       With a critical eye Naminé scanned the manila folders handed to her. Wings, completely invisible once crossing The Other Side, rhythmically flapped as she grew accustomed to walking again, each thrum gently blowing the file papers. 

Kairi Taydem. From what the angel had glimpsed of the redheaded girl, she seemed an easy person to keep watch over. As the mayor's daughter she was raised with manners, and showed respect to everyone she came across. Her intentions were near-always pure, and her soul untarnished by the rust of festering darkness. 

Naminé's wings beat especially hard, nearly propelling her off of the ground. To retaliate she made a loud, 'sneezing' noise, in case her behaviour was discerned as 'odd' by the masses. Once she was sure the crowd she dug through concerned themselves with other affairs she continued her trek, nose buried in the documents. 

Kairi was suitable prey, it appeared, for the malevolent beings on this 'Earth'. Aeris' utmost faith in Naminé had swayed the grand-tiers into allowing her to take on the mission of protecting Kairi, but they had warned her it would be no easy task. She was light. The shadows always loomed behind her subject, snapping at her ankles. The council had given Naminé enough precautionary advice to fill a book, however; she held the precious rules in a sketchbook, stuffed inside of a light blue purse. 

This purse, filled with such heavy burdens, was difficult to lug around. 

Difficult enough, as it would be, to knock the breath out of the unfortunate male also trying to ease through the afternoon rush. Her next 'sneeze' must have been too rough, her wings too air-itchy, and her purse heavy enough to pack a punch when swinging side to side. 

He wasn't her bond subject, and she did have a schedule to uphold, but it would be horrifyingly rude to leave this future Lost-lifer in pain, yes? They deal with enough in the afterlife.
