definitely agree with the things youre saying! i think with the “issue” of the physical appearance of people truly isnt whether if a person is dark-skinned and muscular that is the problem, or why a short person should be submissive or whatnot, and if you do portray things that way thats fine. however, if you portray it in a way where it feels almost… fetishizing, instead of just treating it like “oh yeah this is a trait and not the characters entirety” Then it becomes a problem. its also definitely not marauders fandom centric, tho i do see it a lot here at times.

maybe the solution to all of this is to be normal and chill about things like race and sexuality and gender, but unfortunately that is apparently very hard for greater fandom spaces to do. tho im not saying everyone in the fandom space does this, and im not saying that indulgence or tropey nonsense is bad as long as it doesnt hurt anyone, but quite unfortunately the foundations of fandom Are built by white women and that ideology carries throughout the whole space. its just something people have to keep and mind and reflect on every once in a while.

anyway all in all definitely agree with your takes on the greater issue, even if i may disagree with some of your opinions on characters or stuff. i think generally people should have fun with their fanon little world (or canon little world if thats what they want more), but like people should just be more sensitive with material theyre handling as well as how they portray it. tldr please be normal about the marginalized is the best way to put everything LMAO

Hello! This is Admin Bi☀ here to kinda.. apologize? Well no question mark, just full apologize because I feel like the last month or so I’ve been not doing well on terms of updates and photos and don’t even remind me about that events page it gives me anxiety just thinking about it haha! I feel bad knowing that I keep putting the blog off on certain things due to there being so much going on including additions to my family and other very very bad things with close family members and us being forced into difficult situations especially me who has responsibilities to both my family and to this blog. This blog is based on a human being that exists 14 hours ahead of me haha so it gets a little difficult being awake at 3-7am while waking up at 11 for a child and then staying up to take care of a dog that needs significant more care than any average dog (I just don’t get it tbh haha) so I just want to apologize for that. This is in no way me saying IM QUITTING IM DONE or even a hiatus I just wanted to tell you guys that for the next few weeks maybe more it’ll be a little difficult. With the addition of 2 members to this team I still even felt the need to continue to take upon more of the work because I’m.. insane but I’ll work hard to be a better Head-Admin here and this message might seem dumb and unnecessary due to all the love and support you all give the blog and to me and I know so many of you will be like ITS OKAY ITS FINE DONT WORRY but this blog in itself saved my life back in September 2015 and me not giving it my all doesn’t feel right. So thank you to everyone who’s ever given us love and support and we promise to be better.
