1654 Words; @tuxedokit's Cry Me a River AU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BESTIE!!!! 🎂🎉🎉🎉
AO3 ver
The water frothed, bubbles all fighting to rise to the surface as fast as possible.
Dion stared, careful not to stand too close, as the bubbles kept rising and eggs at the bottom of the pot failed to do anything interesting.
“Don’t stand so close to the fire, bambino.” His mother cautioned. “And put the lid back on.” She herself was busy with the watercolor set she had gotten for her last birthday, taking the free time to try and paint while the eggs boiled and the children played and her mother-in-law napped and her husband tended to the two year old. That didn’t stop her from keeping an eye on things, though, nor did it stop her from gently reprimanding her twelve-year old son when he got too close to the fire.
Dion put the lid back and stepped away, nodding his head. The image of the bubbles still lingered, small as they were between the eggs resting at the pot’s bottom. It brought to mind imaginings of bodies resting in their watery graves, deep down where nobody could see them. Dion shook his head to try and clear the thoughts, and stepped even further away from the fire and the pot and the boiling water.
His family was cursed to die in water. This was an unassailable fact. Dion had seen it, the watery hand that reached out for his siblings when they got too close—the Hand of Galochio, from the family that had cursed them. But that didn’t mean they couldn’t use water to launder their clothes, clean their bodies, or boil eggs. They just needed to be careful.
Careful most certainly didn’t include opening pots to stare at the boiling water and the eggs contained within, but Dion had been curious. He’d started helping out with the cooking, recently, though for the most part he was relegated to the easy tasks like grabbing ingredients and stirring mixes. And he did like eggs, and really wanted these eggs to be done soon so he could have one and then lord over Raz and Frazie how he got one first, because of course he would, because he was the eldest and the most dutiful child and didn’t wander off where nobody could find him to do god knew what—
But there was little to do, while eggs were boiling and lunch had passed and dinner was still a ways off. Mom was painting, Dad was busy with Mirtala in the caravan, Nona was asleep in the shadow of the tents, Frazie and Raz had wandered off on another one of their “super secret meetups, Dee, you’re not allowed,” and Dion was bored. He did a cartwheel to try and burn some of the nervous energy bubbling in his limbs, then another. And another.
The creak of the caravan door drew Dion’s attention, and he watched as his father emerged, Mirtala tucked into one arm and staring wide-eyed at the world with a toothy grin. Dion’s father pressed a kiss to his mother’s cheek as a way of greeting, eyes darting down to the small canvas before her. “Beautiful as always, Дорогая.” He commented, shifting his hold on Mirtala to accommodate her squirming, his free hand drifting down to rub gently at his wife’s stomach.
Dion turned away from his mother’s flirty response with a grimace. Adults were gross. He hoped he wasn’t half as bad when he was finally grown up—something that seemed so close in his mind.
Giggling and footsteps broke Dion from his thoughts, drawing his attention to Frazie and Raz, emerging back into the camp. There were leaves and twigs in their hair, mud smeared on their knees and hands and arms. There was even some mud on Raz’ face as he grinned up at Frazie, walking along without a care in the world.
Something sharp lodged itself in Dion’s chest. He stood before them, hands on his hips in an approximation of his mother, and pitched his voice loud enough for his parents to hear. “Where were you? You can’t just wander off like that!”
Frazie kicked at the dirt nonchalantly, not phased at all by Dion’s attempts at authority. “Around.” She sniffed, as though she had better things to do than entertain her older brother. At her side, Raz nodded. “Yeah,” He squeaked, “Around.”
“Well, next time you’re around,” Their mother’s voice cut across the camp, “don’t wander so far away.” She took in the state of them, her lips pursing slightly. “Now go clean up, you’re all muddy!”
Dion smirked at Frazie, who only rolled her eyes in response. A frustration he had no name for lodged itself in his throat as his sister turned tail, her skirt flaring as she launched into a cartwheel. Something like envy crept into his brain—but for what? Dion shook his head, trying to clear the feeling. He had other things to worry about—the ringing of Mirtala’s bell as she was set down on the ground was the only warning Dion got before he was tackled from behind by his baby sister. Dion yelped as he fell to the ground, and he shoved his cackling sister away while scooting backwards.
