I did it again. I'm drunk in front of Loid.
I know I shouldn't but I couldn't say no to Millie! I have to keep a good relationship with my coworkers and learn to act normal. They said that drinking after work is normal!
"Yor? Were you out drinking with your coworkers?"
"Hm? I'm shorry. I… My corwokersh said it'sh nowmal to afterwork drunk. Shorry, Loid… Art you mud?"
"Don't worry, I'm not mad. What's important is that you're not feeling unwell and nothing bad happened."
I nodded slowly.
"O… Okay… I'll make tea-"
"No, let me do it. I'll make for both of us so you can sober up a little. Or do you want to rest now?"
"Tea ish fine. Thenksh Loid."
I watched him.
Do I deserve this man at all? Even when he's tired from work, he takes care of a drunkard wife like me. Maybe I'm the one leeching off our deal. While he's good at everything, I can barely cook and I'm only good at cleaning. Even after many times he's assured me, I still keep on downing myself sometimes.
I love Anya and this family. This place is so warm and comfortable. Especially when…
"Loid?" I called once he's done.
"Yes?"
My mouth stayed silent. I think moments have already passed but my mind is blank. Did I answer at all? I can't remember. But he smiled at me. That, I know he did.
Even when we drank our tea, I couldn't think straight. I don't even know if I talked at all. We were both silent.
As much as I want to stay a little longer, I already finished my tea and it's time for me to rest.
"Tenksh for the tea, Loid. I'll go to my woom."
I thought after drinking tea, I'll feel better. But when I rose from my seat, the world started spinning again and I felt like falling back right away. Carefully walking step by step, I tried to cross my way to my door.
It's wiggling! When did our floor become shaky? No, no, no! To the left, then to the right…
I can't figure out which side I turned to, but the first thing I saw was Loid. He caught me so swiftly and grabbed me by my shoulders.
He's so close to me… It's making me so-
"This way, Yor."
"Hn? Loid? I'm fine. I cam walk. The floor ish jush shakey! I think there'sh earthquake. Be careful Loid!"
"You're just drunk. The floor will be back to normal once you're sober. Don't worry."
And in every step, I started leaning more towards Loid.
His warmth is just so comforting. And his smell… He smells like minty soap. Staying like this doesn't sound bad. Would Loid mind if we do?
No no no no, Yor! He's just your fake husband! Have some respect for his dead wife!
"Yor? Is there any problem? Is something on my face?"
"H-Huh?! N-Nothing!"
I was staring at him?! Yor! You must stop!
Just when I thought we're still far, we finally came in front of my bedroom. Loid opened the door. The time seemed to stop, we stayed there standing.
"Get your rest now. So you can forget this once you're sober." He finally said.
"Furget wha-"
Before letting go, he leaned and kissed the top of my head. He…
He did what?!
"Good night, Yor."
Before I could speak, Loid was already gone.
No way I can forget this, can I?
I changed my clothes and prepared to rest but I could only think of what Loid did. Was that a goodnight kiss? It's normal right? I used to give Yuri goodnight kisses too when he was little. It's normal, I guess…
But still.
This is probably just alcohol, this confusion I'm feeling in my chest. I have been telling myself over and over that whatever I feel when I'm with Loid is simply caused by our situation and the tension around us. But this feeling is hurting me the more I suppress it.
What if it's just me who's only fazed by everything?
I shook off my thoughts and did not dare to go on any longer. If I do, I might as well totally lose my mind and let my words loose for him to hear.

Max strolled around the corner and stopped dead in the kitchen. “What year is it?”
Steve smiled mirthlessly at her and reached for the overnight bag as he sassed, “It’s time to get rowdy.”
“Keep your fantasies out of the communal kitchen,” she accused, but she got overshadowed by the littles’ excitement.
“Wowdy!”
“Stevie! I wanna see Biwwy’s room again!”
“I wanna see Max’s room!”
“Max! Can we see your woom?”
She took a deep breath, resigned to her fate as she magic carpeted them down the hallway to her room. Billy huffed a laugh to himself and decided on some popcorn. He figured Steve was jaded beyond belief of the microwave, butter and salt kind that Family Video sold, so he got the big popcorn pot ready.
