Paoyu:

🪡: well people think that she isnt very good at homely stuff from her appearance and "spoiled rich girl" typa attitude, but shes pretty good at cleaning and working with a sewing kit!! shes good at a lot of homely things actually, she just hates doing them. she grew up poor (like ruggie level poor), so she had to learn to do these things.. but she doesnt like it at all 👎

🍳: shes actually (surprisingly) really good at cooking! although, she doesnt know how to cook much outside of her cultural food.. she cooked for jade in the mostro longue once, and since then azuls been tryna get her into his kitchen during rush hours 😭

👻: hmmmm paoyu isnt really all that afraid of stuff tbh?? if i had to choose something, i would probably say her own behaviours and issues and how it affects the people she cares about 🤷‍♀️ she gets too defensive and mean fast, and she always regrets it almost immediately. but shes too prideful to say sorry or admit it.. then she gets afraid of how that affects her relationships with the few people she genuinely likes

Champei:

🪡: champei was taught by the older women of the place she lived in as a child to do these things- but only breifly. after after had to start living on her own at 10, she needed to learn to do these things for herself QUICK, so shes also really good at simple homely things like patching up clothes and attending to her own wounds

🍳: oh shes horrible at cooking 😭 well, shes not as bad as lilia, but shes still pretty sucky.. girl lived on her own for years but she mainly ate things bland and didnt really know how to cook at all. now, as an older teenager, shes too embarrassed about it and avoids the kitchen like itll kill her 💔

👻: well like paoyu, champei isnt really scared of anything specific like an animal or monster? shes seen it all, it doesnt effect her much. so id say that her biggest fear is everyone finding out her biggest secret and getting shunned away from society for it (and as a result, ruining all of her hard work and everything shes fought for most of her life)

okay selanna brainrot is getting to me... so basically shes an atlantic salmon mer that lived in a river in the queendom of hearts with the highest population of salmon mers 😋 Her family ventures a lot into the sea though, and they find oysters to sell the meat and pearls! Her entire family is really big on pearls actually, and Selanna often makes pearl jewelry with one of her older brothers :) Selanna is really family oriented, and she has 2 older brothers, 1 younger brother, and 3 younger sisters :3 She also grew up with her cousins (whos families are also apart of the oyster business) so she was always surrounded by a lot of people and family at all times!! Her growing up with dozens of other kids is what made her so competitive and driven to team based competitive sports ‼️

Beofre Selannas second year at NRC, she met azul, floyd, and jade at the mer land camp that teaches young mer people to adapt on land!! She was there the year prior, and volunteered to help out with the new mers coming onto land :)

Selanna loves losers.. like seriously, she LOVES losers 😭 idk man, seeing some pathetic mess of a person really gets her giddy. She likes the idea of being someones rock that theyre able to rely on !!

During her 1st year, she was on the rugby team. During her 2nd year, She was on the spelldrive team. Now in her 3rd year, shes on the basketball team! She wanted to be able to try out as many land sports as she could before having to go back home.

when Selanna got sorted into Savanaclaw, the other students just kinda stared at her like "??" bc she kinda doesnt fit the vibe.. in fact, most students outside of savanaclaw even now question her dorm sorting when they see her armband. But those in Savanaclaw KNOWW how much she belongs in there... 😭

Her and Idia started to date at the end of their second year actually! They were in the same classes for their 1st and 2nd years, and often ended up working together a lot. Most people dont know about their relationship however, and they just kinda let people figure it out for themselves without saying anything.

☔️: oh, selanna LOVES the rain! in the area that she lived in as a child, the rain would always be really heavy and hard. but it also had a really beuatiful effect on the surface of the water and selanna would often find herself watching the rain hit the water from below!! now, in a human form at NRC, she enjoys going out into the rain with a coat and just sitting in it peacefully. she finds some sort of comfort in it i suppose? 🩷

💍: I've mentioned this in another post where isa asked about selanna, but her family actually has a business where they collect oysters to gather the meat and pearls to sell!! and as a result, selanna LOVES pearls and pearl jewelry!! her entire family does actually- they all wear some sort of pearls :)) selanna actually makes pearl jewelry with one of her older brothers and hes the closest family member to her bc of it 🫶 (i should draw him sometime..)

💝: selannas love language is kinda confusing because she expresses her love in all types of ways instead of a set love language.. 🤔 but i think that she enjoys giving verbal affection the most!! she loves speaking and expressing herself through her words, so her lover should hear about how much she aodres them at all times!!!
