What exactly is a power surge?
The power coming from a standard wall outlet is 120-volt AC power. However, the voltage is not constant at 120 volts; it can range between 0 and 169 volts. The voltage during a destructive power surge exceeds 169 volts.
What Causes Power Surges?
During power grid switching, an electric utility company can cause power surges. They can also occur if a neighboring transformer or transmission line malfunctions. Lightning strikes can cause some of the most powerful power spikes. Surges can also happen in the house. When a high-powered electrical appliance, such as an air conditioner or refrigerator, is turned on or off, a minor power surge can occur. Because the motors and compressors in these appliances take so much energy to turn on and off, the momentary power demand disrupts the electrical system's steady voltage flow.
How Do Power Surges Affect the Environment?
A voltage increase over a device's typical operating voltage can result in an electrical current arc within the device. The heat produced as a result of this can harm the electronic circuit boards and other components within the gadget. Major power surges, such as those caused by lightning strikes, have the potential to cause permanent damage in an instant. Smaller surges, such as those generated when your air conditioner cycles on, can inflict hidden damage in little increments that add up over time. They may not completely disable an appliance, but they can significantly reduce the usable life of any item.
What Are the Symptoms of a Power Outage?
A power surge may cause the following symptoms in your appliance or device: The clock or lights on the device are flashing. The device is turned off or does not function. An unpleasant, burnt odor emanates from the device or power source.
A surge protector or power strip may need to be reset. How to Protect Your Appliances and Electronics from Power Surges. You can't control what occurs outside your door, but you can keep what's inside safe. Investing in a good surge protector, also known as a surge suppressor or surge diverter, can help safeguard your home against power surges.
Voltage spikes are safely diverted to the ground by a surge protector rather than entering the sensitive circuits of your appliances or equipment. Choosing the Correct Surge Protector. The sort of surge protector you choose will be determined by how you want to use it and what you can afford.
Whole-house surge suppressors, also known as panel-mounted surge suppressors, connect directly to your home's fuse box and stop electrical surges at the source. The price is dictated by the suppressor's power capability, which is measured in joules, and can range from $50 to several hundred dollars.
Power strips with surge protection are the most prevalent and cost-effective type of surge prevention. Surge-protected power strips are rated in joules, so selecting a model with the right rating for the appliances you're protecting is critical. Surge protectors range in price from 400 to 600 joules, with higher-end protectors rated at 1,000 or more.
Surge protection is not available on all power strips, so choose wisely. TVSSs are hardwired directly into one of your home's outlet boxes and can provide exceptional safety for anything hooked into them. Different models will offer varying amounts of clamping (300-400 volts) and capacity (290-900 joules).
They have a light or an alert that indicates a power surge. They will continue to operate following a surge, but their capacity may be limited. Depending on the capacity, amperage, and lights/alarms, the average cost ranges from $25 to $100.

MOTH AND LOPER!! YEAH!!! ft. @heavenhearst under the goggles... The mindspike articulates and is motorized... it gave up the goat literally as soon as the cosplay contest ended, lol Did not get to finish the lenticular film glasses in time, but such is life!!!! We got 4th place honorable mention in the group costume contest so i am pretty happy :) further thoughts and WAY more images below!
loper thoughts we know from the game that Loper is in some kind of hazard gear, so i gave them the jumpsuit (in the tradition of ellen ripley, real astronauts, and ghostbusters) as opposed to a labcoat or anything like that. we took in the waist to make it fit better. i think with the mindspike on, it made the resemblance even stronger.... these ghostbusters did not quite get why i was so amused at taking a photo with them, but i think this is a pretty good image nonetheless.

observin' makes me feel good! and speaking of the mindspike: this is my first time working on anything to this level-- I am not a robotics person! hell of a learning experience & i already have plans for version 2. mindsci i am not but i think i did pretty ok... the spike has two controllers: a modified slotcar controller & a separate knob that sits in one of the pockets (controls left/right axis). the other knob is pretty discreet and allows for puppeting the spike without a bright yellow Device in my hands. the RCA jacks on the back hooked up to Moth's laptop, so for photos it looks like they are hooked up to the spike and taking readings.
the claw was made nearly 1:1 to the game model to save on time and weight. con crunch wahoo! some extras: i put together fake 'e-paper' displays for our ids. if you have seen my prior posts, these will look familiar! i had a blast designing a seal for the FBX and a layout for these ids. i wanted to give them a better finish (hide the obvious 3d printing), but.. time crunch.. oops... the Moth id also has a little incandescent bulb in it, though I have no photos of it active. for my gloves, i intended to use gloves for high-voltage electrical work, but i was allergic to the latex, so i grabbed some dishwashing gloves off amazon and glued the label to them, hehe.

