in which you are a mercenary assigned with the (impossible) task of killing the head of the ragnvindr clan but the only way you even have the chance of getting close is through the spouse selection held at the end of winter.

diluc ragnvindr, you note, doesn't want to be here any more than you do. he's blunt, uninterested and you're pretty sure one of the candidates left in tears. all in all, this isn't looking to be a good idea.

when it's your turn, diluc is still blunt and uninterested. you don't expect this to be one of those romance novels you've heard about, where the love interest falls deeply in love at first sight and they live happily ever after, the end! no, this isn't a romance novel so diluc ragnvindr doesn't fall in love with you at first sight but you do spend the longest time with him.

you talk (mostly bickering though) and he tells you about his cecelia garden and you tell him about the place you used to call home, all while trying not to blow your cover because you're not a noble like diluc was lead to believe and you don't have an "enchanting" estate by the sea and you don't have a loving mother and father.

you leave the ragnvindr manor feeling no different than when you came. so when a letter of marriage proposal arrives at your doorstep, you think that maybe there might be more to diluc ragnvindr than meets the eye.

yeah i mean of course he is an important part of kazuha's past, but most tmkz fans just dont talk about kazuha alone at all. every time he is in an event, and we learn something about kazuha, they are always like "i hope this is about tomo" i even saw comments like "kazuha's quest sucks because it wasn't about tomo" THIS is what makes me angry (sorry for my English btw)

oh yes! that's definitely something i see around whenever kazuha is mentioned/highlighted. which brings me back to what i said about separating kazuha from his past. i completely agree with you anon because it's true that people sometimes fail to think of him as him. your experiences are what make you but they do not define you. and that's what everyone tends to forget!

hopefully with this new event, everyone will realise that kazuha has moved on from his past!! that's basically the essence of his character anyway

hello hello anon! this is a pretty loaded ask but i'm gonna start by saying that i completely understand where you're coming from. it's kinda like how people made boba ayato's entire personality and frankly, it got annoying after a while because ayato is such an amazing character when you really think about it!

and yes! i, too, don't like how the majority of the fanbase can't separate kazuha from his past + grief/tomo. he's his own person, with his own experiences and whatnot and it shouldn't be confined to just his time with tomo.

however, i understand why tomo was in the domain! and i think it was completely alright! that's just me though, you're entitled to your own opinions nonnie <3 but i think the significance of tomo being mentioned/in the domain was that the entire storyline was an exploration of kazuha's past and tomo is, and will always be, a part of kazuha's past. kazuha himself has gotten over it (as he's stated numerous times) because he understands why raiden did what she did. he's accepted tomo's death because it was the way he's been raised. but since this event is focusing on kazuha's past and by extension, the cores of his beliefs, i think the inculsion of tomo was a welcome one!

(though yes, i completely agree with you! kazuha is wonderful in his own right, he doesn't need tomo to be mentioned when we !! as a society !!! should never shut up !!! about kazuha !!)

and leaving would mean leaving xiao, your most reluctant visitor. but he is kinder than he says he is. he is hope and humanity embodied and you find him so impossibly beautiful in the light of the moon. you do not want to leave this, or him. you want him and this life and this serenity forever.

so theres a LOT about him and i wont get to it all but his name is trafalgar law and hes from one piece, an anime/manga series i’ve been following since i was VERY young (about the age of 10)! he’s a pirate captain for his crew the heart pirates, and his epiphet is the surgeon of death because of his devil fruit power called ope ope no mi (op-op fruit, meaning ‘operation’)

his power is a lot to explain but basically he makes a bubble of space around him and in that bubble he can manipulate and rearrange literally ANYTHING he wants, including people’s body parts! here’s the wiki for more info about his power if u’d like to know the ins and outs of it, i dont wanna go on for hours about it

hes a really neat character and i like how his personality parallels with one piece’s main character luffy and i love him a whole lot and i dont think ill ever stop talking about him sndkfjsd (and heres a gif of him bc i realize u probably dont know his face either)
