There was one certainty in this crazy world, there were fae, and summoners. Lawrence and his crew were fighting off some members of the fae guard, horrible enslavers and murderers- in the fae wilds, to escape their onslaught, they'd flee into a nearby portal hoping to lead the villains into a trap.

After a kaleidoscope of colors they'd arrive somewhere, unfamiliar, not knowing a witch was nearby. Lawrence would jump off Andrew's summon - standing his ground before the order's airship.

"...Juno!" The young man would summon a raven haired mannequin like creature, she would roar out, before charging the airship for a long fight.

"Let's get down there and help Lawry." Brooke would start to jump off before Camron would call out. "Wait, there's something else here! Something....powerful!"

This fight had them ridiculously outnumbered and usually that wasn’t a problem until one of the enemies managed to mess up Elektra’s leg. Luckily she managed to strike him down and he was the very last of them. She held it tightly as she looked up. “I just don’t want to weigh you down but if you insist.” Elektra tried her best to stand, letting out a small noise as she moved. Usually she was very stubborn when it came to getting help but the pain was going to get worse as time went on. @walkerofclouds

At the start, he had initially thought he'd misheard her, for surely she didn't genuinely mean a literal nest, constructed from twigs and other material salvaged from the woods nearby. The mental image alone gave him pause; him, crouched like a brooding hawk, in some crude tangle of sticks.

But that flicker of apprehension vanished the moment he stepped through the door. In place of anything wild or makeshift stood a plainly furnished, clean space. It resembled a guest bedroom, simple but unmistakably intentional. A fully made bed sat neatly along the far wall, prepared with evident care, whilst a lamp, a hung painting and other items completed the scene.

Met with mild surprise at this discovery, he lingered in the doorway for longer than intended, taking in the quiet arrangement until a gentle prodding at his side encouraged him to enter. This space didn't host a nest in the traditional sense, but could in fact serve a much more important purpose.

It was the perfect place where a man like him could take to his rest, even if he wasn't used to being offered one.

"...Thank you, for these accommodations." That had in itself triggered debate. 'No' didn't seem to be accepted as an answer, and with exhaustion gnawing at his heels, Miguel didn't feel up to declining for much longer.

"I'll be gone at first light, I promise."

SHIELD often invites the X-men over to collaborate with the Avengers. An attempt to get both teams on good terms before times of crisis. Collaboration events could be anything from dinner together to competitive volleyball tournaments. And always as a display of hospitality, they send a chauffeur to make travel easier.

Agent Roxanne Fury stands idly in front of a transport vehicle, wringing her hands sheepishly. "I know some of you can fly, but it'd be an honor to have you all of you in the transport this time." Although her words are likely influenced by the fact that her favorite X-men are the flying ones.

A flash of lightning lit up the sky as they stood together, stoic witnesses to nature's unleashed fury. Caught up in a storm that was not of their own invention, the thunderer thrived in the tempestuous conditions, feeding off its energy. He could feel the static raise the hairs upon his skin, embracing the familiar crackle of manifested power as it wound itself around his outstretched hands.

He was in his element, and yet he was still left wanting, for reasons he could not parse. In search of answers, he turns to face his fellow lightning manipulator, his eyes alight with a glow that had not been illuminated within him for several months.

"Is it not a wondrous sight, Lady Munroe? To behold such a spectacle." Without use of his hammer, he held no sway over the elements that surrounded them. "Gods, how I miss it."
