HAIKYUU HEADCANONS: When you get a concussion pt 2

Part 1

So for some reason you guys seem to like my first post, so I made a second one lol

This one will feature Tsukishima, Daichi, and Kuroo 

TSUKISHIMA

♥ Tsuki will be reluctantly practicing with Kageyama and Hinata, and you’ll be behind him, watching your tall ass boyfriend continue to block Hinata, much to the orange haired boys dismay

♥ You’ll start to zone out, thinking about how sweet Tsuki had been to you last night, and you’ll be completely oblivious to the fact that Kageyama and Hinata were landing their fast attack.

♥ The ball will fly at your head, and in an attempt to save you, Noya will yank your arm with super fast reflexes. Unfortunately he won’t account for the fact that you have awful balance, and you’ll go toppling over, banging your head extremely hard on the wood floor. The sound will make the entire gym turn towards your unmoving body, before Tsuki is sprinting over and throwing himself down next to you

♥ He’ll lean over your body, flipping you onto your back and examining your chest for any signs of breathing. When he sees your chest slowly rise and fall, he’ll sigh in relief and ask someone for a wet towel and a water bottle

♥ As he lays the towel on your head, you’ll start to stir, moaning in pain and trying to block the bright gym lights from your vision. Tsuki will move in front of you, effectively casting a shadow over you. 

♥ “Ah, Y/N. Thank god” He’ll pull you into a relieved hug, before instantly turning back into Snarky Tsuki. “You know, when there’s a ball coming straight for your face, you have to actually move out of the way, dumbass” He’ll scold you

♥ You’ll role your eyes at him, and then begin to tease him yourself, your words slightly slurred. “I mean, i was too distracted thinking about what a softie you were last night” 

♥ His face will instantly get beet red, and the entire gym will fill with “oooohs”. He’ll just wave them off and pull you onto your feet. “come on, you need to go to the infirmary.” He’ll say, dragging you along. “B-but wait, practice isn’t over” you’ll try to protest. But he’ll just shrug. “I needed a break from them anyways.”

DAICHI

♥ You’re at the training camp, helping Yaku and Lev during one of their late night practices when it happens. 

♥ Lev is trying to land a spike, and you get distracted when Daichi wanders into the gym and calls out to you. In the split second that you weren’t watching Lev, the ball connects with your chest, effectively knocking you to the ground. When your head connects with the ground, you’re out like a light. 

♥ Daichi is next to you in a split second, instantly remembering the time Tanaka had ran into him and knocked him out. He immediately pulls you into his arms and just holds you, frozen and unable to remember what to do. 

♥ He snaps back out of it when Lev apologetically brings him a cold water bottle, and you begin to wake up. Daichi rushes to place the water to your lips, encouraging you to take a sip. 

♥ You immediately feel sick, remembering the split second that your head connected to the ground. You simply stare at his face looking down at you in concern as you try to calm your stomach and process what’s happening around you.

♥ When you’re finally calmed down enough, he’ll start to talk to you softly, gently stroking your hair. “Y/N, i think that’s enough for you tonight. I’m gonna take you to bed” 

♥ You’ll start to protest, but he’ll just ignore you as he picks you up and begins carrying you to your makeshift room. Lev will call out a few apologies as Daichi continues to haul you out of the gym

♥ When Daichi lays you down on your makeshift bed, he’ll give you a soft kiss on the head, and ask Kiyoko for a bottle of pain medication to keep next to you. He’ll whisper a sweet goodnight, give you a second kiss, and then pull Kiyoko to the side to ask her for a few favors

♥ As you slip away into sleep, you’ll vaguely notice Daichi returning to you with jacket, laying it over your body so you could be engulfed in his scent

KUROO

♥ Kuroo is one of the only ones paying attention in Nekoma’s entire gym when it happens

♥ You’re standing on the sidelines, chatting away with Kenma about some random video game that you both really like. A practice match will be going on, but there will be a brief pause as the other team gathers around to discuss a new strategy they want to try

♥ Kuroo is watching you closely, enjoying the excited expressions that cross your face as you and Kenma descend deep into your discussion on character theories

♥ He continues to keep you in the corner of his eye as the game resumes, and the opposing side tries out a new freaky jump serve

♥ At the last minute, Lev (who was serving) slipped on an untied shoe lace and serves the ball directly at Kenma’s head

♥ Kuroo stares on in horror as time turns to slow-mo, and you surge forward to push Kenma out of the way as soon as you caught the ball in your peripheral vision. But you didn’t account for the fact that your head was still in the balls path, and it collides with a loud bang, effectively knocking you out

♥ Kuroo doesn’t even give your body a chance to hit the ground, because he throws his body underneath yours, catching your body with his own, grunting

♥ Everyone comes flocking to you in concern, but he begins ordering them to grab towels and water, and some pain medication. He stares down at you, holding your face as he feels panic set in

♥ It isn’t until your eyes open that his heart begins to slow again. He pulls you into his chest and begins stroking your hair, sighing softly. “Y/N, you have to pay more attention” he’ll chastise softly. 

♥ You’re all groggy, so you don’t really say anything, but you bring your hands up to his face and stare into his eyes. Then you say “I...reall-ly lik-e ca-cats Kura” Your voice is slurred, and you’re obviously very out of it

♥ Kuroo will laugh despite the new wave of alarm washing over him. “Alright, let’s go. You’re going to the infirmary” he’ll pull you up and carry you out of the gym, instructing the rest of the team to continue with their practice. 

♥ When he lays you down on the infirmary bed, he’ll begin peppering your faces with soft kisses. “Be more careful, you had me terrified for a minute there”

I’m sorry if this isn’t nearly as good, I’m a bit shot out now but I still couldn’t sleep until I finished it! Let me know if you want to see more characters with this prompt!
