i think its just an internet issue bc its happened for years ive seen in the most absurd ways where people act like if two characters hurt each other that must mean one of them is the good person and the other is Evil and Bad. which feels especially absurd in a game emphasizing how both tlq and tsm are entities meant to coexist with one another

not to get controversial but i am an adamant believer that neither tsm and tlq are bad and that while their actions can both get pretty fucked up, theyre both reacting frankly the best way that they know how given the horrible situation theyve been forced into...

#outside of this game i hate saying like middle of the road shit #but a lot of the game revolves around like. equilibrium #and is about the two of them being complex beings that are both capable of being beautiful and frightening #to strip one or the other of either aspect of themself feels inaccurate and frankly ignores so much of their writing...#idk if im making much sense atp but like #i just feel like stp did a stunning job at making so many realistic characters who have flaws and yet are still wonderful #and BECAUSE of those flaws are still wonderful #which is funny considering none of the characters are human #even the narrator is only an echo #but the pt being that i think the characters are allowed to be a bit fucked up without it being some like...#deep rooted problem with their very existence