Meanwhile, Steve wasn’t kidding about the littles needing a lot of stuff to feel at home. All of Billy’s stuff on his nightstand got demoted to a shelf on the other side of the room in favor of the shoebox going right next to the bed.
Steve’s clamshell soap dish went in the bathroom sink along with his toiletries bag on the counter. Before going back to the kitchen, he knocked on Max’s doorframe. What he found did not surprise him, prompting him to ask, “You starfishes okay in here?”
The littles were jumping over her bed, landing like starfishes on her plush, colorful and quilted comforter. Small Billy got up and exclaimed with a pointed arm, “Stevie! Wook at that! All the shewlls!”
Steve found the shell lamp he meant and frowned a little. “How heavy is that?”
“A lot,” Max said flatly.
Little Steve pointed to a collection of shells in a jar. “Can we see those?”
Max exhaled a reticent, “Uh...”
All heads turned toward the stereo in the living room. Billy turned on a synthwave-rock power ballad to fill up the empty space without it being loud enough to drown out the littles’ voices. Max called, “What’re you doing?”
“Popcorn, shit bird!”
Little Billy and Steve gasped. “Popcorwn!”
Little Steve wiggled his pelvis as he sang, “Pop pop, pop pop pop!”
Big Steve approached the bed to scoop them up in his hands. “There’s plenty of time to harass Max. Let’s make sure Billy’s room is ready for you.”
Whooping voices trailed through the corridor as they arrived to Billy’s room. To Steve’s surprise, their reactions to being in this room again seemed a bit more critical:
“It’s messier than Stevie’s woom. Was it messy wast time?”
“It smwells good. And bad. Mostlwy good.”
Big Steve elaborated, “It’s the beer cans,” and set the littles on the nightstand while he collected the crumpled aluminum discards closest to the bed. He opened one of the windows for a refreshing breeze as little Billy flicked the lampshade on and off, on and off. “You can use that if you need us in the middle of the night.”
Little Billy made an acknowledging sound that Steve couldn’t read, and he didn’t get to ask since Max passed by the doorway and Billy called out. “Max! What’s that?”
She paused and looked down at the colorful pages. “It’s a comic book.”
“I wanna see.”
To her credit, she didn’t seem overly exasperated as she came in to pick him up. From the kitchen, they heard the first kernels explode, eliciting little Steve to celebrate, “Pop pop! Stevie, wet’s go!”
They journeyed back to the kitchen, the Steves in the kitchen while Max sat on the floor with small Billy on the coffee table. He sat under her chin and listened to her narrate, “Wonder Woman, issue 326.”
“What makes her wonderwfuwl?”
“She’s a super hero. She fights for justice and stuff.”
“What’s justice?”
“Keeping bad people from doing bad things, I guess.”
She opened the cover and turned passed the front page of pointless advertisements. She couldn’t help the little smile that warmed her features when Billy exhaled, “Woah...”
“It would probably help to know what happened in the last comic.”
“Therwe’s morwe than one?” he exclaimed up to her.
“Issue 326 usually implies that there’s more than one.”
“Ugh! Too many,” he lamented. “Just put me to bed alweady.”
“It’s amazing, I promise. Sleep if you want to.”
“No! Who’s that?” he ordered, pointing at a character on the page.
In the kitchen, Steve watched from afar, a soft smile on his face as he observed little Billy with Max, and little Steve chitchatting with big Billy on the counter.
“Hey, blueberry peach.”
It took a long second for that to register in Steve’s ears. Then he pointed a look at big Billy smirking at him. “What?”
Billy laughed and set a hand over the lid so it stayed on while kernels made the pot rattle. “What what? Nobody ever asked to see you from the back?”
Clearly not, because Billy watched that visibly process in Steve’s eyes before he looked down, suddenly bashful and smiling.
Little Steve asked in a confused lilt, “Are you putting fwuit on the popcorwn?”
“No, sugar. I just like making Stevie turn pink.”
