First doodle for the Copycat/Ouroboros daily/weekly posts!

Most likely weekly, rather than daily, but I will try to post as much as I can of course :3

Copycat is the main thing that's gonna be posted, it's this creature's main form!

I do not have a proper ref for either designs yet, and Ouroboros has no real design yet, buuuut i will be designing it soon :D I'll send these references sometime later

Quick lore drop: Copycat looks like a V-model, partially by own choice. It's creator kinda just designed it to look like the V-models, but it isn't an official one. The main difference is the lack of wings. The name "Copycat" is a name it gave itself, since it's pretty self aware that it steals materials and fighting styles from both husks and machines, rather than having them programmed and built into itself.

There ain't much else I will be sharing so far. If people are actually interested I'll be sure to add more lore drops in the nearby future ;3

Tags to differentiate Copycat and Ouroboros are just their names with "dc" in front, the "dc" standing for my actual username "dialcrow"

CHAINSTROYER

Hey so I made myself an Ultrakill oc based on Swordsmachine. Love that fucker and I made my own version of it.

Lore details under the cut.

While its original purpose and design is a mystery to most, it is mostly known by enthusiasts by its time as a swordsmachine copycat. However, after facing several rough defeats in battle, it sought to create it's own fighting style - one much different from the original inspiration - to become more powerful, or at least, less predictable.

After years of scavenging and bloodshed, it finally managed to make a name for itself among other machines. And while the Chainsaw Hand from which its name originates is certaintly a big part of it, even more so is it's Atomic Arm, a strange and powerful piece of machinery of unknown origin. No one knows from where it came from, or how it came into the posession of such a weak machine. It boasts to have obtained it in combat, but some speculate it was granted as a gift by some higher being.

Nevertheless, it is clear that this robot's ambitions far outweigh it's capabilities. Despite packing a powerful punch, it's terribly inefficient and painfully fragile - to the point that it's own attacks damage them. Its contantly in a state of repair, and what pieces of blood-soaking armor it has can barely make up for it. Despite this, it reserves energy for a voice system - one of the more obvious remnants of its origins as an imitation.

It's clear that pure determination, and its powerful arm, is all that's keeping it together.

it makes doom eternal look boring. i love doom eternal its one of my favorite games of all time. but i also feel bad saying that. because comparing ultrakill to doom is like comparing a plesiosaur and a shark theyre very very different ultrakill is this fucked up beautiful amalgamation of several different genres and they make out with eachother and have gay sex its incredibly unique its not a clone or a copycat its not just some other ps2 graphics tend following spur of the moment creation its very well made there is an insane amount of shit you can do the replay value is through the fucking roof there is so many jokes and secrets and eastereggs and on top of it all you get a genuinely moving story and a great fucking soundtrack and the games not even FUCKING done yet. there is an unbelievable amount of love poured into this thing by absolutely everyone involved. AND it can run on my shitty office laptop at 60fps that is currently struggling to type this post. if this game doesnt get bigger and hakita doesnt get a big smooch on the face im going to start throwing copper at powerlines

ultrakill is literally so fucking good in every single way im so mad about it
