yoonjae doesn’t get a gif icon of himself because i don’t know how to make one!

anyway, hello, it is me again with yoonjae, your dad. he had good parents, but when they died of a car accident, he ended up in an orphanage. due to being a pushover, he often had his food stolen and was therefore skinny & short. he had a friend/protect (yizhen) there, though, and that made his life at least a little easier.

the entity passed through the orphanage and most of the kids turned. with the adults slaughtered and monsters on a rampage, yoonjae managed to use his newly discovered power to survive with his friend until the umbrella arrived. he’s pretty grateful for the organization, because he would have died if the soldiers did not arrive in time. umbrella fed and clothed him better than the orphanage, so he decided to be loyal.

at first he was eager to fight, but soon realized the battlefield can be extremely brutal. for the past 20+ years he struggled, learned and eventually became the person he is today. now he’s a confident fighter and a patient instructor. he likes to teach young people on the field because that’s where you gain the most experience. he’s fond of people who are diligent, resilient and kind-hearted.

when he’s not on missions, he likes to chill around his penthouse in dad sweater vest and comfy slippers with a mug of tea. ah yes, that’s the life.

someone who sees yoonjae as a father/uncle figure, maybe. someone who never had a loving family and could use him as a substitute. 

a soldier who got saved by him during their first battle and is grateful since. they can be friends and train together often!

someone who resents him because he didn’t get there fast enough to save their family. like, oh, they keep on saying this park yoonjae is great, but if he really is all that then why did my family die type of thing.

someone who has disappointed him or is disappointed in him. we can work out the details. i just find the idea of disappointment fun.

oh gosh, the people are here! (〃ω〃)

hello babes, welcome to the world of mark, your friendly neighbourhood creep. before he went by the name mark, he was known as seo jaein & had a big family + lots of siblings (including little jane). he was a bit weird even as a kid - spent a lot of time reading alone in his bedroom, people watching in the park and staring at dead rats/birds on the street. he was doing well academically, so if he didn’t the organization he could have gone on to try and become one of those kooky scientists.

as a soldier, and often a squad leader, mark is very goal-driven. he will do his best to eliminate monsters and rescue civilians, and will have no trouble sacrificing people if he deems it necessarily. for example, if one person must die in order to save twenty, he will absolutely send that person out with a smile and say don’t worry, everything will work out just fine! also, if there are two people needing to be saved and he deems one person of greater value to the organization than the other, he would save the more valuable person regardless of any emotion ties.

some people are a bit wary of him because of his heartlessness decisiveness. there are a few rumours going around about him killing a lot of humans, including teammates. people speculates he actually enjoys murdering people/inflicting pain. there was also something about him being part monster already because he tasted monster blood. anyway, there’s a lot of myths out there about this guy and most of them are not true.

social interaction wise, mark is the type of guy that’ll appear quite literally out of nowhere in the hallways. when you are badmouthing him, you turn around and somehow he’s been behind you the entire time. he has a rather intense stare and his smile sometimes scares people more than it comforts them. he laughs at the wrong times and tells terrible puns. he’s experienced in battles, though, and doesn’t have many failed missions in his record. if he likes you, he will usually tell you, like, i enjoy spending time with you. insertnamehere, you are a good friend. if he doesn’t like you, he will imagine choking you to death in vivid details during his free time. it is pretty hard to get on his bad side though, so you had to have been a real shit to him.

maybe you or your younger sibling got forcibly recruited by him and you hold a grudge. he started working at 15-16ish and he is 27 now. so if you joined within the past 9 years, this could be you!

you heard some really outlandish rumour about him and wanted to know the truth.

samran is a ho, that’s all. 

jk, i can’t just leave it at that. samran had really shitty parents, snooty brother and cute baby sister. his parents expected him to be something he wasn’t and did everything they could to correct him. eventually, he got fed up and figured he could just act like the dumb bitch hooligan they kept on insisting that he was. 

personality wise, samran’s pretty extroverted. he enjoys making random conversation with strangers on the street, though oftentimes he pick offensive topics. he doesn’t respect authority and would not be going on mission at all if he had any choice in the matter. unfortunately, while he doesn’t mind a beating, solitary confinements do scare him so he does the bare minimum soldier stuff.

his power is emotion manipulation, but at rank b all he can do is make monsters hate him more than the others. this makes him a great bait, but he is also not the self-sacrificing type and often annoyed with his role. 

he likes good looking people and is touchy feely. so if he sees a face that he likes, he’ll actually walk up to you and try to touch you as hello. samran feels like the organization is very dull and having sex is one of the few fun things you can actually do, so he’s constantly trying to hook up. over the years, he’s gotten better at not getting caught!