shoutout to the tf2 medic who was wearing the same pair of gloves! moth thoughts for moth, we had the benefit of the wonderful official cosplay by Shaman-- which you can see all over corru.store! (thank you shaman for the pointers!!!) Heaven thought it would be fun to take him in a more "I'M IN!" direction, so our Moth has painted nails and fingerless gloves and a great big coat over his button-down and slacks. complimented with some pins from hot topic and i think he assembled a pretty comprehensive vibe! i made the goggles out of some blue LEDs, rice paper, and a pair of costume goggles off Amazon. they are entirely opaque. moth is just such a gamer he knows exactly where everything is anyway.

you can also see the FBX patch that is present on both our Loper and Moth!
everything else wtf you read this far? cool! i don't really have anything else to add... but maybe you will see Loper at Supercon Miami in 2025.... only time will tell.....

How to Build a Small Solar Power System - Low-tech Magazine
Readers have told me they like to build small-scale photovoltaic installations like those that power Low-tech Magazine’s website and office. However, they don’t know where to start and what components to buy. This guide brings all the information together: what you need, how to wire everything, what your design choices are, where to put solar panels, how to fix them in place (or not), how to split power and install measuring instruments. It deals with solar energy systems that charge batteries and simpler configurations that provide direct solar power. Conventional solar PV installations are installed on a rooftop or in a field. They convert the low voltage direct current (DC) power produced by solar panels into high voltage alternate (AC) power for use by main appliances and rely on the power grid during the night and in bad weather. None of this holds for the small-scale systems we build in this manual. They are completely independent of the power grid, run entirely on low voltage power, and are not powering a whole household or city but rather a room, a collection of devices, or a specific device. Small-scale solar is decentralized power production taken to its extremes. Most of the work in building a small-scale solar system is deciding the size of the components and the building of the supporting structure for the solar panel. Wiring is pretty straightforward unless you want a sophisticated control panel. You only need a limited set of tools: a wire stripper, some screwdrivers (including small ones), and a wood saw are the only essentials. A soldering iron, pliers, and a multimeter are handy, but you can do without them.

