We are finally getting fairies!

The expansion pack fairy stuff is awesome, but I wanted to share some of my personal recommendations for people who are excited as I am for fairies and apothecaries :D (This collection is for MM and Maxis Mix, so there will be a few alpha items, but most will be Maxis Match)

USING THIS GUIDE - This guide will be targeted for fairies and apothecaries, but I use most of this CC for everything. Anyone with fantasy sims can benefit from this.

The guide has two sections: Creators and Items. Creators that I believe have a large fantasy-compatible collection will be listed in the first section, and individual items that I found will be sorted in the Items section.

And let's move on to the interior. I liked the dining room; I found some references online.

I still haven't decided on the bedrooms… I'm in love with these beds, but I'm not sure if they match.

Captain Rook - a recolor and mesh edit

I've been wanting to make Rook a captain's coat for months, but was never able to find a mesh I felt fit. But then I saw this one, and I knew it was perfect. And since I didn't get to play my favorite lying pirate this weekend, I hyperfocused on making this instead. Hopefully someone else finds it useful!! And if you do, please tag me! I need more pirate sims in my life. 🏴‍☠️

Details:

Majorly edited mesh (removed armor and metal decorations from coat, made sleeves symmetrical, fixed distortion on hands, removed partial gloves, removed leg garter, removed coat tails)

Texture edits (removed pattern from the back of the coat, as well as removing shadows left by removed decorations)

19 new swatches for a total of 32. (3 more with black coat and pants + brown versions of the first 16 swatches.)

Known Issues: there’s quite a few split edges scattered around the coat mesh. Unfortunately they were a part of the mesh I started with, and aren’t a result of my edits. I might give fixing at least the most obvious ones a shot when I get back home, but no 100% promises.

broken horns - mesh edit of a mesh edit

I needed broken horns for my dnd character, Val, but the only mesh I had in my game was only broken on one side. So I combined the two one-sided broken horn meshes to make double broken horns. Sometimes you just gotta hurt your devil/demon/tiefling ocs a little bit!

based on @gerbithats's edits (Damien and Bune) of @valhallansim's lildari horns. (thank you to both creators for making the originals and having such open TOUs and allowing me to share these!)
