IRT the "who can use the accessible bathroom?" debate

watching people's absolute gymnastics to explain their "need" for the accessible bathroom is always both wild and incredibly frustrating to me.

if you do not:

-use a bulky mobility aid that can't fit in the regular stall/otherwise cannot fit into another stall

-have a medical device requiring a feature that is not available in other stalls

-need the grab bars and they're unavailable in other stalls

-have a carer who assists you in the bathroom

-have an infant that needs their diaper changed and the changing table happens to be in the accessible stall

then I'm sorry but you just do not need the accessible stall. I do not believe you. I do not believe you at all. I think you are making excuses for yourself because you want to shit in luxury without feeling bad about it.

the accessible stall is not the "every disabled person" stall, it is not the "stall for people who find it more convenient" it is the stall for people who truly cannot use other stalls. and I really mean "cannot" and not "don't like."

your preference is just not the same as my wheelchair, stop pretending it is.

The new dating feature... What to expect?

Disclaimer: I only bought this because I had a lot of Google Play points, so I could shave a looooooooooot of the total price, but my condolences to anyone who doesn't live in the US because it's a lot more expensive in another regions... Including mine, of course

Disclaimer 2: I'm not telling you what to do with your money, this Is my personal opinion. If you are planning in buying this, do whatever idc, but since a lot of people are having doubts, I felt that I might as well tell everyone what Is this about.

So yeah... Since they announced the new feature, I knew It either would cost real money, It just sounded too good to be true, but I didn't expect to cost $29.99? Almost $37 in my country currency, a total scam, really.

But to be fair to them, this Is a bundle that comes with 300 DP, and considering the price of 280 DP, it's almost like you get the ticket for "free", right?? At least that's how Solmare probably thought It would look like, but the reality Is that the common player will see this bundle and just think that this ticket cost 30 fucking dollars (just look at the comments of Twitter and the tag Right now). In my opinion, just separate the DP and the ticket, and have the bundle as an special offert If you want. Remember that selling stuff Is also about framing... Most players that were planning on buying this might not be planning on buying the DP (like myself, I don't buy DP unless it's on special offerts) so the only thing people like that will think Is that "why this ticket costs that much?"

But what you get in the actual event, you might ask? The trailer was vague as hell in my opinion, and that's an instant red flag in my radar, especially for that spicy art that came with it

For a ticket date you get:

A 1min call

A 10min storyline (not fully voiced, apart from certain lines in the las part of the storyline)

A Majolish background with the date art

The event starts with you calling you boy of preference (in this case, I choose Mammon) to invite him to a date, the call ends and you get a 10min storyline. The premise of the Mammon's date Is that MC has won tickets to Phantom Park, and then Mammon & MC get involved to a game of tag to win a price. Then couple shennigans happen, blah blah blah.

The Story Is... Not bad? I found It rather cute actually, it's romantic and at least they make It explicit that Mammon & MC aré actually dating, but again, this could very well have been in a Devilgram, it's not worth the 30 dollars Solmare expects you to pay tbh. Just tip your favorite fanfic author and call It a day

The last segment Is the one they show in the tráiler, with Mammon getting out of the shower

In this scene, some lines are voiced, and tbh, If the actual story was like this, It almost miiiight be worth It (not the full price, but at least something). But as now? Save your money people, I wouldn't really recommend It.

The only way I would recommend buying It it's If you're already planning on buying the 280 DP offert, or you have a lot of coupons/GPP so you don't pay full price lol, but If you like Lucifer (or Asmo) just do yourself a favor and buy the ASMR. At least, that's what I think

Y’know, I really love when magic physically changes the person using it. Damage from overuse is great, but what about runes burning into their skin every time they use a new spell? Or their body physically morphing to match the kind of magic they’re using, like unicorn magic causing a horn to grow from their head. Even better if it’s permanent.

idk if anyone else has gotten the beta for the new communities feature but these features in particular are a little bit concerning to me. i haven't tested this, but it looks to be an entirely separate comment section that's hidden from the post's op if they're not in the community, meaning you're removing a creator's ability to moderate the comment section surrounding their work. this is especially concerning for me as a creator who produces content related to transness and gender identity--moderating my comments is often a constant daily struggle to keep bigots from having their way with my posts, and this seems like it has the potential to remove or at least significantly impair my ability to moderate who engages with my content and how. Also, on a site that's had major problems with transphobic and racist harassment in the past, i can see this very quickly devolving into a way to dogpile on certain users or even organize the kind of harassment campaigns we KNOW certain people on this site are prone to engage in with no way for any outsiders to even WITNESS what's going down. At the very least i think the op of a post reblogged into a community needs to have access to the community comments (which may already be a feature--like i said i haven't tested it yet but this explanation reads to me like they don't) but on a larger scale i think the devs for this site NEED to think about the potential for misuse when putting out new features like this because this just looks like a nightmare waiting to happen to me

So I’m watching Doctor Who for the first time (I’ve been spoiled on a couple different things including the fact that River is Amy and Rory’s daughter, which I don’t mind) and I’m on the episode where Amy and Rory and River encounter the silence for the first time. And I think the astronaut is River from the past and when I got to the bit where Amy shoots at her it took all my willpower not to say ‘there are easier ways to perform an abortion’ because I am sure that the people I am watching it with (also the first time) would actually murder me if I gave them that bombastic of a spoiler but I had to get it out somewhere so I’m posting it here instead