Taste of sin 🍎
Warning MDNI⚠️: Sexual themes, language, violence, bondage , angst etc
Synopsis: mc reunites with Caleb but something feels…off.
Like, comment, share for more lads content✨
Want a part 2? comment below⬇️
w.c: 2.k
Your breath hitches, mouth gaping with shock as a ghost stands before you. Caleb. The same Caleb who’d walk you to school and fight off bullies. The same one who wiped your tears and bandaged your wounds because you were too clumsy. The same eyes, hair, and smell. But something was different. He’s changed. His stare was glazed over, as if looking through you. His past friendly smile now a cold grimace.
What happened to him? You think, wrist burning from fighting against the cuffs locked securely around them.
The legs of your seat scratch the wooden floor beneath you. “Caleb?! You’re alive!” You cry wanting nothing more than to burst free and wrap him in a hug so tight he’d bruise. Could this mean grandma was alive too? Did he save her? Your mind races with endless scenarios of them both being safe and sound. He slithers around you like a serpent, scanning your every breath and movement.
The cool leather of his gloved hand brushes your neck ever so slightly. “So you haven’t forgotten me.”
“No, no never. I thought you were gone…”
He cuts you off. “And you didn’t even see for yourself. You blindly took the word of your precious Hunter association.” He says the words as if they’re rancid.
Your eyes plead with him, thoughts racing with conspiracies. “Why wouldn’t I? I saw the team pull your body from the rubble.”
“Tch. Now that can’t be true considering I’m standing right here in front of you. Tell me, did you help them plan this? Cooperate and you won’t be harmed.” You feel a cool mechanical item press behind your ear. A faint shock zaps your sensitive flesh just enough to make you hiss.
“Caleb,That hurts!” you pant.
He pulls the device away, walking around to face you once more. Using his evol he yanks a chair forward before sitting down directly in front of your knees. You can see it now, the black weapon that delivered the shock. His slender fingers run along the length of it, your chest rises and falls.
“Talk or I’ll up the voltage. Are you working for them?”
Your eyes dart wildly from your restrained state to your childhood companion who’s supposed to be dead. “I am a hunter. Of course I work for them Caleb! You know that.” He pushes the head of the rod to your thigh. “Last chance.” You shake your head, lip quivering. His brows raise and he nods to himself before pressing the button, this time it’s far worse. Your thigh tenses as pure electricity is delivered into your bare leg. You chose the Worst possible day to wear a skirt.
A scream of pain rips from your throat. Your head hangs with exhaustion, sweat sliding down the nape of your neck. Your thighs tremble with aftershock. He growls and shoots to his feet, his evol loses control for a moment and sends the chair flying into the wall. His gloved hand grips your jaw harshly, yanking your eyes to him. “How could you betray me, y/n! Do you have any idea what they did to me?! Cut and pried me open like a fucking lab rat!” Tears well in your eyes, your brows scrunching in confusion and sympathy. Someone hurt Caleb. Why would they do that?
“W-who hurt you?” You manage to whimper despite his hold on your jaw. His eyes widen, a flicker of vulnerability peeking through before it quickly clouds back over.
“You know who. They wanted to harvest my Evol and you helped them. Lured me back into that house. Abducting me Is one thing but…Josephine? She practically raised us! How could you do that?” He throws your face to the side with disgust.
“You think I started that explosion?! I was right beside you Caleb!” You sob, unable to believe these accusations.
He whirls around to face you, hand rubbing his chin. “You may not have lit the flame but you stood with them And watched us burn.” His clenched fist shakes. You thrash around. This wasn’t Caleb. It couldn’t be. You have to escape and get away from this imposter before he kills you.
“Trying to run?” He flicks his finger down and an invisible crushing weight forces your feet to the ground. “Looks like this kitty needs a bell.” He saunters over to a place out of your line of vision. When he comes back into frame he’s carrying something bionic and circular. Is that…a collar?
“Don’t do this Caleb! It’s me. y/n. Pipsqueak, remember?” You desperately try to get through to him. He doesn’t budge. His gaze cold as he bends down to buckle the collar tightly around your neck. A red light beams from it. A detonator maybe? Every swallow caused it to squeeze and choke you.
“No. You died with Josephine in that fire. The girl I knew…she’s gone. Replaced with a greedy monster. How much did they pay you, huh? Was it worth the price of our lives?” His hand clamps down on your shoulder, his hot breath fanning your ear. “Did you even miss me?”
You whimper.
“Shh no crying. This is supposed to be a happy reunion.” His hot slick tongue snakes out to lap away a stray tear falling down your cheek. “tastes like sin.”
You tremble under his touch, your words trapped by the collar around your neck. “My very own Eve…tempted by the apple and tainted by blood.” His whispers, the invisible force parts your knees suddenly. His leather clad finger brushes down the length of your body till settling at the hem of your skirt. You wiggle, breath coming in cropped pants. This wasn’t your Caleb. It was impossible.
“Caleb, I swear I’d never betray you. Let’s figure this out together. We’ll take down the people that hurt you.” The muscles in your legs stretch from the force of his evol keeping them pried apart.
His laugh is devoid of humor. ” Why would I trust you?”
“What can I do to show you?” Your eyes blaze up at him with conviction.
“Would you be willing to prove your loyalty?” He breathes, kissing the crown of your ear. The room is chilly, goosebumps raise on your skin. The only thing keeping you warm is the closeness of his solid uniform clad body. His badges prick the skin of your back as he presses against you. Were those honorable or had he done something horrific to achieve them.
Your brows bunch in confusion. “Prove it, how?”
“Surrender yourself to me.” That mischievous finger slips under the cover of your skirt and rubs circles along your inner thigh. “I’ll only touch you…if you want me too.”
Perhaps your head was fuzzy from lack of oxygen but you did want that…very badly.
“I-I want you too.” You pant.
He inches closer to your heat. “What a naughty girl…begging to be punished for her betrayal.” The tip of his finger rubs the damp crotch of your panties. Your back arches in the chair, bound hands struggling to no avail. You were trapped and at his mercy. He presses hot open mouth kisses down your neck and shoulder as he explores you. Without warning he tugs your panties to the side and pushes your aching button. You cry out and try to force your legs shut—his evol works against you leaving you spread wide for him.
There was nothing to be done. All you can do is take it.
“Now that you’ve fallen into my trap…there is no escaping my little prey.” His long finger traces the split folds of your cunt, rubbing your arousal around your slick throbbing bud of nerves. Your cheeks are flush and breathing labored. He rubs in fast tight circles, your hips buck against the wooden seat. Small whines fall from your lips as he teases your most sensitive area. Just as you feel that familiar pressure build up, he pulls away. You don’t see it but you hear a popping noise as he sucks your nectar clean.
“So responsive. Let’s do an experiment and see if it’s the same in other places.” You’re still reeling from his assault on your clit when his strong veiny hands grip the collar of your shirt and rips it open. Buttons fly all over the space from the aggressive act. The air hits your warm bare breast. It wasn’t like you not to wear a bra but unfortunately you hadn’t had time for laundry due to an overflow of wanderer incidents. “What a nice surprise.” He groans, cupping your chest with both hands and kneading the plush flesh. Your nipples are hard against his palms, the feeling makes his cock pulse inside his black pressed pants.
He drops them, admiring how they move. He walks around and kneels on the floor adjacent to you. You’re a mess, flushed, legs wide open, clothes ripped and restrained. truly a vision to behold. His rough calloused thumb runs over the tight pebbled nub, making you hiss. He rubs his finger back and forth over your sensitive peak, a hot blush creeping up his ears.
“They’re even better than I imagined.” He moans, leaning forward to flick his warm wet tongue over it. Your head falls back against the chair as he sucks at your needy nipples. His lips are soft and you wonder how they’d feel to have wrapped around your clit. He rotates between licks and sucks, his finger pinches and rolls the other giving it just as much attention. The popping and slurping noises are incredibly lewd. By the time he pulls away your body is like putty. But he isn’t done with you.
You gasp as he plunges his lengthy finger inside your slimy hot channel. He doesn’t give you time to adjust before he starts pumping in and out at a feverish pace. Your insides squelch and clamp around him hungrily.
“This pussy is just as greedy as you are, my little sinner.” He growls, adding a second finger. The stretch is intense. He curls them deep within, rubbing at the ridged nodule hidden deep inside your canal. You bite your lip to keep from screaming. Your walls flutter around him as he massages your G Spot with ease. You’re slumped in the chair now, hips jutted forward at the edge of the seat like a bitch in heat—seeking solace in his touch. Your sweet cream trickles down his palm as he thrust in and out harder, faster.
“Your clit is so hard, begging to be sucked. Unfortunately for you, only good honest girls can make use of my mouth.”
“Ah ah please Caleb! Too much. So…close” your eyes squeeze shut as your orgasm approaches. Your hips raise and thighs tremble as you spray milky fluid all over his hand and uniform. He extracts slowly, using his clean hand to grab your face hard and the other to shove his slick fingers past your lips.
“Taste your sin. Isn’t it sweet?”

