WHAT IF? What happened to George was WRONG. George was an imperfect man, like us all, but he cared and worked to improve his life & community. This snapshot of his life leads me to believe his heart would be broken by all of the violence and destruction occurring in his name. WHAT IF we instead mobilized 1000's of people all over America to clean up neighborhoods, paint schools and renovate parks in tribute to George Floyd's life and in protest to his brutal and unnecessary death? I have been involved in several Windermere Community Service Days and it is amazing what positive change can be made by a hundred or so people in just 4-5 hours. Imagine 1000's all over America united in positive activity to make their voices heard in protest and tribute to George.
