American socialite Babe Paley, famous as the leader of New York High Society in the 40’s - 50’s

Truman Capote, her personal friend, once said that “Paley’s only imperfection was that she was perfect”.

She was a style icon, worked as a fashion editor for Vogue Magazine. Babe was named to the best-dressed list in 1945 and 1946.

Si la serie og l'hanno vista, hanno visto che gli omosessuali erano praticamente protagonisti e hanno deciso di fare come gli pareva, mettendo gli etero in primo piano e i gay come contentino senza provare davvero a creare una storia sensata, tanto basta mettere Simone che è canonicamente gay e apposto no?

Purtroppo avevano la possibilità di fare un buon prodotto ma secondo me ci sono state magagne sotto che hanno portato a tutto ciò. È evidente che non ci sia cura nella sceneggiatura, ci sono buchi nella trama grossi come una casa e personaggi scritti a caso senza preoccuparsi minimamente della percezione del pubblico. C'è chi grida al complottismo e dice che le cose sono state cambiate in corsa ma non penso sia così (che ci crediate o no le serie non si girano in ordine cronologico e cambiare le cose in corsa non è proprio facile come sembra), a me pare soltanto che non ci guadagnino granché da sta serie quindi gliene fotte proprio poco