Moltendreams - Error Sans Alias - Static Pronouns: he/him, they/them Personality: Petty, holds a mean grudge, Big Tsundere, Complete Shut-in, Quick Tempered and Moody, fanatic with his interests, externally aggressive when in actuality he is quite shy. An absolute troll. His favorite passtime is messing with others. Paradoxically touch starved and suffers from haphephobia. Reckless with his own well being.
This variant of Error is capable of both love and compassion, he just hides it under a grumpy exterior and several layers of denial and self-destructive dogma. Other Notes:
Reluctant to harm Papyrus directly, though Static can't articulate why, and will generally avoid encounters Papyrus in any given AU.
Had a good relationship with his dad/W.D Gaster, actually.
Relates to "pest" pets; rats, mice, snakes, spiders, beetles, he loves them all.
Would have a pet rat of his own if he wasn't afraid of it shocking itself by chewing on his wires.
His favorite kind of chocolate is mixed with a hazelnut filling.
Views Frisk as a younger sibling.
Into Parkour.
-More Info undercut! -
Abilities: Static uses wire instead of string. Wire and summoned attacks can and do hold an electric charge. His presence alone messes with electronic devices. Residents of a particular AU may get a few minutes or seconds of warning as sweaters get staticy, computer screens glitch out, and anything with a battery spontaneously dies or gets super charged. By creating a circle of alternating RED and CYAN bones, Static creates a sort of reverse faraday cage. While Static can produce electricity, he can't directly control the voltage. He can only hope to direct it. The voltage of a charge is directly influenced by his emotional state. If you touch him, you will find his clothes zappy with static. Do NOT attempt to fight him in humid or watery environments for, hopefully, obvious reasons.
About: Static originates from a pre-Pacifist timeline that was followed by a looping Genocide Route. Through repetitive iterations, and an escalating instability in the timeline, the monsters of the underground began to recall events they didn't witness and memories they shouldn't recall.
Working together, Static, at that point still Sans, and Alphys were able to pin point the root cause of their timeline's instability. They made a plan to save the underground and separate Frisk from the Anomaly but when it came time to execute their plan something went catastrophically wrong. As a result Sans was torn from reality, and caught in the space in-between. Eventually, he escaped but not unscathed. Static has vague conflicting memories of his past, and to this day, questions if any of it was real. He can't find his original AU and secretly fears it may have been the first world he destroyed. He is still looking for it.
Outcode Politics: Static views all outcodes the same way he views every iteration of the original timeline that even slightly deviates: as glitches to be terminated. Bugs in the code he needs to hammer out before it all goes to hell. Static believes that by destroying deviating timelines and AUs, he is preserving the stability of the original. He is “saving’’ it from corruption by trimming the branches back. Despite his position as the self proclaimed Destroyer, Static is not above biases and making exceptions.
Static includes himself on his long list of glitches in the code to be terminated. Static has a different view on the Spirits of Creation that Fable/Ink does. (Spirits of Creation are the in-universe term and stand-in for the creator of an AU). He calls them eldritch parasites. Abominations that should be avoided at all costs. And absolutely should not be encouraged or interacted with. Though he won't admit it out loud, Static is terrified of them. OG Error @.LoverofPiggies/CrayonQueen) Moltendreams @.me Edit: he has been named! Edit 2: revised his profile a bit

