An au in which Eva wasn't home at the time of Damon's "attack", instead her twin brother, Ezra, was. He gets turned by Damon however due to the vervain lacing his blood that he was born with (like Eva) his body has somewhat of a negative reaction to the transition, which causes him to only become part vampire: a human/vampire hybrid.