He gave little Steve a poke to his belly, earning a very similar pink hue to his cheeks and bashful grin as the little man rubbed the spot on his torso. “Siwwy Biwwy.”
Billy soon took the pot off the heat and he and Steve divided the popcorn to make sweet and savory portions. At the coffee table, little Billy stood in front of the open pages in Max’s hands. “I don’t undewstand. Why’d the good guys do that?”
“Because they’re stupid. It was a stupid decision.”
“I don’ wike it.”
“I don’t either, but sometimes writers use stupid as a plot device.”
“Hmph,” Billy hummed in discontent agreement. He startled at the sounds of something hitting the coffee table, vibrating gently through his socked feet. “Huh! What’s that?”
“Popcorwn, Biwwy!” little Steve called as Max moved the comic out of the way for him to see the bowls. Big Steve crushed some popcorn over a dish so they could have manageable bites. Little Steve munched on one while he walked over Max’s comic, striking a pose like the fight scene on the pages.
Little Billy laughed and said, “Do this one,” as he tried to turn one of the pages. Big Billy caught the page and turned it for him. The littles posed with the characters while Max, Billy, and Steve watched a couple of evening shows on the television.
Eventually Max called it a night, and left her comic book on the table. Billy started to pick it up, but his smaller self rushed to stand on top of it, “I wanna know what happens.”
“And I want to lay down,” he countered, pulling small Billy along with the comic. He only paused to offer, “You hitching a ride?”
Little Steve rushed to jump onto the comic, and held onto small Billy when the comic turned into a slide down to big Billy’s diaphragm. The latter pivoted to lie back on the cushions and extended his feet to rest on big Steve’s lap while he warned little Steve, “If you don’t want a headache from reading, mountain climb over to Harrington’s side.”
The little guy giggled as he took up the challenge. “On my way, Stevie!”
Big Steve smiled, “Just hold onto his leg hair - ”
“Don’t do that,” Billy recoiled.
“Wead alweady!” small Billy shouted, similarly reclining between Billy’s chest and stomach.
Big Steve scolded with his hands resting on Billy’s ankles. “Please, B.”
“Pwease!” he obliged, but his tone didn’t sound any different.
Billy felt little Steve walking like his legs were a balance beam. He quickly read through the beginning of the comic, and small Billy certainly made it known when he’d arrived at new story.
Billy did not consider himself a storyteller kind of reader, but little Billy never complained. He crossed his tiny feet or sometimes lifted a leg just to stretch it out. He occasionally pointed to a panel to ask what a word meant, or just to comment on the story in general. Big Billy peeked down at him, thinking he looked more like he were observing the stars than reading a comic.
Little Billy’s voice grew more and more sluggish, words eventually leaving him in favor of mumbled or hummed responses. When Billy got no answer at all, he lifted the comic and whistled at Steve. His head rotated from the television, eyes dropping to the little guy passed out on Billy’s diaphragm.
He then looked down at the upside down sailor’s cap nestled between Billy’s feet and his abdomen. “It’s definitely time for bed.”
Cradling the cap, Steve moved Billy’s feet so he could get off the couch. Billy got a peak at a little, sleeping Steve while small Billy got carefully moved to the nest of the Scoops Ahoy hat.
“Hhmuh?” the little one roused.
“I got you, B,” Steve hushed. “Goodnight.”
“Mmm...” he whined tiredly, but rolled over to spoon little Steve.
As for the bigger Steve, he held the hat out to Billy in offering. “Do you want to watch over their dreams tonight?”
Billy faced him with flattened, puzzled eyes. “You mean kiss them?”
“Yeah, I mean kiss them.”
“I’d rather kiss you.”
Billy grasped the red tails of his ascot and yanked Steve down to him. The sailor cap collapsed on Billy’s abdomen as soft lips crushed against his own. His other hand plunged into the hair on Steve’s nape, causing a delicious, involuntary sound to come from Steve’s chest.
It was good, being reminded of Steve’s mouth. To have the confirmation that he had kissed Steve Harrington, and could kiss him again, as much as he wanted. Billy tasted sweet popcorn on Steve’s lips but Billy’s lips started to prickle from the spice on their savory popcorn. He didn’t mind -
“I gwuess they got big bad dweams to take care of.”
