fellas- animatic to "Placing the Blame" featuring Alex saying the "Are you man enough, to take the blame for this?" to Jay, Brian, and Tim respectively, only for the ending of it to be Alex looking at himself in his reflection as he bleeds out after getting stabbed to that same line

anyway ill be back in 5 years when ive gotten myself some animation skills

#marble hornets #this suddenly came to me #if i do this i probs wouldnt make it the whole song #but it made me think of how much of Alex's motives revolved around the idea that he was giving his friends the mercy of death #of getting rid of the demon by getting rid of everyone infected #and the blame would start with Jay who kept the tapes and looked through them and restarted the issues #to Brian/Hoodie for egging Jay on and continuing to hunt down Alex #and finally to Tim because Alex sees him as the root of it all- as patient zero #and of course at the very very end would be him doubting his own motivations and wondering if things could have gone different #if he decided to work with his friends and tell them what was happening #if the others would still be alive if he'd made a different choice