It pressed against Dion’s chest, begging to be let out. He hissed, crossing his arms as though the motion might keep it contained. He swallowed, trying to will the feeling away, to keep himself together. Mirtala lunged forwards, shouting an approximation of his name while reaching out with chubby toddler hands, and Dion’s chest surged and sloshed in response.
Dion shouted, grabbing Mirtala under her arms and lifting her in the air. She laughed, and Dion set her back down, his chest still pounding. That was close. Really close. But he held together, and he could feel the waves receding, ebbing away as his chest loosened.
His mother scooped Mirtala up, eyes alight with amusement. “Let’s not terrorize your big brother, okay topolina?” She turned her attention to Dion, and he did his best to look cool and unaffected. This wasn’t the first time his baby sister had tackled him to the floor—though he really hoped it’d be the last. Still, his mother tsked and leaned in, licking her thumb to rub dirt off of Dion’s cheek.
“Mooooom,” Dion whined, making a face. His mother just chuckled, before turning and setting Mirtala down, softly directing her daughter’s attention to Dion’s father, who was busy appreciating the half-finished painting. Mirtala giggled, before running off with all the speed she could muster. That handled, Dion’s mother turned her attention back to Dion.
“You should go find your siblings, bambino.” She suggested. “We need to get everyone ready for afternoon practice.”
Dion nodded. “Yeah!” He turned to the tents lining their camp, walking off to go do just that, ignoring the soft waves in his chest. His whole family was careful around water, but that didn’t mean they didn’t have any on hand. Water was needed for a lot of things, like clothes and hands and eggs. Still, Dion found his steps slowing as he approached where his siblings were washing off the mud by a low basin, talking in hushed tones. They didn’t notice his approach, so Dion slowed his steps and strained to try and make out what they were saying.
“...lucky it was just mud.” Frazie murmured. “And stop knocking me over when I’m rolling around!”
“It was just a puddle.” Raz huffed. “Balance better next time.”
Frazie poked Raz right in the middle of his forehead. “Don’t tell me what to do, Poots.” She frowned, reached a hand out, and lifted a loose leaf right into Raz’ face. Except she never touched the leaf—
Dion took a step back. He… he’d caught Raz doing this stuff, a few weeks back, but Frazie—
The Aquatos were cursed to die in water. This was a fact. But they had been cursed by fortune tellers, who moved things with their minds just like Frazie did—but they’d promised to stop—
The pressure in Dion’s chest returned anew. It sloshed around like so many storm-swept waves, the push and pull of it slow and steady and threatening to tear Dion apart. Bubbles fought their way out from his center to his skin, and his whole body seemed to shake. He trembled, stumbling backwards a step—
The world exploded into nothingness with the sound of water rushing through his ears. He tumbled, spinning endlessly as he fell, until he finally felt a shuddering vibration as the ground rose to meet him. He shuddered, ripples chasing across the dirt, pushing in every direction in an attempt to be anywhere but here. Fear hammered in a chest that didn’t exist, and he seized up entirely.
No no no not again I tried so hard—
He needed to focus. He needed to relax. But how could he do either, when he could feel the very beginning of a familiar tugging? When that distant feeling he had recognized since he was ten was back and trying to coax him into the shape his family feared the most? But he had to focus, he had to relax and calm if he wanted to pull away from the tugging of a family curse and return to himself—
Dion gasped as he pulled together, the dirt cold under his hands and knees. He stared at it, at dry dirt that only moments before was horribly muddy because of him—
Dion’s nails dug into the dirt as he breathed, frustration pricking the corners of his eyes and tightening his throat. Stupid, stupid! He wasn’t supposed to let it spill out, he had to be better, solid, what if someone saw—
“Dee?”
Dion's head snapped up. Frazie and Raz were staring at him with wide eyes, Frazie's arms wrapped around Raz protectively. Oh no. Oh no. They—they had to have seen—but surely they hadn't—but what if—"Dee," Frazie stepped back, "What did you do?"

