We heard your feedback! Thank you to all our current members who filled out the optional vibe check survey. This is super helpful in making sure we're constantly improving and mindful of what the group wants.

Please know that even as we publish this, we will continue to keep an eye on the form for any submissions. As well, each our DMs are open if you'd like to have a conversation at any time. Below is a summary of the feedback we received and how we plan to address it:

What is working in the group?

Overall, positive feedback! Our list of monthly events seem to be received well, with an appetite for even more mini-plot drops and group-centric events. Our writers are friendly, welcoming, and inclusive. Next Steps: More mini-plot drops within the month of June, and moving forward! We'll look into what makes sense from a group-centric event perspective that fits with the go-forward plot.

How is the overall pace?

Most feel like there's just enough time to sink your teeth into the events before moving forward, or things getting stale. We do hear that for some, it can be overwhelming when we do a location change/monthly event letter given number of muses or speed of the dash. Next Steps: Continue with the current pace, but increase our mini-plot drops and country-specific events. Likewise, incorporate more events (like our list of reckoning assailants) that don't necessarily impact ongoing threads but give good context for those who want to sink in. These can be known as "contextual events!"

What improvements can be made?

We received mixed feedback, ranging from admin improvements (publishing reservations and apps and being mindful of activity checks across all muns including admins) to group behavior (ensuring political plots and connections get their due spotlight versus ship specific). Next Steps: We appreciate feedback that keeps us, your admin team, accountable and thoughtful. Anything specific to that is addressed! In regards to the rest - we will keep a closer eye on which WCs are taken up and address it if it becomes imbalanced. We heavily encourage political wanted connections to be taken on and will be advertising wcs in the discord perodically that are not romantic in nature to try and further encourage these to be taken up. Likewise, we will continue to encourage political plots through mini-drops and more politically inclined, country-specific events. For reservations, we will keep updating the pinned post. As the admin team is mobile a lot of the time, it is easiest for us to update our pinned post versus making a post on the main. Please make sure to check the pinned post before discussing future characters in the discord ooc chat! We always try to balance communication with what's comfortable and accessible to us, as an admin team. If this continues to be a point of concern, we'll relook at it. We will also be following up with each member (ourselves, included) to ensure that their intros are written, posted, and pinned to their blog to avoid further confusion!

What do we need more of?

You all voted for more angst, more drama, more action... So -- Next Steps: the Admins gonna get real unhinged LOL...

upon learning that the order of heroes had no equivalent of a human resources department, coralin took it upon herself to start one-- after chewing out alfonse, sharena, and anna over not having such an obvious service available to begin with.

she discovered the lack of hr in book i, when the order began really bustling with heroes and she found herself asked a question she didn’t know the answer to. coralin promised to find out and report back to them, and sought out alfonse to ask who was on hr so she knew who to talk to about things like this in the future. as one might guess, he responded with confusion. in turn, coralin responded with incredulity-- they were disrupting people’s lives to bring them to zenith to begin with, and if they chose to stay and help fight in the war, they were expected to chase down alfonse, anna, or sharena every single time they needed something-- and hope that they weren’t currently busy. even if the order of heroes was small at the time, the lack of resources available in an easily accessible place was appalling to her. had they really not thought of this before starting up the order of heroes? were the people they brought in -- their heroes -- really that expendable?

coralin was furious at the thought, and demanded to sit down with anna and determine everything she could possibly think of in regards to what it meant to be in service to the order: whether the heroes were paid, how to manage sick days and time off, appropriate scheduling, benefits, room and board, amenities and training facilities, the weapon refinery orders, therapy and medical services, termination of a contract, the best way to settle disputes, how to submit feedback, complaints, or concerns-- and wrote everything they settled on down. 

soren, uther, eliwood, and narcian (...oh no) are on the team with her, and she has extended any authority she has to them. in turn, they’re expected to know the human resources policies and if they can’t help with a problem or answer the question themselves, they’re to take it to her-- or at the very least, point the person in need of help her way.

every sunday is coralin’s dedicated office day. she works on training schedules, chore distribution, and coordinates teams or updates on that day-- and anyone is free to walk in whenever they’d like to talk to her if they need to. on weekdays, she spends either the morning or the afternoon in her office depending on when she has meetings or other duties to attend to; she closes up shop early on friday and takes saturday as a personal day, assuming there is no immediate crisis that requires her attention like a tempest. if she cannot be in her office at any given time she ought to be, she will post a notice on her door apologizing for the inconvenience.

perodically -- at least every couple of months -- coralin and her team will divvy up the roster and personally survey all the heroes on the state of affairs in the order. she takes this job very seriously, and will be very angry with those on her team who do not.
