Magic does exist in the Sims 4. (And I don't just mean the "Motherlode" cheat!) In fact, it's the entire reason vampires exist. See, Spellcasters wanted to be able to spend more time working on their spells and potions and whatnot. But, you know, they still had chores and whatnot that needed to be done. (Never mind the "Scruberoo" and "Delicioso" spells!) So, they created clones of themselves using magic, to function in the way that Servos do for regular Sims. (That is to say, as slaves.) But, these clones still had Needs bars that needed to be fulfilled. So the OG Spellcasters fed them potions, but something had gone wrong, and these clones became vampires, and ended up "escaping their containment," and attacking other Sims. The Spellcasters then made Werewolves (with the help of canid familiars) in an attempt to subdue them, but that didn't work. Anyway, this is why they can use certain magical abilities. They can hypnotize other Sims, exude a pink cloud that makes Sims fall for them, mind-control other Sims to clean or do push-ups, make Sims talk to themselves, and deprive a Sim's Need. They were getting good at it, too, but Vlad wiped their memories of their Vampire Lore skill in an attempt to teach them a lesson for rebelling against him.

♻ FUNCTIONAL TRASH PILES ♻

I think many people know the popular "Fixer Upper" challenge. I just love this entourage, when everything is broken, garbage is everywhere, it's impossible to live - the game immediately becomes more interesting! Very often, mountains of garbage from debug are used in such buildings, but this is just a decor that has no functionality. This mini mod adds the function of ordinary garbage to all these objects: they can be thrown out, and they also bring discomfort.

Objects from the EP "Eco Lifestyle" and the GP "Werewolves" are used. Also, this mod does not override objects from debug, but creates copies of them, which can be found in the normal buy mode. I hope this mod will be useful and add a little realism to your gameplay!

Does it ever drive you crazy, just how fast the night changes...

Alongside addressing general wolf-lore, my next "Deep Dive" post will have an entire section on Jacob Volkov, Lou Howell, Rory Oaklow, and Celene López due to the significant role they play in my personal story and lore around Moonwood Mill. The lore I have for them spans a pretty decent chunk of time, ranging roughly from the time Jacob is 13 - younger than we see here - up until they're all in their 40s (which is where I always start my werewolf save), and there's no better way for me to illustrate that than a visual aid!

Note: The top row is Jacob Volkov, second row is Lou Howell, the third row is Rory Oaklow, and the fourth row is Celene López. The first column depicts each of them as teens (a flashback for the older three, but where Jacob is when you start the game), second column they are young adults (a flash into the future for Jacob, but where the game picks up for Lou/Rory/Celene), and the third and final column depicts them as "older" adults.

I've included full body shots of their outfits below the cut for those who are curious. <3

The Coziest Cabin

To be clear, this is not an original log cabin — with the perfect straight lines and 90º angles requisite to build mode it simply does not compute. And besides, original log cabins are few and far between (if you can even call them original — the logs eventually need replacing and you have yourself a real Ship of Theseus problem).

This particular cabin has been crafted with meticulously hand-hewn, saddle-notched logs stacked neatly into sturdy walls. The cabin is topped off with a forest green metal roof because, I don't know, Lincoln Logs? Seriously though, I have been Googling, but this remains a mystery to me — do we simply associate green roofs with log cabins because they've always been green? All because the earliest log cabins had green sod roofs?

This home might be perfect for: a real Ron Swanson type, anyone with opinions on the best way to skin a deer, werewolves (sigh), anyone on the lam looking for a quiet place to lay low...

Townie Makeover: Greg Lunvik

The last but not least suggestion of the three suggestions I got for the "Six Townies to Make Over" challenge. @fledermausbend suggested Greg. So here he is. I like how he looks even more like "if you want your limbs to remain attached to you, keep away from him" now.

Outfits

I haven't explored the Werewolves pack completely yet, but what I learned about Greg so far is that he is from a wealthy family. Since we aren't in the late 1800s or early 1900s anymore, I gave him a more modern sophisticated old-money-style (and probably custom made) wardrobe. Now he looks like the "if you like your limbs to remain attached to your body, stay away from Lunvik" kind of crime boss other crime bosses warn you about. 😥I mean Greg is the incarnation of werewolf fury, isn't he?

Oh, and I couldn't resist to give Greg's ears a slight tip since these are quite common amongst my occults.