They both froze and looked down at the sleep-disheveled pair staring at them with puffy, tired eyes. Little Billy seemed to be doing complicated math and looked at little Steve. “Can I kiss you wike that?”
“Maybe tomowwow. I’m sweepy.”
“Mmkay,” Billy agreed, the both of them collapsing back in their nest. Little Billy reached for the tiny Scoops hat, pulling it from brown tresses and using it to cover his face from the light.

Osamu
You tried to stifle your giggles as you sat at your home’s dining room table, the sound of childish bickering and hushed laughter coming from behind the closed kitchen door. “I’ll take the plates, you take the flowers,” the voice of one of your little boys demanded. “Nuh, uh! S’ my turn to take the food, I pwomise I won’t dwop it,” the youngest of the two boys replied while you could hear your husband’s quiet snorts in the background. Your face of surprise was ready when the door swung open a few seconds later to reveal your two sons holding onto either side of a plate, your husband standing behind them keeping an eye on them and the food so it got soundly to where you sat. Osamu and you exchanged a soft smile at the sight of your two boys working together with a concentrated pout that reminded you of their father’s as they slowly brought the food over. Heart-shaped onigiris of your favorite flavor plated with sesame seeds forming a smiley face were placed in front of you, the oldest smiling proudly as he boasted about how they made them themselves. You ruffled their hair and congratulated both boys who beamed at your comment on how they were greater cooks than their father. The cook in question sharing a knowing grin with you, both aware that in reality, he had made all the bases while the kids ensembled the shapes. “Happy Mother’s Day!” The two kids hugged you tightly in your chair, climbing onto you as you hug them back, feeling your heart swell with pride at what your husband and you had created. “Happy Mother’s Day,” Osamu said as he walked over to you, his lazy smirk paired with eyes full of love as his rough hand lifted your chin to capture your lips in a kiss. “Eww get a woom!” the youngest one exclaimed, as the older one made gagging sounds, you and your husband breaking apart to share a surprised look as you both chuckled, trying to figure out where the little boy learned that, probably uncle Atsumu. That Sunday at home, as you shared lunch with your three favorite people in the world to celebrate, all you felt was warmth.

Iwaizumi
Your eyes fluttered open at the feeling of your husband’s side of the bed being empty like it usually was early in the mornings, when he went for his run or cooked a healthy breakfast. He had kept this up even since the birth of your little girl, making it a bonding moment between them as he brought her energetic self along. Hajime knew how much effort it took to keep up with work and motherhood along with so many other things, so he loved sharing time with her daughter with the added bonus of it giving you a well-deserved rest. The sound of the bedroom door opening woke you from the gentle slumber you didn’t realize took over you to see your shirtless husband with your 8-month-old daughter babbling happily on one arm, both bathed in the warm sunlight of that beautiful Friday morning. Looking at where your daughter was reaching for before her familiar olive eyes landed on you, you were surprised to find a tray with a fruit smoothie and an omelet along with a bouquet of your favorite flowers. An amused smile appeared on your lips as you raised an eyebrow at Hajime as a form of a silent question. “Happy Mother’s Day,” he said, his voice still groggy and laced with sleep mindfully soft as to not to disturb the peace and quiet that enveloped the three of you like a spell, a love-sick smile on his face. “It’s today? Aww, thank you Haji,” you said wholeheartedly, the idea of this being the first of many years to come celebrating Mother’s Day making you teary-eyed as your husband put down the tray beside you. Giving you a peck, he hummed happily as he delicately took your daughter’s hands and waved them as he exclaimed in his baby talk voice; “happy first Mother’s Day mom, dad thought we should make it memorable.” You giggled at your husband’s antics, which nobody would guess considering his tough exterior. You and your daughter were and would always be his soft spot.
