idk if its just my university or if being a grad student is just stupid as fuck everywhere bc why is every procedure i have to follow some secret mystery hidden ten pages into a random webpage or just something i have to learn by the wisdom passed down by my elders

#WHYYY is trying to put in fucking travel requests the hardest thing in the world. JUST GIVE ME INSTRUCTIONS AND ILL FOLLOW THEM!!!!!!!!!#ummmmm. ask for how much money you think you need. and ill approve it. and you approve my approval. and that submits it. but wait !#okay so your registration for this conference is going through someone else. no we wont say when we’ll ask for it and she wont say when #she’ll submit it so you should just hope it gets taken care of.#ALSOOOO. LAST TRAVEL TIME. i submitted all my receipts and there was some issue the finance lady kept bugging me about #and i literally had no clue what the fuck she was talking abt bc i did everything she said and then after like two weeks she just did it #herself.
