Pre Relationship

How did they meet?

It wasn’t romantic in the slightest… Horza was a slave, set to be sacrificed by Uruks of the Mystic tribe when Pushkrimp had raided and killed them all. Pushkrimp saw a little, red headed orc that reminded him of someone important to him and selfishly decided to bring him along with his crew…

What was their first impression of one another?

For Horza, it was pure terror, plain and simple. He had been a slave for decades at this point, and Uruks ruled his life. He assumed he would be killed, or thrown to the beasts, or far worse by such a massive, imposing Uruk, but when Pushkrimp picked him up and ordered him to be placed on a caragor, Horza’s terror didn’t wane but it did become twinged with confusion and wariness.

Pushkrimp, though, was rather pathetic in how nostalgic he felt when looking at Horza. He looked like someone he once knew, but he wasn’t him. Still, he brought him along anyway? Why? He was impulsive and still drunk, so he has no idea what he was even thinking in the moment, even when he genuinely looks back and tries to reflect on it.

Did anyone want them to be together?

No, of course not. Uruks and orcs don’t go together. One is superior and the other inferior. They aren’t so different but that’s where their conflict originated from. Not to mention the fact that Horza was an orc slave and Pushkrimp was a feared raid leader. Feared, but respected? That was up for debate.

Who felt romantic feelings first?

Horza did. Pushkrimp was… kind to him. Kind, but confused. Intoxicated more often than not, but kind. And gentle. And pathetic-

Did either thy to resist these feelings?

Not in the beginning, but after Pushkrimp became more sober, he knew he was harming Horza and he genuinely came to care about him, not as another that he wasn’t, but as himself. He cared about Horza and they were killing each other.

If you told one or the other that the other would be their soulmate, what would they think?

Ridiculous. Mad, even. But… hopeful. Wanting and silently begging for it to be true…

What would their lives be like if they never met?

It’s simple: they would both be dead before the War was over.

General

Who initiated the relationship? How did it go?

Their real relationship was initiated by Pushkrimp, after the war. It was extremely rocky, complicated and distant, but only for the first month or so while they got to know each other for real this time.

Did they have an official first date?

They didn’t declare it as such, and “dates” aren’t really a thing in Mordor, but Pushkrimp did take Horza to the beach, merely to spend time with him, so he could be in a place he loved and longed for.

What was their first kiss like?

It was during their first date and it was literally the most awkward experience of either of their lives. Both participated, but Pushkrimp froze and just… stayed in place and didn’t move, which made the kiss totally dead feeling and weird.

Were they the other's first anything?

Yes! Pushkrimp was Horza’s first love and first kiss, and Horza was Pushkrimp’s first… well, everything.

Height difference? Age difference?

Pushkrimp is 256cm and Horza is 170cm… That’s a difference of 86cm and equal many heads and shoulders in total, which doesn’t include the fact that Pushkrimp is incredibly broad and Horza is thin and lanky, even after regaining a healthy weight.

Relationship with the other's family?

What other family? There is no one but themselves, and the clan they join, which they are on good terms with.

Who takes the lead in social situations?

Horza, which would surprise many. Pushkrimp is… shy. And awkward.

Who gets jealous easier?

An interesting question. Pushkrimp becomes dejected and has such low self esteem that he thinks anyone could be better than him, while Horza becomes jealous when others seem to be intruding in their space, usually not believing or not caring that they are in a committed relationship due to Horza being an orc.

Who whispers inappropriate things into the other's ear?

Horza does it to Pushkrimp, and it makes his heart stop every single time.

Love

Who said "I love you" first?

Pushkrimp did! It was a confession of sorts, but it was so quiet and rushed Horza thought he misheard him at first.

What are their primary love languages?

For them both, it’s physical touch and acts of service. They need to show each other how they feel and it works to better get their point across than with words alone.

Who uses cheesy pick-up lines?

Both do, though Horza is far more confident than Pushkrimp is when he says romantic things.

How often do they engage in PDA?

They always hold hands or each other’s arms when they are in public, but they rarely kiss in public.

Who initiates kisses?

Horza does over 75% of the time, but as his confidence grows, Pushkrimp reciprocates 50/50!

Who is the big/little spoon?

Horza is the little spoon 80% of the time and the rest is Pushkrimp, who absolutely loves it.

What are their favorite things to do together?

Doing literally anything together is their favorite thing, even if it’s work. But something special to them is walking along the beach together…

Who is better at comforting the other?

Even though he struggles with his confidence, Pushkrimp is excellent at comforting Horza, and Horza is just the same.

Who is more protective of the other?

Pushkrimp is quiet, but he would kill anyone that looked at, or spoke ill of, Horza, any time, any day.

Do they prefer verbal or physical affection?

Physical affection all the way, though hearing “I love you” always feels good, too.

What nicknames do they call the other?

Horza calls Pushkrimp something akin to “great caragor” or “cherished beast” in his unique orcish dialect and Pushkrimp calls him “singing bird” in his unique Feral dialect.

Who remembers the little things?

They both do! The little things make up an individual, and they matter greatly to both Horza and Pushkrimp.

Domestic Life

If they marry, who proposes?

It’s more of a mutual proposal, where they both discuss and agree to it at the same time.

What was the wedding like? Who attends?

It was a private affair, but they married around their clan and some of the wandering monks, who were important to Horza.

How many children do they have? What are they like?

Nargâsh was only a few hours old when Pushkrimp found him in the forest, alone. He was their only son, and he was beloved by them.

Do they have pets?

A beast master doesn’t really have “pets”, but they do have a lot of animal companions and livestock. So many caragors, birds, ferrets, caragaths, pretty much any animal that lives in Mordor.

Who is the stricter parent?

They are both balanced in their approach, and balance comfort and structure in their parenting styles. Though, Pushkrimp is a little stiffer than Horza is.

Who worries more?

Pushkrimp. He doesn’t show his worry like Horza, but it eats away at him much, much more quickly.

Who kills the bugs in house?

Nothing dies in their home unless it is to be eaten. Both remove them outside.

How do they celebrate holidays?

They celebrate with their clan. Before Nargâsh, it was quiet but after adopting him it would become much more animated, especially as he got older.

Who’s more likely to convince the other to come back to sleep in the morning?

It’s a 50/50 split! Both know things need to be done but the bed is so soft and they don’t want to part from one another just yet!

Who's the better cook?

Horza for sure. Pushkrimp would eat all his food raw if it were up to him.

Who's the better dancer?

Horza. It’s no contest whatsoever.

Her name is Ghash, she has one eye and a Giant Spider (rescued and adopted).

After some time, Ghash became close to our Lord Father. She turned into his bff. And later, the lover. BUT the relationship was intense, happy and SHORT. TRAGIC. We 🖤 drama.

This will be a flashback in the comic and will explain part of the bitterness and rancour of Adar.