‧͙⁺˚*・༓☾。・:*:・゚★。*✧・゚:˚۰˚☽˚。・:
Kuroo
A huff escaped your lips at the weight of two small bodies landing on top of you on the couch, they had managed to sneak up on you as you were immersed in your laptop propped up in the table in front of you. You and your husband had taken that Tuesday afternoon off to celebrate Mother’s Day, Tetsurou going to pick up your daughter and son from school as you headed home and wait for them there. Between huffs and breathy laughs, the two kids wished you a happy Mother’s Day for a second time that day, and you managed to thank them before you felt a much heavier body pile on top of you three. “Daaad!” The eldest son groaned playfully as he tried to push of your husband who was carefully putting down part of his body weight on all of you. “You’re heavy,” your little girl whined between giggles as she tried to shield herself in your grasp. “Am I heavy or are you three just weak?” You could hear Kuroo’s knowledgeable smirk in his voice, the same one you fell in love with, as you scoffed dramatically in response. “We’re stronger than you Mr. Know-it-all,” you said in a sing-song voice as you started pushing your husband off of you, him only allowing you to when his two kids joined him. Once you had all calmed down you hugged your children and thanked them for the colorful cards and macaroni frames they put all their efforts into making at school. “My turn,” your husband exclaimed with his mouth full as he placed down his slice of cake and plopped down next to you, pulling out a small bag from behind the couch. Inside was a necklace locket, that you opened to reveal a picture of the four of you. “Tetsu, it’s beautiful, thank you,” you said as you hugged him tightly, yet you both knew you weren’t just thanking him for the thoughtful gift, but also for the wonderful life that you had created together. “No, thank you,” he replied, his tone genuine and filled with love as your kids pouted. You spent the rest of the afternoon spending quality time as a family and reassuring your two kids that their gifts were better than their father’s, who cheered them up with his “infamous” science puns, as he liked to say.

Anniversary
It’s missus and harfy’s anniversary and they can’t have a night alone.
“Happy ann...” I was cut off by the door ring, murmuring a curse under my breath, I walk to the door.
Today is me and Harry’s anniversary, 10 years ago we married and make a beautiful family with two child. My older daughter, Mia, who is 8 years old and my 4 years old toddler, wade.
I wanted to surprise Harry today by baking some dinner and a cake, maybe getting some naughty after it , so for this purpose , Mia will stay at her friend’s house for night and well, wade is with granny Anne.
I opened the door, with shock expression “mom, what’s wrong?” Anne is standing on porch with wade in her arms , shaking slowly with tears running down his face.
“I’m so sorry , I know this night is so special for you but I think wade have stomach bugs, he was throwing up and have some fever also. I tried to control it but he was asking for you and wouldn’t rest”
Anne stand at living room giving me guilty look. I know it’s not her fault but I feel a huge disappointment, I was truly looking forward tonight. It’s really hard for us to get a night for ourselves now with these two little monkeys.
“Don’t mom. It’s not your fault” I opened my arms for wade which he throw himself at me. He was truly burning “what’s wrong my little monkey?” Took him to his room as he shakes his head “no, your woom please” he said, refusing to sleep on his bed.
Anne tried to help but it was pointless, I sigh as I walk to our room, putting him on bed.
“Now please drink this baby” I hold the syrup in front of his face as he shakes his head “no,no , I’m good mommy “ wade hates any drug so it’s a struggle when he’s sick. Harry will handle him better these times but now that he’s not here I should be Patient with wade.
“Honey , if you drink it , I’ll tell you a story” I sit beside him as he eyed me and then the syrup “weally? A stowy?” I nod “which one do you like?” He slowly drinks the syrup as he was thinking “black bunny?” He chose his favorite one.
I lay beside him holding him in my arm and fix the wet towel , which Anne brought for me, on his head.
I told him a story and In a moment he was out.
I sigh as I stand up.
Anne was at living room when I got there “I’m sorry if it ruined your night” I shake my head “don’t even think a out it. Things like this happen” she nods “I better get going” she said as I nod , hugging her goodbye.
I still think tonight isn’t totally ruined. Wade is sleep so maybe me and harry can occupy one of the guest rooms. Well better than nothing.
After checking on wade I get back to icing the cake which I was half through it before Anne came.
At evening Harry came.
