They’re most well known for being an incredibly performance-oriented group, especially when considering they are both self-producing and self-choreographing. Their music is notably relatively mature and suave, with EDM inspirations and a penchant for immersive, complex sound.

He is currently in a public and long-term relationship with Ignite’s maknae, Oh Areum ( @ignitexe​ ).

Taesong is adored in the fandom for his natural charm, or his seemingly effortless charisma and sex appeal. he rarely needs to be styled in anything showy to command the attention of a crowd, and he’s been mentioned as the UV member with the best stage presence before.

He’s the only member of UV with his own car, which was the first major purchase he made on his own.

He’s very close with his mother, and he tries to visit her at home as often as possible.

Taesong is a very good cook, and often helped his mother around her restaurant before he became an idol. When he goes home, he cooks for her basically nonstop. 

He’s very close with fellow UV member, Jamie, and although Taesong isn’t great at showing affection to the others, he makes sure that both Jamie and everyone else knows he appreciates them through small gestures and little things every now and then. 

He talked about Areum being his ideal type for years, even predebut, and now that they’re dating, fans have noted that he seems happier than he ever has before. 

His Busan satoori jumps out when he’s really excited about something, when he’s yelling, when he’s tired, and when he’s feeling particularly angry. For the most part, however, he tends to hide it when he can.

He has an older sister named Minju (born 1994), and while they’re not ridiculously close, they still love each other.

He loves to sketch and paint, and posts his artwork on UV’s social media every week.

Minsung doesn’t have an English name, despite being Australian, because his parents chose not to give him one. For most of his life, however, he just went by “Min” at school and with friends.

He’s good friends with a variety of other idols, including Seventeen’s Seungkwan, Astro’s Moonbin, Weki Meki’s Elly, and Verivery’s Minchan.

He dislikes being babied, but as he’s the shortest member in the group, he kinda can’t avoid it. Refuses to do aegyo unless he’s paid.

The only way he can keep his Australian candy and snacks in the dorm without them being stolen is by hiding them behind the vegemite.

Really loves anything vanilla flavored, and likes sweet smelling candles

He’s roommates with Jamie, which he pretty much hates, and has been trying to bribe Taesong to switch with him for months...to no avail.

He isn’t allergic to shellfish, but he hates it, so Minsung lied to the other members for literal months and said he’d die if he ate it or was around it so no one ordered food he couldn’t steal.

He likes to paint on his clothing! He custom-designs his own denim jackets and shoes, and has held auctions for the original pieces a handful of times in order to donate money to charities.

Despite his Australian roots, Minsung rarely curses, but he doesn’t care if  people do around him.

While he was born in Seoul, Siyun spent the first nine years of his life living in Shanghai, China, where his father relocated their family for work. His mother unfortunately passed away not long after Siyun’s birth.

Siyun has an older sister, Lee Soyi (born 1990), who is famous as well. She is a fashion designer and entrepreneur, and Siyun has modeled for her brand, Soybean, on a variety of occasions. He also has one younger half-brother, Soohyun (2001), who was born after Siyun’s father remarried. 

Fans often say that Siyun is like the real leader of the group, as he seems to be more on top of things than King is, more often than not. 

He’s the group’s mom, and the others have been known to call him as such from time to time...thankfully, he doesn’t mind.

His pain tolerance is crazy high. He got his hand tattoos without flinching (on a dare, mind you), and when he was a kid, he broke his arm without so much as shedding a tear. 

His hair color changes practically weekly, and fans joke constantly about how he’ll be bald for their next comeback. He doesn’t find it all that funny, though.

He’s a huge fan of the group Infinite, and hopes to collaborate with Dongwoo, someday.

He’s very popular amongst American fans because of his chaotic personality, down-to-earth vibes, and relatability. 

Jamie has recently been getting incredibly buff and it’s terrifying spectrums for fear of just how built he’s gonna get. He’s currently the most muscular member of UV by far, and he never misses an opportunity to show off his abs or “big titties”, as he so eloquently puts it. He’s capable of picking up every other member, much to Taesong’s dismay, who misses when Jamie was a twink he could push around. 

Jamie is a complete mama’s boy and would do anything for his family, meaning he tends to struggle with homesickness a lot, unfortunately.

His favorite movie is Shrek 2, and he’s willing to argue with ANYONE as to why it’s the best movie in the franchise.

Jamie has produced for several other idol groups, including his labelmate RE:NEW, and has collaborated with X2′s Junsik on a handful of projects for both of their respective groups.  

He’s cousins with Lovenus’ Josie ( @lcvenus​ ), and the two have been close since they were little kids! They’re not allowed to be in the same room, though, because they get incredibly loud and obnoxious. 

Jamie is currently dating fellow idol/producer Kim Dabin of TMRW ( @huiseoks ), but they’re not even remotely public. The two were best friends, and their relationship essentially evolved from there.

Jamie has been known to get flighty and evasive when anxious, and has literally tried to run away from the dorms on a handful of occasions. It’s always up to Taesong to get him back. Being away from home has been incredibly difficult for Jamie, and the others get it. 

He talks in his sleep, and his members often joke that his Korean is better when he’s unconscious than it is when he’s awake. 

He forgets his Korean often, and finds himself lapsing into English if he isn’t diligent.
