ty ty o7 ive been itchin to take a good look at the townies, it's a damn pity they didnt get that much screentime. all i got for now is edgar, hope you dont mind.

The Basics:

this is a grown man, more or less.

he's 19 at the youngest; out of your typical school age even if he couldve gone to the academy.

of course, it's stated his parents couldn't afford to send him.

ergo, he probably didnt go to highschool at all, and just went straight to work supporting his family n shit.

until he got old enough to get kicked out of the house and live on his own, anyway.

his life is pretty shit. his house is pretty shit. his work is pretty shit.

lots of blue collar work. a number of odd jobs, mostly muscle labor, and/or janitorial/sanitation.

his latest, i want to say, is mixing paint.

he seems to be fond of chemicals to say the least.

(note: he wears steel-toed boots. if you peep his model you'll find a hole on the top of one exposing the metal, presumably from where some acid dripped on it or something)

anyway dear god, does he absolutely loathe his life, the town, and pretty much everything around him.

and that loathing was exactly what gary needed to manipulate him.

Expanded Lore:

wanna know his favorite media of all time? number one comfort, number one thing he's made into a core part of himself?

the half-life series.

the soundtrack, the atmosphere, the orange.

the fact gordon was more or less just some blue collar guy, not a scientist, that got to shoot everything the fuck up.

he absolutely has the fattest crush on alyx, on that note.

anyway edgar sleeps with a crowbar like its a teddy under his pillow.

like most of the townies, he's got at least one or two screws loose.

admittedly he's not even particularly their 'leader,' they're just his friends and he happens to be fueled by his general rage.

he works out a decent bit, usually while fantasizing about beating the shit out of aliens or cops or god knows who else.

sometimes zoe sits on him while he does pushups.

they're besties btw, shes like 2 years younger than him.

he hooked her up with a job, spends the after hours talking shit n drinking, maybe huffing paint thinner, they're menaces.

zoe, ofc, hit him upside the head when she came to know he was beating jimmy up with metal pipes, but that was deserved.

aside from the metal weapons thing, he has a good deal of respect for honest fighting prowess.

even in his boss battle, the fumes of the chem plant affected him too.

similar to the greasers, that's why he just decided jimmy was cool after getting his ass beat.

on that note jimmy wasnt 'above' the townies in any way after kicking his ass, they were more or less on equal ground.

edgar and some of the others could Kill him if they really wanted to. but for the most part nah their relations were built on a general respect.

bullworth was a dump, and if that stubborn pipsqueak wanted to make it a better place?

more power to him.

Проснулся я не выспавшимся, всё ещё болеющим и крайне уставшим, но состояние сейчас намного лучше, чем вчера, что уже неплохо.

Я быстренько перекусил и решил уже идти в техникум, но тут... БАМ!!!!! Снег!... Было крайне неожиданно, но всё же я пошёл на учёбу, а по дороге в моём наушнике (второй сломан) у меня играли темы из ФростПука (Frostpunk), и мысли, если их соединить в один вопрос, были примерно такими: «Снег в апреле? Интересно, это какой-то намёк на то, что нас ожидает ледниковый период?»

Обожаю Frostpunk, но вот то влияние, что он оказал на меня зимой..... Оно немного так пугает и нагнетает!

Появилась ли у меня шиза из-за снега и того, что я болею? Скорее нет, чем да, ибо моя фантазия крайне отбитая!....