I just. Fucking. (I just imagined a scene where raz and Dion argue and Dion asks "why do you never talk to me?! I'm your duckie!" And raz just goes "Because both of us know that in your eyes, I'm nothing more than a disgraceful, disgusting, family abandoning, deluge causing, low-life, no-good, dramatic, worthless FORTUNE TELLER, DUCKY!!")
WHOUGH.,,,,, THE SILENCE RIGHT AFTER..... DION DOESNT EVEN KNOW WHAT TO SAY
"... that's—that's not-"
"don't bother." raz barely held back tears, his voice cold and bitter. "you don't have to lie to me."
and with that, before dion could even think to reply, he turned on his heel and left. a single teardrop hit the ground where he had been standing.

dion almost bitterly pointing out that even if ford was the root cause, it was still her parents who actually and actively hurt her. it was still their actions, driven by their fear, that lead to her isolation. yeah, ford is partly to blame—but they're not free of the blame, either
dion pushing them away for a bit, only to fold so quickly, because no matter how much it hurts all dion ever wanted was for mom and dad to love him again... and now here they are. and dion finally isnt so alone anymore.
dion only yells at them when the little ones arent around, though. she doesnt want to scare them. theyre just kids. just like he was.
dona might beg for forgiveness, plead with her baby, shes so sorry, she was just so scared. dion replies "so the fuck was i! i was a child! your child!" dona promises to make it right somehow... dion doesnt know whether to trust her. but dion wants to, so badly. she cant make it right, she cant undo whats been done. but she can do everything in her power to be a better mother now.
augustus says it straight up: you may never forgive me, and i wont hold it against you if you dont. im sorry for allowing that fear, my fear, to take away the father you deserved. ive failed you, dion, and i will forever regret it. i was so worried about protecting us from the curse, i lost sight of who i was fighting for. what was done cannot be undone... but, if you will, please, let me try to make it up to you now.

dionygula becoming something of an urban legend,,,, i am down for that. some people claim they can hear wailing in the rain, and not the kind of wailing the wind makes. some even claim it sounds like sobbing—especially when the rainy figure is just barely in view. the rain is thickest around her, around this rainwoman, battering anything that dares come near.
but there's a sense of melancholy in the foreboding, a sense of hurt hurt hurt in the far-off wailing.
...and then the psychonauts catch wind of this supposed unending storm
how long is it before they catch wind of it? do the delugionaries realize they cant control what theyve created? do the psychonauts send raz on the mission to investigate? (considering its been long enough that hes a skilled hydrokinetic at that point)
does raz get there and hear the wails, the sobs, and stand there? in the middle of the storm? while everyone has run for shelter, does razputin aquato stand in the rain, let it consume him, until he sees the figure in the rain? does he stand there, unmoving, letting the figure cry as he realizes this storm isn't an attack, it's sorrow, years of sorrow, all pouring down around him? does he feel the loneliness in every raindrop? does he take a step forward and tell the storm he's there? does he tell it he's here to help? does the storm hear kindness? for the first time in so many years, does the storm feel cared for? does raz get just close enough to the figure? just close enough to see that it's the one he thought he lost all those years ago? the older sibling he never got to meet?
and what does he do then?

give us cmar storm catharsis. give us cmar storm dion finding out the curse isn't real and just... being too tired to be mad
the door was open. the moment raz entered his trance, it was like the world went still. the rain stopped where it was, hovering in the air, perfectly still. it was beautiful.
raz opened his eyes to a hurricane. raz pushed through. the hurricane died down. raz kept going. im not giving up on you. the storm knew he wasnt lying. he had come back three times now. and he always used to in their youth. the storm quieted. dion was in the eye. they reunited.
they opened their eyes in the real world. water fell around them, soaking the pair. neither one cared.
the walk back to base was awkward. especially when dion turned to the teen and asked.
"so... how the fuck did you do that?"
"do what?"
"survive??? i... i was flooding... everything. how did you survive?"
raz blinked. oh. oh. the curse... dion wasn't there, was he? she doesnt know...
"it wasn't real."
"what?"
"the curse," raz started, "it's... it's not real. it never was."
"... you're kidding"
raz flinched, waiting for the realization to hit his older sibling. waiting for the explosion of rage that was sure to follow.
it never came.
instead, dion was... laughing? not a happy laugh. it was dry, tired, and loaded with years of pain and regret. dions smile wasnt forced, but it wasnt real either...
"... of course. of course it wasn't."

