it a shake an hey presto camera works like a charm 😄😅 Feel free to go back to settings an turn back on Picture Stabilization if you so wish. Sometimes it's a simple thing pass this on as who knows one day you may need it.
