hard for me to see

Pagtangis

Umiyak ka, ilabas ang lahat ng problema.

Umiyak ka,  kahit huwag na munang tumahan pa.

Umiyak ka,  ibuhos ang lahat ng sakit.

Imulat ang mata mong nakapikit.

 Umiyak ka, ilabas ang lahat ng problema.

Umiyak ka,  kahit huwag na munang tumahan pa.

Umiyak ka,  ibuhos ang lahat ng sakit.

Imulat ang mata mong hindi mo kayang ipikit.

 Hindi n'yo maiintindihan dahil hindi n'yo nararanasan

Ang hirap, ang sakit, ang galit na aking nararamdaman.

Pagdududa sa sarili ko na kahit alam kong kaya ko,

Tanging pagtanggap ang hinihingi ko sa mundo.

 Umiyak ako,  sinubukan kong ilabas ang problema

Humikbi, 'di ko alam kung makakaya ko pa.

Humagulgol, sa tuktok ng burol ng pagdududa

Hanggang sa luha nalang ang tanging natira.

 Pagpapanggap,  ang bagay na masaksabi kong magaling ako,

Magpanggap na masaya kahit hindi ko na kaya,

Magpanggap na ayos lang kahit nilalamon na ako ng problema

Magpanggap na matatag kahit na ang kaloob-looban ko'y inaanay na.

Magpanggap na kayang mabuhay sa mundong ang tingin sa akin ay kakaiba.

 Umiyak ka, ilabas ang lahat ng problema.

Umiyak ka,  kahit huwag na munang tumahan pa.

Umiyak ka,  ibuhos ang lahat ng sakit.

Imulat ang mata mong unti-unti nang pumipikit.

 Nasa tabi,  mag-isang nakikinig ng musika

Tinatanong ang sarili kung bakit ako'y nandidito pa.

Hindi ko alam ang saysay ng buhay,

Kung ang tingin sa akin ng iba ay tila ba isang bangkay.

Bangkay na nilamon ng kalungkutan,

Bangkay na nangungulila sa kasiyahan

Bangkay na umaasang ang araw ay mamamasdan

Bangkay na ang pag-asa ay tinalikuran.

 Hindi dahil hindi mo nakikita ay hindi na tunay na umiiral.

Ang hirap, yung sakit at pagpapanggap na sa katagalan ay nakapapagal.

Hindi ko alam kung handa ba akong sumugal

Tapusin ang buhay o sumuong sa mundong masukal?

 Umiiyak ka,  inilalabas ang lahat ng problema

Umiiyak ka,  mukhang hindi na tatahan pa.

Umiiyak ka, ibinubuhos ang lahat ng sakit.

Imulat ang matang gusto nang pumikit.

 Isang tao lang, isang taong handang makinig ng walang pasubali

Isang taong kayang buoin ang pag-asang nabali

Isang taong handang magpunas ng luhang walang tigil na umaagos

Isang taong kayang pakalmahin ang pusong humahangos.

 Kinakain na ako ng kalungkutan,

Hindi ko alam kung bakit at ano ang patutunguhan,

Kung mabubuhay ako sa mundong ang tingin sa akin ay isang kalokohan,

Marahil dito na matatapos,  hanggang dito na lamang.

 Umiyak s'ya,  isinigaw n'ya ang lahat ng problema.

Umiyak s'ya,  hinding-hindi na tumahan pa.

Umiyak s'ya, ibinuhos ang lahat ng sakit,  mula sa sugat sa pulsong dulot ay pamimilipit.

Ipinikit ang matang nabuhay sa mundong hatid ay puro sakit.

 Panaginip.

 Ngumiti ka, dahil alam kong kaya mo pa.

Ngumiti ka, dahil may kaibigan kang kumakalinga.

Ngumiti ka, dahil masaya ang buhay

Ngumiti ka, at ipangakong ang pag-asa'y hindi na tatamalay.

Mountains

I could feel the mountains calling out to me in a small moment and realized it was really him the whole time. He was the mountains. He was the wind blowing through my hair on swerving highway roads though the hillsides. He was the way the sun hit the tress perfectly, illuminating the green needles on top of the rich underbelly of the forest. He was crystal blue waters misting up from glowing rocks under the heat of a summer day. He was the smell of fires. He was smiles and quiet and adventure and serenity. He was the voice calling out to me from miles away, calling me into the wilderness.