I twirl for him in my red dress as he whistle. “You look hot baby” He said as he pulled me in his arms , grabbing my butt “shhh, we have to be quite, wade is sleep” he looks at me confused “isn’t he with mom?” I shake my head “he eventually gots sick and wanted to come home. After some soup he fell sleep just before you get here”
He nods “ I’m gonna check on him” I nod “our room” I told him before he gets on stairs, wade has a bad habit of staying in our room when he’s sick or just sad, so it’s not the first time. He shakes his head “no please” I nod, shrugging. It’s his son after all.
I sit and wait at table for him to come down. He comes down looking at the table “wow, look what you’ve done” I shrugged “best for the best husband ever” he pecked my lips before kneeling beside my chair holding my hands on my lap “what are you doing?” I give him funny looks “well I wanted to ask you marry me but I did that 10 years ago, didn’t I ?” I laughed “so it’s true? The way to a man heart is his stomach?” This time he laughed.
Taking out a velvet box , opening it slowly, reliving the most beautiful diamond bracelet “thank you for marrying me and giving me the most beautiful family” I kissed him, putting my forehead on his , breathing him in my lungs “thanks for loving me” he kissed me one more time.
After dinner he played a song in living room, I look at him shocked “you didn’t “ he shrugged like it’s all nothing “I did”
The song he played was the song that was played when we first met. I can’t believe he still remember the song, we just never talked about it.
“I love you harry” he sway me in his arms “i love you more” his face found my neck as he breathes slowly but deeply and I enjoy his warm arms. His lips find my jawline ,just as he was getting closer to my lips , the doorbell rang again. “I can’t believe it” I whispered as he look at me disappointed “maybe it’s mail man “ Harry said hopefully. We both don’t want any guest just this night.
Harry left to open the door , few seconds later he came back to living room with Mia’s hand in his. She was crying her eyes out and gave me a heart attack. “Oh goodness, what’s wrong sweetie?”
She sobs as hugs me “I fight with Taylor, she’s so mean mammy, why is she so mean ? I thought she was my friend, b-but she t-told me, she’s only hang out with me because my parents are famous “ she cry’s her eyes out as I hold her in my arms.
Harry sits beside us on coach “it’s ok sweetie, tomorrow it’ll hurt less” she nods as she looks at us shyly “can I sleep with you Guys tonight?” Harry look at me and then at Mia “of course sweetheart, go get ready for bed, wade’s already there” she nods and runs upstairs.
“What a romantic night so far” he said and I laughed “well it was you who asked to marry and start a family” he nods “well what can I say?” I hit his arm as we walk up upstairs “but I still love you” he told me “well thank you” I answered.
Later at night we were on bed , four of us, holding each other, and fell sleep, what can I ask for more? This is my heaven.

Top 5 Greatest Gloves for Children 2020
Our Beloved Biking Gloves into Tweens for Toddlers Do kids need motorcycle gloves? Cycling gloves serve various purposes based on age and riding environment. Gloves with palms are great for equilibrium bike riders because those ones tend to fall hands. As a result, gloves often provide more protection from bumps and scrapes for balance bike riders compared to knee or elbow pads. For older riders, gloves can help to minimize the effect improve traction and relieve the strain on hands from the grip on the handlebars. Often times, kids really love the appearance and wear gloves. And what about half-finger or full-finger gloves? For toddler and fingers, half-finger is always preferred by us because they are easier to get on and are much less sweaty! Since ones tend to fall on the palms in their palms, their palms don't need any protection. During colder months, nevertheless, full-fingered gloves are worth the hassle of having those wiggly fingers into the ideal finger holes. For older riders, half-finger or full-finger is a personal preference. Gloves that are full-fingers are somewhat more common as kids, like adults, prefer cushioning the added comfort, and grip the gloves provide for their whole hand. While riding, children that are elderly grip with their hand, wrapping all the way around the handlebar grip. As a result is beneficial. During hot weather, however, half-fingered gloves can help prevent hands. Check out our short list of the best cycling gloves for kids! 1. Zippyrooz - Best for Toddlers and Preschoolers MSRP: $14 With cushioning along the bottom of the palm, a absorbent and soft nose wipe, and tug loops in the end of fingers, Zippyrooz gloves are perfect for the riders! The half-finger gloves feature more padding than the full-finger gloves, making them ideal for equilibrium bike riders who are inclined to fall (frequently!) Hands first. Half-finger gloves are a lot more easy to get on, and it is a huge win for fidgety children. And as far as getting them off? With stitched in finger-loops on each glove's palm, our testers easily, and independently were able to eliminate their gloves. Top it off with a nose wipe pad for snotty noses, and we in love with Zippyrooz.

