1940s/1950s spy velcinta au concepts!! cinta’s hair was based off of some various actresses’ hairstyles in the 50s and vel’s is a mix of more traditional male short hairstyles and a bit of a greaser look

Anyway since I’m here, I rewatched one of the Andor s2 wedding scenes recently for who’s-where fic purposes and here are some things I had not spotted before:

- everyone smiling or cheering or applauding, except for Stekan Sculdun and the four people there on the bride’s side of the family who all look deeply unhappy. Perrin does not look like this is the fun party opportunity of his dreams.

- Vel takes Mon’s hand after Leida and Stekan go past

- Erskin standing with the family at the head of the line and not wherever the staff are (despite hanging around sorting out parking issues for people earlier) which fits wonderfully with my current fic planning thank you show;

- the drinks they’re holding are all the bright orange drink which Mon drinks shots of later, which on set I believe was actually Irn Bru. Scottish cultural victory!

I just started watching Season 2 (currently 3 episodes in) and I just wanted to say that she is babygirl and nothing bad better be happening to her. I'm going to cling to the hope that, even though she doesn't show up in Rogue One or beyond, it doesn't necessarily mean that she has to be killed off...right?

honestly my favorite thing about andor was how important the women were to the rebellion. you don’t have luthen without kleya. their main agents are vel and cinta. you don’t have aldhani without them. you don’t have cassian without bix and maarva. you don’t even have the alliance without mon. none of this exists without the women and that’s so so important.
