if I may ask, how exactly did goopy get masked?

also side note that I feel a little bit weird about sending because I'm nervous about overstepping but future by jack stauber seems very goopycore to me..

rubbing my vile little hands together OKAY!! so I planned on writing literally everything pre-mask down in like one neat little story but I haven't exactly. finished yet. I will try to be brief :3

After many weeks of all the slaving away and group bonding slash therapy slash imminent death scenarios, eventually Goopy and co didn't meet their quota on time. none of them actually know for certain what happens (only rumor that it's bad) so when the sirens start blaring out in space after leaving Gordion, the first thing on the captain's mind is something along the lines of, "they're going to send people out to execute us" or whatever. so, they make a very panic-fueled decision to quickly try and re-route the ship to the most habitable (???) place they can think of, either March or Vow, in an (again, panicked) attempt to evade these "executioners". probably March. anyway, well, the ship does behave as normal, but it doesn't exactly stop the company's disciplinary procedures. mid transit, they all still get that very rude awakening when they're forcefully ejected from the ship, and, at least for Goopy, the shock of it all has him out cold within the first like, ten seconds, only really catching a glimpse of all of his found family quickly turning to specks in the void, and a nearby, quickly-approaching celestial body.. Anyway :] you know how objects in motion in space don't really... slow down? or stop? ever? Goopy's unconscious body is just free floating right towards this thing. it doesnt take long for him to just enter the atmosphere, barreling down into a blistering-cold hell and slamming into a mountain of fresh snow. fucking everything in this boy's body may as well be broken, but he's not dead!! miraculously!!! Eventually he wakes up of course, and holy fuck the pain is almost immediate. he's hurt, scared, confused, and cold as all hell, and unable to move an inch with anything he owns. so he does the last thing he can think of, and that's just to weakly cry out names in hopes that any of his buddies he's come to cherish will hear him and rescue him somehow. but. unfortunately, it only seemed to attract unwanted attention...

EDIT: I FORGOT ABOUT THE SECOND PART OF THIS ASK nonono not at all not overstepping even a little bit I think it's awesome that ppl make connections with my fellas with other stuff!! 🥺🥺🥺🥺 I did watch it before typing this all out (probably why I forgot) and I definitely see where you're coming from YEEE 🤝🤝 GOOD angst good drama!!!!!!
