but also I don’t really do enough to change it? It is what it is(for the most part) and I’ve been living in my head constantly scrutinizing myself enough for three generations. It’s a sad truth I’ve come to live with, but I really resonate w readers lack of agency after all.

In a very selfish way, I was jealous of the eventual convo w joon airing out her grievances and seeing him will to make that change while addressing his faults. I wish I had siblings (or anyone) that saw me grow up and realize that maybe I did deserve better, better than just “okay”.

Re: I had to open my journal in the middle of reading and reflect on why this scene came down on my chest like the meteor that killed the dinosaurs.

I loved yoongi (still rooting for him to grovel a bit more) but him finally revealing all the silent ways he loved reader was:(. She deserved to know how much she meant to him, that he loved her so much, traveled countries in hopes to find her.

I want to believe he truly loves(ed) her and she didn’t become his failsafe bc of the divorce with hyewon. I truly think “you don’t know what you had till it’s gone” describes Yoongi because he missed a lifetime a love for a couple years of settling with someone who didn’t respect him.

“You’ll go on this tangent that you’ve always been weak, influenced by the times that Yoongi had chastised you for your lack of a passion. 

To you, Yoongi had been right in a way.

To Yoongi, he’s always been in the wrong” broke my heart the right amount :|

Haneul being a conjecture personified. A constant reminder of what reader could’ve had, but more importantly a wake up call that we’re too late for hypotheticals. We’re here now and have to deal with the consequences of (Y)our actions (yoongi:p)

I also loved jk. He was so sweet and if their jobs weren’t a conflict of interest, I’d be delighted to see how loved he’d make her feel. I hope he puts his crush to good use and treats her the best.

I think this has been my favorite oc you’ve written because of how much she resembles my daily life. A kind of selfish bit, but it’s heartwarming looking at someone knowing they deserved better than the cards they were dealt because that means there’s a hope someone will finally look at me and think the same. (Fingers crossed for us all)

Colour Vision Universe

They'd meet while Jungkook was doing colour therapy at her art cafe. She'd have a really good grasp on colour, even with monovision, just with how closely she works with the paint - Jungkook would assume she's multi. The glitter would really confuse him with monovision. His eyes wouldn't be able to figure it out, so he'd spend a little extra time staring at her which would ofc get a little confused. She'd try and help him out with the colours, but he'd find himself getting frustrated. We all know B is an acts of service girlie, so she'd spend a little extra time with him coaching him through things. She'd be really impressed by how artistic he is despite it all. They'd bond over cheating exes and how much it sucks to be an artist with monovision - but I think they'd find a kindred spirit with one another instead of a romantic connection. Funnily enough, I could actually see B with CV!Hobi.

Annie x BD!JK

They'd meet through Chloe & Jimin, in a double date kind of situation.It would turn out Jungkook knows Namjoon too (BD!Joon being a newspaper journalist is a nod to CV!!), and so they'd have a lot of mutual connections but I can't see them falling for one another. Annie would like him perfectly fine, but our girlie needs more a project. They wouldn't really have anything in common and nothing tying them together. As for BD!Kook, he'd think Annie was fine, but he'd be the kind to really trust his colours. If he doesn't have an instant spark, he'd think it was fruitless.

Bad Decisions Universe (colours play no factor)

CV!JK x Byeol

They'd meet at a gallery mixer. She'd be trying to network for her career, and he'd have a small photography exhibition. They'd both be a little sick of the rich men at the event, and would bond in the corner next to a tray of free champagne. He'd be intrigued by her - but glitter doesn't photograph well. He'd look at her and think about how much of a nightmare she'd be to take photos of. Much like the CV!universe version, they'd be fine friends, but it wouldn't be romantic.

BD! JK x Annie

They'd meet at the opening of his restaurant. It would be a few years after the BD timeline, 'cause without byeol, it takes a little longer. Namjoon will have asked her to come along, 'cause he wants to celebrate with his friends and not worry about reporting. She'd speak with Jungkook about the hardships he went through to get to this point in his life. She'd find him really admirable, and be impressed by his hard work. The thing with Annie is that she often has red lips and nails. He'd think she was really attractive, but the red would hold him back through association. She'd come in a few weeks later. Her write up did really well, and brought in a lot of business. He'd give her and her friends their meal on the house and they'd get to talking. She'd stay until closing - but Jungkook owns the place. Would stay with her by the bar area until the early hours. It'd happen a few times over the following months and one thing would lead to another. They'd hook up, and it would be great (hello? it's bd jk???), but once they got it out of their system, I don't think they'd be long-term compatible. The first sign of Hayun kicking up a fuss and Annie would be like nope, I'm out.

3. What show did you have high expectations for, but ended up disappointing you? oh boy, here we go: Step By Step, Between Us, Chains of Heart, Pit Babe (though if I focus on other couples, it's ok). I write mainly about series whose trailers and descriptions suggested something different than what I ultimately received. There are, of course, a lot of series that I had no expectations for, but which started out great and ended up disappointing me after I became interested in them.

#robits | another dream universe! This is an apocalyptic sci-fi dystopian world, comprised of robots and cosmic horror. Bit of a smaller project, but hey, it exists 😎

#dragon magic world | dream universe #3! This one's a high fantasy thing with a ton of magic lore and dragons!!! Also the most expansive universe I have thought up.

#astrovagus | space dragons!! This is more a speculative biology project for a specific creature. I've thought about tying it in with the dragon magic world though! Or at least giving it some kind of story to exist in haha.

#vampire birbs | sortof a semi-dream universe. The character concept came to me in a dream, but I've expanded on it way past that. This is the least worked out concept I have going on.
