Today, May 6th, University of Amsterdam students, together with students and facultiy from nearby universities and allies have OCCUPIED ROETERSEILAND CAMPUS, demanding that University of Amsterdam divest from Israel: end cooperation with Israeli institutes and break all financial ties with companies that profit from the occupation of Palestinian territories.

They are calling on everybody who supports this cause to JOIN THE OCCUPATION OR ITS SOLIDARITY DEMO AT ROETERSEILAND NOW. Making it through the first night will be vital for the occupation, so if you can spend just a few hours there tonight: come and help create power in numbers!

I had an absolutely wonderful time at the Lafayette Bicentennial celebration at University of Virginia's Rotunda! Felt quite shy at first but I ended up meeting so many wonderful folk.

I tried to fix the lighting for these ones, but alas the rotunda lights did not like us 😵‍💫 Me with Lafayette, Jefferson, and Madison!

All of them were so lovely and nice to meet (and remeet, such as Bill Barker who I saw a couple weeks ago baha), but I especially was honored to talk to Bryan Austin, the one reenacting Madison! We ended up bumping into each other on my way back home and we walked through a flood of Model UN students together 😭

Just wanted to post here since this blog is so history focused :)
