Not me stepping out of burnout with two new robo-men designs, nuh-uh.

I wasn't planning on giving my skeleton paladin Birch the Transformers treatment and turning him into a Knight of Cybertron, but here we are x'D It's mostly for @stankychee and also her fault cuz the Knights of Cybertron are cool and she loves skele-Birch (as do I!).

Voidshift has been giving me brain rot for a while now but I didn't have the time to get him out of my head and onto the canvas due to a very busy July month, but today was the day! He's my mad and nasty mnemosurgent man.

Both designs and characters are still a huge WIP and may be subject to change. At least they are out of my head now.

So essentially I’m voidshiftive (basically a type of genderfluidity described as a shapeshifter limited by mortal flesh), and the forms I take present with different names. That’s what this spreadsheet is about

I took inspiration from Irish, Greek, Latin, English, and Slavic languages as inspiration for the names!

my headcannon is that Xisuma is a Voidshifter! It's a species of my own that are related to the Ender Dragon, originating from the depths of the Void.

They are able to live indefinitely and grow as long as they aren't killed or anything. The name 'Voidshifter' means exactly what it is - a Void Shifter - and going back to their relation to the Ender Dragon, Voidshifters are actually dragons themselves, usually wingless and very fluffy. They can shift from being their natural form or their player/human one.

Xisuma wears his Doomguy-esque armor to cover up all that mob stuff that still shows even when he's a player. Examples of features include: purple scaled appendages (because we love purple here), claws, a very fluffy, black, lion-like mane, his own stubby little horns, the fangs, and scaly, cow-like ears, as well as his tail and his four eyes - with both pairs being symmetrical on his face.

Nobody knows how he manages to hide his tail or mane, he just does. He's just a sweet little British lizard guy who's about 7 feet tall - totally normal! 8]

Definitely has 'looks like a cinnamon roll, is a cinnamon roll' type energy (although, he might possibly be sprinkled with a little sarcasm...)

I made a new gender: Voidshiftive!!

Someone who feels as though their actual body is a prison, that their gender is a void that changes like a shapeshifter changing forms, as a type of genderfluidity. They may not always be able to pinpoint what gender they are at the moment, and may express it through dress, names, pronouns, art, or other factors. Sometimes, the person may switch through some genders and never use them again, or may have the same gender through each form they take. Forms can change based on what gender you are at the moment. Being a girl and agender is a different form than vampiregender and girl for one voidshiftive person, or a similar form for others for example.

Dark purple: xeno fem person

Light purple: fem person

White: gender neutral

Light pink: masc person

Dark blue: xeno masc person

The symbol represents the shaped form altering

So happy to make this!! I've been struggling so long with my gender, and I think I've finally discovered it. If you have any questions I'd be happy to answer them to the best of my ability! OwO

The want to write fanfics is on the brain. Problem is, I don't know what to write about because my inspiration has been catapulting all over the place and is still trying to settle. Too many ideas yet none to pick from x'D

It's gonna be about robots for sure, that's the main brain rot atm. I'm not even going to be apologetic about it xD I just need to settle on who, when and what. Guess I'll let it stew for a bit longer; too many options.

I also have some short comics to start and finish (featuring Starflare and some members of the Lost Light crew), and finish up a few OC designs that are still floating in WIP space like Birch, Rook, and Voidshift.

But writing is something I've missed and want to do again.

Preconceived Notions vs. Voidshift

Hey guys, someone asked a question earlier on Ao3 about Voidshift and the AU’s relation to Preconceived Notions, and I thought I should share the answer here too.

Also, I got fanart!!! @vento-store​ drew Gull and Verity, and it’s really cute! I love it!

For those of you who may have scrolled down far enough on this blog, you may have noticed the AU cheatsheet I made titled ‘Voidshift’ followed by a possibly confusing set of names, words, and traits.

That is actually the precursor to Preconceived Notions! In other words, I originally wanted to write a complicated Undertale AU back then with at least one eldritch horror involved and came up with Voidshift. 

Preconceived Notions uses a completely different AU setting than Voidshift, though some of the plot points are the same as the ones in Gull and Verity’s original AU. I won’t be going more into that until I get farther along with Preconceived Notions, though. (I don’t want to give away spoilers!)

If you want more on that, pretty much a few days after I started planning Voidshift, I discovered Vindictive Care by vindictiveskeletons (now known as @a-non-ymouswriter​ ) and liked their ideas so much that my original plan was completely derailed. In the end, Preconceived Notions was created instead!

I still plan on going back to work more on Voidshift when I get the chance, but currently my focus is on continuing Preconceived Notions and working through some other fandom events to improve my writing.