PROS: With on each glove's hands, children can remove gloves by Themselves Fabric is pliable and breathable Pad palms are pliable and soft Nose wipe pad! Offered in full-finger or half-finger Adorable designs for boys and girls Great cost CONS: None! 2. Strider Gloves - Finest for Little Groms MSRP: $20 SIZES AVAILABLE: Small (ages 1 to 3), Big (ages 4 t0 6) For those groms who want the look of big-kid gloves, Strider's gloves would be an ideal match. Skipping on the colorful cuteness factor and emphasizing the"little and mighty" big-kid look, Strider's gloves not only look professional, but they perform great for small riders too. Perfectly proportioned to fit the tiniest hands (they even fit our 1-year-old tester), Strider's gloves are available in two distinct sizes and styles. The small is accessible half-fingered and best match ages 1 to 3. The large is offered in best fit ages 4 to 6 and full or half-finger. While we don't have the dimensions for the large glove, we recommend them for hands bigger than 2.5″ across the knuckles. Besides a great fit, Strider's gloves feature a Velcro opening that is wide for easy on and offs. For additional security, Strider also offers a quality protective pad set that is designed especially to match toddlers and pre-schoolers. A large set of pads and A little can be applied as elbow and knee pads for pre-schoolers. As children grow larger for smaller children and toddlers, the set of pads can be utilized as knee pads then as elbow pads. PROS: Comfortably match the smallest riders (a rare feature!) Velcro opening for easy off and on Offered in half-finger or full-finger Big-kid styling CONS: Only available in white Palm doesn't have much padding to cushion drops 3. WOOM Gloves - Best for Experienced Young Riders MSRP: $19 SIZES AVAILABLE: 3 sizes (ages 4 to 12) Our almost-7-year-old boy tester fits snuggly in the size XS (5), and our 10-year-old woman freshman has comfortably been wearing the S/M (6) for a year. Her brother also fits nicely in the S/M. As the bulky gloves on our listing, our testers loved how WOOM gloves felt, while providing padding and grip to prevent hand fatigue. Available WOOM gloves are super comfy and seem sleek. The gloves feature padding where children need it between finger and the thumb, and on the outer border, although minimal cushioning for better hand dexterity. As they won't do much to cushion a fall, this fashion of cushioning makes these gloves suited to children who won't be falling much. PROS: Comfortable Faux leather interior has no stitching for comfort Stretchy material provides a snug fit with no need for velcro Silicon print on hands provides grip Thicker thumb area, soft can be used to wash dripping cracked foreheads or noses Available in 5 colours CONS: Available in full-finger Small opening will make getting them off and on harder for the riders that are smallest 4. Giro DND Jr. and Youth Bravo - Best for Experienced Trainers For experienced riders that want a mini version of an adult glove, look no farther than the Giro DND Jr. (full-fingered) along with the Youth Bravo (half-fingered). The DND gloves are ideal for the aggressive rider who needs protection and additional gripping power while holding on, or gripping the handlebar while shifting, braking! The DND offers a small pad at the base of the hands under the pinky. The Bravo gloves provide more padding and are half-fingered. Gel padding segments are at the bottom of the fingers and across the base of the palm below the finger and the thumb. Together with the excess padding, the Bravo really are a excellent fit for equilibrium bike riders that are older too. PROS: Synthetic leather palm is pliable and tender Moisture-wicking elongate mesh upper is more durable than other manufacturers and comfortable Velcro closure for easy on and offs Absorbent terry cloth wash on the thumb for noses Tab to help down pull gloves CONS: Thicker inner seams may be"itchy" for some kids 5. woom Winter Gloves - Finest for Cold Weather MSRP: $19 SIZES AVAILABLE: 3 sizes (ages 4 to 12) Our 8-year-old boy tester fits in the Big (7) with enough room to raise and use next year. But if you live in a place with winters, the winter gloves of WOOM are topnotch. Breathable, but with protection against cold, rain/snow, and end, these gloves are also a great option for those chilly autumn rides. Our testers loved the way they kept