What makes each cat “unadoptable”?

Rodimus: Hyperactive with mild Wobbly Cat Syndrome. Can’t be unsupervised in a kitchen or a non-padded environment. He is extremely hyperactive and gets depressed when he doesn’t get attention from people or the other cats.

Drift: Has a furniture scratching problem and likes to try to escape. Doesn’t like to be separated from Rodimus or Ratchet. Afraid of thunderstorms.

Ratchet: as a visibly older cat, he is already tough to adopt out. He needs several different medicines that are taken at mealtimes.

Ultra Magnus: A big boy, and he’s not outwardly affectionate towards humans. He seemingly obsesses over grooming himself and the other cats.

Megatron: doesn’t like humans. However, a few months at the shelter, he begins to soften up towards Rung and Ravage. Regardless, his hostility scares off any potential adopters. Afraid of thunderstorms and doctors.

Tailgate: he is small and friendly, but most adopters back off once they find out how old he is. Any remaining potential adopters decline once they find out he’s bonded to Cyclonus.

Cyclonus: Has the worst scratching problem out of all the cats, no furniture is safe, nor the pant legs of any potential adopters. Also frequently seen fighting the goose through the window.

First Aid: Needs medicine and is nice about taking it, but tends to hide away under furniture when new people arrive.

Red Alert: An extremely nervous cat, he runs and hides when new people arrive and doesn’t come out for hours afterwards. He also needs medicine to manage his anxiety.

Fort Max: The largest cat in the shelter, he’s shy around new people. He’ll try to sit in people’s laps and accidentally suffocate them. The amount of food he needs turns most adopters away. Afraid of thunderstorms and large/loud people.

Skids: Bites people.

Nautica: Drops her wrench on people’s toes. Also bites people.

Velocity: She’s actually fine she’s just grouped in with the rest of these weirdos. Cannot tolerate men.

Swerve: meows so often and loudly that it turns people off from adopting him. Also has a terminal catnip addiction.

Rewind: Stares at people so hard it makes them uncomfortable

Chromedome: Also stares. It makes people uncomfy when two cats are staring at them like they’re an omen of death.

Perceptor: Cannot be unsupervised in a kitchen. Also bonded with Brainstorm.

Brainstorm: Cannot be unsupervised near anything sharp. Tends to get random destructive fits of energy that can last for up to an hour. Tends to start fires.

Honorable mentions + notes about the other characters:

Whirl: The goose that lives in the parking lot. He cannot fly but that doesn’t stop him from attacking anyone that comes near his nest, which happens to be right next to the front door. He serves as a vibe check for potential adopters and keeps Rung humbled.

Ravage: An emo that needs community hours to graduate. They accidentally became attached.

Rung: Specializes in cat behavior and care, and is careful about accomodating each cat’s needs. Every time he tries to make the cat rooms nice for visitors, the cats destroy it in minutes.

Thunderclash: the shelter’s number one funder and general nice guy. All the cats love/tolerate him except for Rodimus, who attacks him at any given opportunity.

*crawls out of the bear den* I'm awake! Oh, my God, I missed so much. Well, without further ado: The post that inspired me to do this mini project. Author AU - @keferon. TileMap - combines three mechanics I added, + one bonus.

Mutual_help

Swerve and Blurr are now able to pick each other up and carry each other. When Swerve picks up Blurr, his jump height is reduced. When Blurr picks up Swerve, his speed is reduced and he can only swim left to right, as he has to swim carefully (Swerve can neither breathe underwater nor swim)

Also made it so that when one character lets go of the other one, Swerve is lowered to the nearest ground and Blurr into the nearest water. P. S. At the moment only Swerve is ready to solve puzzles. Blurr, on the other hand, is useless for that for now. I plan to add the ability to move objects underwater, but I'm still thinking about it. I don't really support Blurr in a backpack, although I realise it makes sense. I feel sorry for Blurr and the backpack.

Так же сделано так, чтобы, когда один персонаж отпускает другого, Swerve опускали на ближайшую землю, а Блёрр в ближайшую воду. P. S. На данный момент только Сверв готов решать головоломки. Блёрр же пока бесполезен для этого. Я планирую добавить ему возможности перемещать предметы под водой, но пока думаю ещё. Я не особо поддерживаю Blurr в рюкзаке, хотя понимаю, что это логично. Мне жалко Блёрра и рюкзак.

