Monster Engines: Rain

It was a rainy day, steamies hated the rain, but after all these years Edward was less troubled by it, as he curled up to wait for his crew to have lunchbreak. Steamies weren't bothered by the cold as their internal fires kept them quite warm, it was their fur getting wet they disliked particularly their faces. This was why sheds were so important to them, unlike diesels. Diesels were waterproof due to their high oil diet. Water rolled off thier feathers, even the dull undersides of the feathers.

Then as Edward lay resting, he felt another engine lay beside him, and then he suddenly felt the rain no longer. He peaks an eye open to see Boco happily resting with his great feathery diesel tail held over him like an umbrella. No thanks needed to be said between the friends, Boco was contently resting, and Edward didn't want to bother him.

I really love thier dynamic weather as a ship or just friendship. Edward is just cool with everyone, but don't mess with him. Same goes for Boco... I miss Boco so much...

Charlie: awwww!!! hello there little guy! You want part of my sandwich? Here you can have a piece *gives small Edward his crusts* please don’t bite me.

Edward: *is happily eating his snack*

Edward: *came back to Charlie with the rest of his class all begging for food*

Charlie: *is surrounded by seagulls looking for food* uh……

Story where Edward is ‘kicked out’ of his own branch line after it gets ransacked and weaponized against him. He finds Diesel abusing a machine cloning him + his colleagues, cooperates with the twins to stop him, and saves his home in the process

To clarify, the plot contains a gen-AI metaphor, but no AI was used to create any elements in it. I highly doubt that a bot would spit out a story so specific and absurd in nature anyway. Feel free to read some wild stuff conjured up by a human brain and a pen alone

This was really fun to work with and challenging. They are a super cute family.

Keep in mind this AU’s version of her is largely silent and morally ambiguous. A hundred-something years pass and eventually they break out, still aggressive as they were a century ago.
