Wow...um. Gotta give Tod & Cheque credit, they really commit for their NSFW scenes. Holy shit.

Ok, thoughts, actual thoughts!

What can I say, I have a soft spot for low budget with a lot of heart, and this hits that. I saw someone mention folding laundry while watching, and yeah, it's a good show for that. It's slow and clunky at times. But there is some genuinely good acting, and there seems to be some real care put into it.

I really liked the themes. How forgiveness takes real work. How if you want your relationship to work, you need to communicate. How keeping things from your partner is not love, and true commitment means being willing to lean on each other. How work can be important but it should never be more important than people. How you need to be careful not to take someone for granted when you've been together a long time. That taking someone as a partner means being their family, and you need to be able to put them first.

It's not going to make many end of the year lists, but I enjoyed it all the same.

Listen those brothers will fuck in front of god, jesus, and each other. Janus is fine with some dining room sex when Venus is home and can walk down quite literally at any moment "he sleeps late" my guy you were not exactly quiet.

And then Venus and Sky just fuck in the living room in front of those three massive windows no blinds no shades no nothing. I was fully expecting Janus and Bomb to walk in on them but then I realized they would see what those two were doing long before making it into the house.

I really, really like that Venus is actually sticking to his own morals and hurt and not giving in to Sky. It makes me so happy after so many shows of instant forgiveness. He is gonna make him work and when they do finally move forward together it's going to feel like Sky earned it. I love that. Watching him reject Sky again and again brought a smile to my face. Beautiful.

Now I just want to give a extra special shout out to the show I Feel You Linger In The Air, because unfortunately I did not finish this show NOT because I didn't like it but purely because I got too busy around the time of airing, I started it late got caught up then got behind like twice and just have yet to go back to it BUT I certainly will (I believe I left off ep 8) I whole heartily believe if I did finish it it would be on my main list probably top 5 even but I didn't just want to put it on my main list on a hunch but I also didn't want to not mention it at all cause I LOVE LOVED what I did watch myself plus what I watched through Tumblr posts

I love how Vee finds Sky’s antics amusing but he’s still mad at him, so he hides and surpresses all his smiles. But they’re slowly coming out more and more as his heart opens back up.

So, I watched Venus in the sky and I have to say, I really enjoyed it.

It is a cute little story without a lot of unnecessary angst and there is literally no villain.

There is of course a little bit drama, but it’s more about trust than lack of love. And it’s justified, you have to put a lot of effort to gain trust that was broken once.

Even though most of the plot is based on everyday life of the characters and literary in every episode they are putting goods on the shelves in 7 Eleven and delivering things to clients and stuff like that, I was not bored at all.

It’s that kind of story that put you in ease and relive everyday stress. Just a couple of likeable characters living there life.

I just think it’s kind of a comfort series and I’ll be watching it again sometimes. The relations between characters, even the purely non romantic ones like between brothers or friends are quite devoted and just good to watch. And the chemistry between romantic partners are believable.

Overall, it’s a cute little series and I really recommend to give it a chance.
