I've been thinking about how, when someone calls something small, maybe a french fry or bean sprout... Another person might joke, "it's not THAT small now!"

However,

What if, MC was training with Silver for the first time, trying to lift up their training sword which is still decently sized. It's a sword, after all. They say, "Wow, this is way larger than I thought!" to which Silver bluntly replies with, "It's not that large, now." in the most flat tone... With the most deadpan face. MC just stares back with wide eyes. Silver doesn't get it.

Omg I forgot the tale was written by Charles Perrault... somehow I thought it happened in germany because the disney castle was inspired by the Neuschwanstein castle :') I could see them having learned french since Malleus is royalty and it must be important to communicate with other nobles, protocol stuff etc etc... In my mind Lilia can speak french but it's absolutely outdated, Malleus and Silver could absolutely nail it, but somehow imagining Sebek speak french is ?? kinda cursed ?? He'd try but it would sound like the poor guy got cursed and it'd worry the others immediately. "Sebek contracted french, get well soon 😔🙏"

Starting off the new year with I think the most background heavy piece I've ever made! I think Rainwings and Nightwings would celebrate their traditional holidays together after the events of The brightest night. So this drawing is meant to show their cultures kind of blending together during a very joyful time. I remember talking about this concept with someone on tumblr a year ago but when I went back through my posts I couldn't for the life of me find it - so if your reading this, I remember you and this drawing stems from that conversation so thank you!

In high-level sports, emotions are experienced to their maximum, for better or for worse. We are constantly pushing our body to the limit. Today, I feel that I am in my best form; during training I feel stronger than ever. 

Unfortunately, things didn’t go according to plan. I am not going to deny that getting the result from the day hasn’t been easy, especially for the level of athleticism and capability that I know I have. I had put all my heart into preparation. But today wasn’t the day.

I know that this is not the end, and that after situations like this, there is always something to learn. I am a believer that, when we need to learn something, life is in charge of putting us in situations that will prepare us for what is to come, no matter how hard it is. I know that I have a great team and a lot of people that follow and support me, for this I will continue to prepare, I will give the best that I can and I will fight until the end, because I know my potential, of how strong and how prepared I am for what is to come.

Heya, thank you so much for the kind words! Fairly simple answer here, I use the same software for both- I work in Clip Studio Paint. I DO have asesprite and I really want to learn how to use it, mainly for patterning/tiling in pixelart. But currently all I use is CSP. It's served me well!

Pixel art can be done in basically any program that has a pixel brush luckily. But ye this is my usual setup! The one upside of working in CSP is that I can do my regular non pixel art concept sketches right there on the other side of the canvas in cases where i feel i need to haha

Charlie Kelly from Always Sunny is my favorite representation of dyslexia in anything ever. Specifically because everyone's frustration when his dyslexia gets in their way feels very true to my frustration when my dyslexia gets in my way. I like watching people get mad at dyslexia lol
