i haven't posted these or any of the other drawings in the Collection to tumblr but here's a few drawings i made earlier this month

meet the blorbos in my head, or the "toybox" as i'm tagging it here. something awful happened and they're all dealing with it differently, but otherwise they're an unstoppable team!

Roximo is a young boy who rose from the ashes of an old world. As it turns out, he was next to be gifted Kirby's superpowers, and they manifested a little differently in him. He doesn't know much about the world that was left behind or the people in it, so he's pretty neutral about the whole thing; he's just concerned with eating, napping, and helping people out where he can! There's a lot about himself that he doesn't know, and he'll figure it out in due time, whether he wants to or not.

Breanne Dee, better known as Bandana Waddle Dee or simply Bandee is the faithful right-hand man to many people, most notably King Dedede. His job is to keep the peace and keep the people he's taking care of out of trouble. He's seen Dream Land rise to power, and he's fought against unspeakable horrors, but when the horrors won, Bandee fell into despair. He became really sad, and tries to keep with his old job-- as well as drown his sadness in apple juice (or something stronger).

Adeleine Kurieita (her friends call her Ado) was a young girl who grew disillusioned with Earth and ran away to Planet Popstar following an adventure with Kirby. She settled into the alien planet and was content to live in peace, until darknesses overtook both Popstar and Earth, leaving her bitter and angry at her predicament. She's a lot crankier and snappier than before, but maybe the old Adeleine will shine through once more.

King Dedede is a boisterous, arrogant old man and the self-made king of Dream Land. He had a past life, but he fails to remember it and only knows of his time as the protector of the Waddle Dees and ruler of "the land of plenty." He's flip-flopped between being a penguin and being a human several times. He got along well with almost everyone he knew, and was content to sit in a position of power, until darkness consumed his kingdom. Despite this, he puts on a smile and tries to stay happy-- if nothing else, to help his subjects stay happy, too.

feels odd for the first piece on the sideblog to be a holiday special, but tbh the holidays are the only time i'm guaranteed to make art