how does each aquato react to the hydro reveal?
ok, ive been talking it out w purple heart anon in dms, and ive got a general idea. the reveal isnt all at the same time. she tells them each individually, at different times. in order is as follows:
mirtala thinks its cool and pretty!!! tala, along with queepie, seem to be less afraid of water, and queepies been all about Alone Tike recently, so dii thought itd be easiest to start with tala. and was right, tala just kinda went with it
unbeknownst to dion, tala tells queepie. queepie doesnt. really... care? like. "cool i guess." queepie sees it in action and gets a little more hyped though, but that happens later. overall, hes just kinda. processing the information, and by the time its fully set in, its become a new normal
raz. ohoho boy. it does not go well, because dion did Not Think It Through. raz and dion have been, a little at odds, though less than in canon because by the time they get a chance to properly talk, everything is out in the open. still, dion mightve said some nasty things, even before raz ran away, and has some apologizing to do. on top of that, raz has more water trauma, what with the strength of the hand and how many times hes grappled with it. put those together, dion splashes, raz's hydrokinesis flares up, dion cant reform because the hydrokinesis is keeping her in the form of The Hand, and.... well, now you've got problems
augustus hears raz crying in the distance, sees a Hand of water as big as his eldest child, and (rightfully) freaks the fuck out. he does the thing dads do where they put up a brave front, though, standing between what he thinks is the curse and his son. he gets raz far enough and has enough control of his own fears that dion is able to reform, apologizing so much and so fast and *god* her guilt is palpable and shes trying not to cry and melt again and ultimately dion runs away out of fear of hurting them. augustus and raz are left, frazzled, in the clearing, trying to process what just happened
nona is in the gulch with her old people friends when dion shows up, frazzled with tear tracks on her cheeks. she asks her little turnip whats wrong, and dion tries to explain the incident with raz, which was very recent, as this is where dion ran away to. in trying to explain it, dion works himself up again and splashes, to the surprise and shock of all the old people except nona, whos just like "oh so you inherited that?"
.. dion is reasonably confused, nona teaches dion basic control of her power (which is hereditary), and dion is abke ti return to the QA. meanwhile raz and augustus have finally calmed down??? ish??? but are just. really confused and worried for dion. who finally shows up again to big hugs from papa and raspy
frazie is a while later? and it goes smoothly. shes just glad shes not seeing things, what with dions little "splash & reform in the blink of an eye" stunts. when dion explains it as "testing the waters", frazie punches him in the arm. so generally all is well
queepie gets to see it first hand and now fully begins to accept that yeah tala was Not Lying That Dion Can Water
and finally.... donatella. dona has a lot of complicated feelings about this but she shows None Of Them in front of her baby because he looks so, so sad and that is her firstborn and in that moment that matters more than all of this frenzy and chaos. the rest of the family is just outside, waiting to help back dion up in case things go awry, despite dion explicitly asking them not to do that. later on, donatella talks with augustus about her feelings and what this means for their eldest and his future

okay, can you summarize dion's relationship with her hydro form pre reveal? how it changes as she finds out about it and grows and gets better at it (against her will)
ok pre reveal how dion feels about it lets give you some bullet points my good friend
age 7: discovery. good fucking lord. more confusion than fear. dion honestly thought that was the curse at work (since it happened when he fell into the water)
age 8: dion realizes this isnt the curse. more confusion than anything, but slowly becoming a bit afraid. honestly just thinks shes randomly blacking out or something. doesnt pay much mind to it.
age 9: okay this is getting annoying. terrifying, but you get used to it when youre scared so often. coming from an arachnophobe that had a very. uhm. crowded. home. yeah. dion is still scared every time, heart racing, brink of tears. but you get used to it
age 10: dion finally figures out what it is thats happening. figures out how to perceive the world in her watery form. raz walks by pond where dion is hiding. they can feel something, herself, being pulled toward him. dion can feel the hand. raz flounders. frazie pulls him out of the water. they leave. dion cries, a new horror seeping in. that was you. you almost killed him. he's only three.
age 11: dion is afraid, more than anything. he never knows when this "thing" will rear its ugly head. when he will melt away again. when he might nearly kill them again.
age 12: fear still courses through dions veins, but they've noticed thats what it likes. it likes fear, nerves, strong feelings. dion learns to try to hold them down. dion doesnt realize how hard that is going to be
age 13: welcome to being a teenager dion. have some mood swings to go with your predicament. isnt that fun? isnt that grand? being 13 is hard. its hard and no one understands. on the plus side? dion can sorta move around as a puddle now! and has kinda figured out how to perceive the world. so theyre not totally at the mercy of the world anymore!
age 14: dion finally has some control. not much, but some. the constant fear has once again paved the way for annoyance. being afraid gets so tiring, you get desensitized after a while. still scared. just. less compassionate to yourself for it.
age 15: dion is now more afraid of her family knowing than she is of her own powers. now that doesnt mean dion isnt afraid of himself. just that... family moreso. what if they hate me? what if they fear me? conceal, don't feel, don't let them know.
age 16: dion can fully move as a puddle now. swag! still horrifying, but at least now shes got mobility. also starting to learn how to control it
age 17: the maligula incident. dion is no longer afraid of themself, now instead wanting to strangle a certain someone.
and heres a bonus
post reveal: nona teaches dion how to change forms at will, as well as control where in a body of water her consciousness lies

