I really do miss Roxy, Roxy is such an affectionate, clingy cat, she was obsessed with me and we built up such a strong bond and sense of trust. It's been a while since I saw her, so hopefully I can see her again some time soon

But I do feel fortunate to have Ember now, as yeah, Ember is like Roxy, funny they're both torties. Ember is such a clingy, affectionate, lovey cat. She makes the funniest noises all the time, like she's always making noises, she purrs like crazy, like Roxy she can be a dribbler. But one thing Ember does that Roxy never did, when Ember is feeling particularly lovey and affectionate and enjoying my attention, her tail goes all boofie, that's my sign she's feeling extra lovey

Some other weird Ember quirks I like are, her tongue is usually always slightly poking out, she goes feral sometimes and makes demonic, deep gutteral noises while she's running around wild. She has really specific routines and really specific spots she likes to go to, she will look at my back while screaming to let me know she wants back rides. Ever since I got her as a tiny kitten she's been obsessed with loose metal, to the point it's scary/frustrating, she copies whatever her sister does, like she'll never lay anywhere unless Coraline lays there first, also she has an innate desire to eradicate anything that flies, I've never known a cat to detest levitation as much as she does

She's one of the dumbest animals I've ever known, she is quite stupid. But in place of smarts, she is just full of love, and I love her for that, she rarely causes trouble because she doesn't have the capacity to think, but it just makes her extra loving and extra affectionate, it's quite a good trade off. One time when I had a repair man over, she was rolling all around his feet, making noises, rubbing up him, just doing anything to get his attention, I think she'd love having more people around, sometimes I feel bad she only has me. She likes belly strokes too, her belly isn't a trap, it's so fluffy so I love that she lets you touch it