i wanna explain how fusée gelée (the exploit used to hack switches) works because it's so stupid. and i hear explaining things helps you understand it better so
The chip in the switch, the Tegra X1, is able to boot from two places, the Internal ROM, which is normally booting up, and through USB in the Recovery Mode (RCM)
To actually run any sort of code or issue any commands or anything, it requires the data to be signed, so that the device can know that the command is issued by the manufacturer and not some random person.
If you send an RCM command with a payload (any arbitrary data), official or unsigned, that payload gets pushed into the switch's memory, so it can be parsed and checked if it's signed/approved. so already there's a large portion of memory which we have full control over, but this section of memory isn't useful at all if it isn't signed.
You can send a normal USB commands as well, which doesn't require any verification, such as GET_STATUS, which if requested, sends back 2 bytes of data saying the status of the device.
In that request, you can also set the maximum length of the response. USUALLY this is supposed to send back data which is this size or SMALLER, however when the X1 gets this command, it will try to send the EXACT size. If you GET_STATUS, and say "max 4 bytes," it SHOULD send back 2 bytes, the length of the status variable, but the X1 instead sends 4, reading the memory which appears after the status variable.
The status variable has to be copied into a buffer which the USB host can directly access (a Direct Memory Access, or DMA buffer), so it copies, from the beginning of the status variable, the "max length" amount of bytes. Directly. No checks or anything. The maximum length you can set for a USB request is LARGER than the DMA buffer, so it will copy whatever is in memory after the status variable into whatever memory is after the DMA Buffer.
which includes the entire execution stack. the "This is what's running right now" stack. It will Execute whatever Arbitrary Code is in it.
and so what is in memory after the status variable which will just be graciously copied into it? well that unverified RCM payload which we have full control from earlier of course!
This means we can load ANYTHING that is COMPLETELY UNAUTHORIZED DIRECTLY into executing memory. and this allows you to boot into hekate or whichever payload you want.
of course you could also just. mess with with the voltage while it's trying to check if the RCM payload is official and just get the code to skip the check. thats how the modchips do it lol.
(neither described methods will work on the switch 2)