Okay, we've got a lot of different asks with different answers, so can you give us a full timeline of Dion's hydro powers?
bullet points for major events here we go
age 7: her powers are discovered. dion has no control, and no idea what is happening
age 10: dion realizes he is turning into water. still no control, but now has a slight understanding of what exactly is happening.
age 17, during pn1 and ror: raz goes missing. dion goes missing. dion begins the journey home, while her family assumes them dead
age 17, during pn2: raz is informed of dions presumed passing. dion finds the aquatos. heartfelt reunion occurs. the truth of the curse is revealed.
age 17, post-pn2: dion comes to terms with her power. dion tells the family. nona teaches dion how to water it up. shenanigans ensue

Dion before event of games somehow learns (You can imagine how) that Marona Aquato and Maligula are sisters.
How he would learn it and how she would react?
i feel like someone would whisper it to him, but no one except ford and nona know, so... i dunno !
maybe augustus has a nightmare, and dion hears him talking in his sleep. "mama, whats a ma-leeg-you-luh?" ... "aunt lucy? but why? she's your sister, she's not a bad guy" ...
dion puts it together: dad had an aunt. nona's sister. nona's sister was maligula. nona's sister cursed our family. why? why? why? what?
dion slips out of the caravan. the stars are twinkling peacefully in the night sky, as if dions whole world wasn't shaking with this horrible revelation. their great aunt, his aunt, her sister, was the one that had flooded what would have been their home? why? how could she do that? how could she hurt her family like that?! dion finds herself pacing around that nights campfire, now only damp embers. why would dad keep that from us? that knowledge, dion figured, was pretty damn important for them to know. maybe he would ask nona in the morning. then again... loss of a sister would be heartbreaking. maybe it's a sore subject for her.
dion decided to ask dad in the morning. for now, she really should've been sleeping already. after all, they had a show tomorrow.

if raz's jaunt into The Storm's storm was a level, how would it go? what obstacles would he have to parkour over in the overworld? would he trigger the hug-and-slap-with-door cutscene by reaching a specific place, or by using a specific item? what enemies would pop up in dion's mind? would there be a boss battle?
i imagine the wind would be pushing him steadily back, with rain pelting him obscuring his vision. anything from sticks and litter to cars and trees would be flung at him by the storm and the intense winds. he would just have to keep pushing forward, into the eye of the storm, calling out to dion all the while. it would either trigger once raz reaches the eye of the storm or just after a set time surviving / not getting knocked out of the storm
the mental world, i imagine dion is somewhere up really high, being pulled up, up, up, by a mass of water. mental!dion would look like dion does in canon, as that was the last time dion felt like themself. doubts and regrets and panic attacks and judgments would be very present. there wouldnt be a boss battle so much as a theme of persistence, raz keeps getting knocked down and away, down and away, down and away, and he just has to keep trying until he gets just close enough, which would trigger a cutscene of them both reaching out to each other, causing light to bloom from the point of contact and white out the screen

