Yeah! I definitely am writing reader with a much different vibe to the one in Cleaning up the Timeline. She's been through a lot and survival puts a lot of things on the backburner. I see this version of reader/mc as more cautious and reserved. I wanted to have the LI bring out the feistier side of her as she grows more comfortable.

I LOVEEEE writing yearning and desire but resisting it. I wanted to write them all falling in love and experiencing these new things together. The first kisses and touches. I also wanted there to be more falling in love. In the game, we see some of it in their myths and I wanted to explore it more!

I’m not making a request (although you’re free to let your imagination flow further ofc), but rather airing out my own thoughts; what would happen if one of the boys were the ones in danger, rather than MC? What if Rafayel was taken by someone investigating Lemuria? How would his absence affect the rhythm of the rest of the group? Would Caleb cry? Etc etc…

Hahaha! I know Caleb definitely has it in him to put that arm to good use, and he definitely will! For now, I think of Caleb as someone who has had to be strong for his whole life.

Even in canon, I think Caleb has tried to put on a brave, happy face for MC ever since they were kids. He's the one who has to be strong, who has to keep it together and keep her safe. So, when things settle down and he's able to actually breathe for a minute? I think Caleb likes to be submissive because for once it's him that's being taken care of and being protected.

In the fic, I like to look at it like Caleb is finally learning to relax. He's taking a deep breath for the first time ever, and letting himself submit. Then, when he's rested a bit, he can explore being dominant (and he TOTALLY will) 💞💕💞