!Swerve in water!

I've known people in my life who couldn't swim, but could still doggy swim. So why can't Swerve do that, especially when his life depends on it? There is currently no time limit, so Swerve can stay in the water for at least the rest of his life. However, I plan to add HP, and with it, sham damage that will accumulate while Swerve is in the water. And when it is equal to or greater than the current HP, Swerve will drown. Game over. Consider this a game convention. In reality, of course, Blurr still has a chance to save him.

He is currently sprite-less and animation-less. He can start chasing the player and, depending on what surface he is on, his speed, and the direction he can go, changes.

Also, if an enemy is chasing Swerve and falls into the water, it will, temporarily, teleport closer to Swerve. In the future I will make it smoother to move up to Swerve. But for now, this is how it is for now

His name is Zephyr ✨- [and this is the most solid reference I’ve got of him,, see inconsistent references below <33]

And now??? Introducing a passionate rant about the big brother esc goofball no one has seen yet

Essentially, what I’ve got going so far is Zephyr used to be a renowned competitive racer before the war back on Cybertron, he lived for the tracks and often received citations for speed racing through civilian streets. That was until his street friend caught wind of a race academy located somewhere near Iacon where they could both learn how to compete professionally

They both entered and on their first official race someone ended up wiping out, bad, so Zeph dropped back to help em out and they gained a third friend that day

As a young upstart Zephyr began gaining some crazy popularity, blissfully [intentionally??] ignorant of the state of the government. [kinda the same mentality as the phrase, “If I can’t see it? Then it doesn’t exist ✨”]. That is, until one day he wiped out on the track, even worse than was considered possible at the time, and he got sent into a coma before the war officially started.

During his time in stasis, Zeph’s friends had a huge argument about the morality of the war and ended up choosing different sides of the fight before they could reconcile. Only one of them openly appeared to hold onto the hope that Zephyr was going to recover [though they both secretly visited after their fight anyways] His first friend later decided that the hospital, the stasis that would never end, the loss of both his friends, was too much for him and he effectively ejected Zephyr from the hospital as an act of mercy, so fate might deal with him as it pleased.

Zephyr woke up from stasis years later after the pod he was being housed in got blown up and some dormant fear based adrenaline kicked in.

What began as a blissfully ignorant coping skill, after running into some friendly [neutral] wanderers, Zeph continued his race training,, determined to compete the second the war essentially “fixed itself” [even tho his engines haven’t been running quite right ever since his wake from stasis] but over time, he trained less and less as the inpermanence of his dream began to set in

He had some misadventures and those lead me to where he is now,, stuck in a war, no idea what’s going on, trying to find his two original friends, both of whom he doesn’t know hate each other 😌🫶

[and once he does- he founds a secret faction, dedicated to drawing neutral territory between bots and cons after he got his friends back together/ and everything was good for a bit until one very bad day, his faction got exposed and practically everyone he had instilled hope into got ripped to shreds- [including one of his friends[they died]]]

He wanders around kinda aimlessly nowadays as a husk of who he once wanted to be. His only friend rejoined the Autobots. -And he gave up any hope for peace ever :D👍

ok but consider: starop that starts off as an arranged political marriage, but then they discover that they actually like each other more than they anticipated

their conjunxing was arranged to forge an alliance between iacon and vos. originally, starscream and optimus merely tolerated each other's presence, but as time went on, they realized that while they may not have much in common, they complement each other quite well. starscream doesn't look up to optimus like a devotee, but meets him at eye level like an equal. while some may blame starscream's audacity and say he needs to be put in his place, optimus likes having someone who sees him for him and not his title. likewise, optimus takes the time to develop an honest interest in everything starscream finds fascinating, even indulging in them. starscream had to leave his love of science behind when entering politics, but then here comes optimus, willing to spoil him with a fancy new lab so he can be happy and comfortable away from vos.

eventually, a genuine romance does form, and the iaconian government is wondering how the hell that happened. megatron especially thought they'd kill each other. now, they're thinking of renewing their vows.

it leads to optimus saying things like

"you know what, starscream? i think i'd like to marry you."

"optimus, my darling, we are married."

"...right."