"Beneath the Brine" by The Family Crest for CMAR Storm Dion. Specifically someone singing about Dion. Or maybe "Why have you taken me from the fall?" Could be a reference to Raz' efforts to pull Dion from her spiral,,, maybe the refrain is from Dion's POV but the rest of the song is like,,,, people's perspective on the Storm/the Rainwoman? idk the song vibes, expecially musically. it's got the gravitas of standing in a steadily worsening downpour and fighting your way through it to find the eye hurting at the center of it
god, it does. this is the song that plays during that confrontation, for sure.
lyric interpretation under the readmore
Oh, young love of mine / She sleeps beneath the brine
And oh the sound, the tick / The weighty click of her heart against my spine
Dion's old self, on the brink of breaking.
Now the dark is nigh / And she lays here at my side
But like a steady squall / Her arms they fall and her legs, they grasp me tight
That old self having drowned, in her mind. An innocent young girl, left to die. Protected in the dark, in the storm.
Oh, young love, young dear / Why have you taken me in your fall?
All of my love, all of my life / Given to you, sacrificed
Raz running away. Dion deciding to run. To leave that family behind. Sacrificing the hope that they might change.
Oh, my waking world / I leave you for a girl
Cast away into this blight / Swimming blindly through the night
Dion running, the first time, from the aquatos. She leaves them for that girl, the one in her heart that she knows will never get the love she needs here. Casting away everything she knows.
Now my heart is bound / Like a plague upon this sound
And oh, it slips away, such soft decay / Then it grows
The years flying by. The storm growing, inside. Dion ran away, but that pain followed. Her heart is still bound. And that pain? It grows.
Oh, young love, young dear / Why have you taken me from the fall?
All of my love, and all of my life / Given to you, sacrificed
Dion running, becoming the storm.
Stay clear of the wreckage / She goes down, down, down
The storm growing, growing, growing. She goes down, down, down
And she burns like the sun / And it all falls away
Take your time, and I'll take mine here today
But it cuts like a knife / And we're bound here as the night, it breaks away
And it all goes down
Hurting, hurting, hurting. Swirling and living in this pain for years. The storm rages with the passion of the sun, the world falling away, leaving nothing but that pain that sorrow.
Oh, young love, young dear / Why have you shaken me from the fall?
All of my life, all of my days / Given to you, cast away
Raz reaching out. All of Dion's life before having been for Raz, all of Raz's efforts back then for Dion.
Here's to the war / Here's to the night
All of my love, sacrificed
The storms end. Here's to the love of a family. One that no fear could break apart. No matter what. All of their love. Sacrificed
Soft and kind / Cold as ice
Hold yourself beneath the brine
Smooth as wine / Black as night
Hold yourself beneath the brine
Dion having tried to drown herself in that sorrow. The darkness that still lies within her heart. The feeling that it will never truly fade.

cmar but dion attracts deluginist attention and becomes the next maligula. or she gets separated from the family (they looked for her! she looked for them! it wasn't enough) and gets a spinel arc before becoming dionygula. maligysius? delugeon?
editing this to be more in line with the plot ive got
cmar!dion is long gone, she thinks, but raz shows up.
dion remembers that hes the only one who kept sneaking off to see him, hang out with him, hug him.
because raz felt ostracized too and he didnt let fear control him like the rest of the aquatos, he saw that fear and hatred and he looked death in the eyes and kept going, kept buying those dumb comics with his allowance, kept going behind mom and dads back to play with dion, to learn from dion... and dion knowing that hes always been that persistent little kid. frazie gave up, but raz didnt.
that being the reason dion disappeared after raz did, if raz wasnt there, no one else wanted dion around, so why bother? itd be easier now if she were gone, too
raz showing up at the height of dions rampage, crying out through the whirlwind in her mind and begging her to please, stop. he knows it hurts, he cant begin to imagine how much worse it is for her, but this wont help. please, dion. please come back. i missed you.
and dion looks down and sees that little kid that got grounded to hang out with her, found himself choking on water and still kept coming back anyway. her little brother. no matter what mom and dad did, he'll always be her little brother.
and she comes back to him.

when do the senior agents find out, if they do? are they concerned? curious?
milla screams, before raz promptly reassures her that "nonono its okay dions okay!!!"
sasha is fascinated. milla will have to hold him back from performing experiments on her. law be damned, this is the coolest thing nein has seen in years
oleander is... unsettled at first, but once he fully processes it, he's already trying to give dion advice for ways to use this ability "in the field" ...whatever that means
hollis? hollis lets out an exasperated sigh, pinches the bridge of her nose. of course they can do that. of course. sure. why not, y'know? this family is already so goddamn weird (she doesnt realize its just dion. when she does shes just even more baffled)
truman is impressed. he's heard something about advanced psychic abilities, but this is brand new to him. good on you, dion