•Objective Management Display: The arm features a holographic display that provides a detailed version of the communicator’s data, allowing Piers to view mission objectives and tactical data in real-time. This feature minimizes the need for external devices and keeps critical information accessible.
Augmented Reality (AR) Compatibility
•Enhanced Visualization: The arm’s display projects augmented reality overlays, allowing Piers to see additional information, such as enemy positions, weapon stats, or tactical directions, directly in his line of sight.
•Environmental Scanning: The arm can analyze the surroundings for potential threats, detect biological or chemical hazards, and provide alerts for safer navigation through hostile environments.
Electricity Conduction and Control
•Energy Conduit Design: The bionic arm acts as a conductor for the constant electrical energy generated by Piers’ mutation. It includes specialized channels and circuits designed to manage this energy flow, allowing Piers to use his mutation’s electrical pulse without it spiraling out of control.
•Dielectric Structures: The arm’s design incorporates materials that mimic the dielectric properties of his mutated tissue, particularly in the finger joints and bones. These dielectric components help regulate and contain the high voltage his body produces, diffusing excess energy safely throughout the arm.
•Controlled Release Mechanism: To avoid overload, the arm features a controlled release system that allows Piers to release pulses of energy strategically, whether in combat or to alleviate the internal buildup. This system prevents the arm from overheating or sustaining damage from prolonged electrical activity.
Containment and Compression of the Mutation
•Compression Framework: The prosthetic was specially designed by UMBRELLA engineers to act as a containment “net” around his mutation. It includes a flexible, reinforced framework that compresses the mutated tissue, keeping it in check and preventing further growth or erratic shifts in form.
•Adaptive Pressure System: As the mutation strains against the arm, sensors detect any changes in size or energy output, triggering adaptive responses. The arm tightens or loosens as necessary to hold the mutation back, functioning almost like a high-tech brace that adjusts in real-time to maintain Piers’ arm in a stable form.
•Automatic Safety Lock: In the event of a significant spike in mutation activity or electrical output, the arm engages an emergency lock to keep the mutation from expanding. This feature is a safeguard against sudden bursts of energy that could cause the arm to revert to its mutated state.
Dependency and Risks of Removal
•Rapid Mutation Onset: Without the prosthetic in place, Piers’ arm begins to mutate almost immediately, returning to its original, unstable form. The electrical pulse that his body generates becomes unrestrained, emitting a continuous, breath-like rhythm that is both painful and dangerous, with energy leaking through protruding bones and exposed tissue.
•Uncontrollable Pulse: When uncontained, the electrical pulse from his mutation surges in intensity, lacking any natural “closure” or stopping point. This pulse causes rapid fluctuations in his vital signs and risks systemic overload, leading to loss of control over his mutation and putting him at severe physical risk.
Miscellaneous Details
•The arm has a unique serial code engraved on an inner plate, serving as an identifier for UMBRELLA technicians. This code also links to Piers’ personal health records, mutation data, and arm specifications for quick access during maintenance or in emergencies.
•Due to the intense electrical pulses generated by his mutation, the arm is equipped with an internal cooling system. Micro-fans and heat-dissipating channels prevent overheating during extended use, keeping the arm at a safe, comfortable temperature. If the arm overheats, an internal alarm alerts Piers to prevent any potential damage.
•The outer layer is treated with a UV-resistant coating to protect it from environmental damage and exposure. This ensures that prolonged exposure to sunlight or harsh conditions doesn’t wear down the arm’s exterior, making it more durable in diverse climates and situations.
•Designed for various operational environments, the arm is fully waterproof and corrosion-resistant. It functions normally underwater, which is crucial for aquatic missions or when exposed to rain, mud, or corrosive substances.
•The holographic display can be customized to show additional details, such as weather, GPS navigation, or tactical maps. Piers can also set personal preferences, like color schemes or alert tones, for a more intuitive user experience. This flexibility lets him prioritize the information he finds most critical during missions.
•The communicator has an onboard language translator, enabling Piers to communicate with individuals across different languages. The arm’s display shows translated text, and a subtle earpiece can even relay audio translations, making it easier for him to gather intel and negotiate in multilingual environments.

Investigating charge behavior in multilayer OLEDs using a laser spectroscopic technique
High-resolution, full-color display devices like foldable mobile phones and ultrathin television sets use organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). Compared to other display technologies, OLEDs offer flexibility, self-lighting, low weight, thinness, superior contrast, and low voltage displays, attracting considerable attention in recent years. OLEDs comprise multiple layers of organic ultrathin films sandwiched between electrodes, each with specific functions inside the device. During the operation of an OLED device, charge accumulation and light emissions likely occur at the interface of these organic layers. Having multiple layers helps control charge accumulation, charge flow, and light formation, but exposure to these charges and light can damage the organic layers, limiting the life and efficiency of OLED devices.

Depending on the capacity, amperage, and lights/alarms, the average cost ranges from $25 to $100
