Hello! Hidden Blade is available to stream on several Chinese apps, the ones that I've heard international fans have success with are Youku (优酷) and Tencent (腾讯). You will have to use a VPN program in order to bypass the region restrictions. Either Transocks or 快帆 are reliable VPNs, and both programs have mobile and desktop versions. You will also need to set up either an Alipay or WeChat account in order to pay.

Once you've connected to the VPN, open up the streaming platform of choice. (If you have issues finding the .apk to download feel free to message me, otherwise I believe you should still be able to go through the website.) I'll use Youku as an example since that's what I have:

Once you've opened Youku, type "无名电影" into the search bar, and select the option that comes up. In the video above I've already purchased my copy so it shows the movie right away. When you first open it though, it will prompt you to purchase a viewing ticket (6 yuan for VIP members, 12 yuan for non-VIP I believe, valid for 7 days). You may use either Alipay or WeChat Pay to pay, and I believe both of these options allow you to connect an international credit card, which Youku will accept.

If you have questions about any of the above steps please feel free to message me with screenshots, as it's been a while since I set up my account so I don't remember all the details needed.

how to purchase yibo’s new single ‘我的世界守则 (the rules of my world)’ on netease 

hello! this is my tutorial on how to purchase yibo’s upcoming single which is only available on netease

there are three methods:

paying through apple id (apparently ios takes 30% so only 70% goes to the single)

paying through wechat pay (possible way to bypass ios taking 30%)

purchase the single through fan supports here (compiled by @lonelynanhai​)

payment through apple id

1. search for the ‘netease music’ app on the app store 

here is a quick tutorial  on how to change your region 

for your address/phone no. you can simply put your current address and number but just choose a province in china and use a 6 digit post code 

2. download the ‘transocks’ app 

transocks is a vpn app - you’ll need vpn in order to purchase the single 

3. adding funds to your apple id 

you’ll need to change your app store region back to original

app store > account > add funds to apple id

one copy of yibo’s single costs 3¥ 

add according to how many copies you want to buy 

the amount you add will appear as your credit - as you can see i currently have $25.00 

4. turn on transocks and open the netease app 

can use your weibo/wechat/apple id to create a netease acc

make sure you have ticked that you agree w the terms & conditions before selecting one of the options to sign up 

5. buying the single 

search ‘王一博’ and his new single should come up as one of the results

click on the new song (here i’ve used wugan as an example) then click the options i’ve highlighted

you need to top up the money you have on your netease acc to purchase the single

1 single = 3¥ so if you choose to buy one copy select the 3¥ top up option

after choosing the amount you want to top up, the ios payment prompt should pop up > confirm payment > purchase complete!!!

payment through wechat pay

use this method if you already have wechat pay. follow the same steps as above to download + access the song just no need to add funds to your apple id

1. share the song through wechat

you can choose to send the song to anyone you like including yourself 

2. open link + pay using wechat pay 

you’ll need to sign in again after opening the link and tapping the next highlighted option - use wechat to sign in (remember to agree to terms + conditions)

after signing in you can choose how many copies you want to pay then proceed to pay 

follow the next prompts from wechat on screen + payment complete!!!

contribute your purchase to the established mtjj union (optional)

this step is optional but it’s to contribute the number of copies you purchased towards the union set up for mtjjs (pls do it if you are willing to!)

complete purchase > scroll down until you see unions 

the name of the union for ‘the rules of my world’ will be different than the one here 

the name of the union will be 王一博粉丝官方公会 (alternate name: 王一博的摩托公会）

click into the group and tap the highlighted option - it’ll be red on the day (it’s diff for me bc i’ve already joined the union)

传闻微信可能 9/20 后在美国禁止使用，解决方式可以按以下步骤：

9/20 之前：

1. 把微信的自动更新功能关闭： 安卓手机： 在微信中Me->Setting->General找到Auto-Update WeChat, 然后选Never iPhone的开关在手机的设置（不是微信设置）上 Setting->General->Background App Refresh, 找到WeChat, 然后turn it off. 因为一旦升级/Update，你的微信可能就没有了。如果你做了上面的关闭升级动作，你的老朋友（现有朋友圈）至少还会保留！

I tried the transocks but whenever I open Tencent, it keeps saying error. Have you encountered this before? How do I solve this?

HELLO! I will be answering these questions on how to watch The Untamed/Chen Qing Ling once and for all (sorry if i missed the other asks whelp)

HERE is a more detailed guide/thread on how to legally watch The Untamed/Chen Qing Ling via Tencent. Yes, you’re going to need to avail VIP if you want to watch advanced episodes but if you’re not in a rush then there’s no need to avail it (tbh well they’re releasing episodes like crazy anyway so it’s not as if your wait is going to be too long but it’s your call haha) Do note that this obviously does not have subs. I suggest watching in chrome, right click the page and select “translate to english” so the subs and comments (comments are easily turned off) can have rough google translations.

On the other hand, WeTV (youtube channel) has stepped up and announced that they will be uploading and doing the english subs for The Untamed/Chen Qing Ling in their channel by July (no exact date yet). This will be free of charge but again, if you want free and proper subs then the waiting game will always be played.

**I also know that there are raws floating around but I don’t feel comfortable sharing them in public due to personal reasons. Thank you!

【Direction】How to watch The Untamed on my phone

Step 1: Open your app store, search “Tencent video” and install it

(Chinese name changes a lot, so notice the icon! I heard u can also search “WeTV” and u should get the right app)

Step 2: Open “Tencent video” and select “TV Drama” (the red circle)

Step 3: The page states “陈情令” should pop up

If this page is not shown, search “The Untamed”

Step 4: You are ready to go! Click on the cover page if “陈情令” pops up, otherwise click the orange button to watch the drama.

!JUST IN CASE: if u have no access to video due to ur location, Download any VPN that helps you get in

I personally recommend “Transocks”

Install and open it first, then re-open Tencent