their hands hot, but not sweaty. They particularly appreciated how simple because the gloves are padded for heat, but not bulky, brake and it was to change. They also seem so cool our children wanted to wear them to school. Really! PROS: Soft and comfortable Keep hands warm without being too bulky Leather and elastic wrist band pull strap for easy on and off Additional padding between thumb and forefinger where hand exhaustion is worst Forefinger and thumb pads are touchscreen-friendly Reflective woom emblem on rear of hands for better visibility CONS: Limited availability 3M Face Mask Toddler Bike Dunkin Donuts Near Me Sock Boots Low Heel Family Dollar Locations Cheap Clear Phone Cases 3M 9501v Mask Dominos Pizza Near Me 8210 3M

❝ Why do people like these things? They’re just shiny rocks. ❞
brooklyn nine-nine sentence prompts | accepting
“I mean, it’s more like what you do with the rocks!” Nodding sagely, he pointed at a rather large shining gem. Probably way too dangerous for two people to be close to, but still, he knew what he could see in his head. It was a nice pink-purple, and he could imagine it perfectly…
“Something clear like this, it’d be the perfect way to display how bright your soul burns,” clasping his hand together, he turns to the, uh, tail-girl!
“You know when you see something, and it’s just all woom, you just have that fixation on it? Something that’s just really beautiful that it makes your chest all warm? It’s probably why people like ‘em. You get one from someone you like, or maybe you just buy it yourself, but now it’s yours and it means something.”

Innerview: Pete Dulin / Present Magazine
January 2007
Art & Photo: DJG
Note: Interview for a Kansas City, MO art and culture blog.
01) How long have you been designing posters and CD packaging/artwork?
If I were to say I’ve been designing this stuff since Mom gave birth, well you might think me to be pompus, new agey and bit queer. However, in the past few years I’ve come to the conclusion that everything I’ve experienced has brought me to this point. Information has been at a constant and consistently carried in the backpack(s). Though, it’s more the matter of channeling that. I’ve always been making things. To put things into a more professional, or “text book” answer, I’m in the sixth year developing a bad back of my own accord. And tack on another four and a half of formal training before that. In which two of those I was making things for people on the side. So, really about 7 or 8 years in a design sense, but only offically five under my DJG belt. So, I’m still a youngster. But, I feel design years add up like dog years. 02) How would you describe your approach or design aesthetic? With certain I have my influences and I’ve had formal training. However, the majority of the time is spent not thinking, rather just doing. And I’m not trying to push athletic shoes. Each day my head gets up different. I am always hungry and eat food the same way. I always put my pants on the same way. I lock the door the same way. I walk the same way. That stuff is all automatic. It’s my head that differs. As the mush upstairs is assembling for the day, my thinking and process(es) tends to come different, though it can all be intuitive to me at the same time. True, somedays I’m not in any shape to win the pennant, nor even give a care about art or design. Yes, I do crank out the work by just doing…and my portfolio is always eating. But, I still feel I’m the laziest guy in my woom, even on a good day. I don’t really consider myself an artist or a designer. I just enjoy the act of making those things but there are moments I just don’t feel like it. When design isn’t doing “it” for me, I read or write or watch things. If I’m not doing anything, I have to be doing something. And I’ve quit the whole notion of actually being something other than just myself. And my self is not always in the mood for me. And I don’t think about a design being good enough to measure-up or anything silly like that. It just has to feel right and true within me. I can tell when something feels forced and without life. For me, the work has to be breathing and has to say something. Now, whatever it conversates to the viewer/audience is all up in the air. It’s always a hoot to hear what others think. Back on the subject of others’ talk of an aesthetic. This is one of the few times I truely think about how I’m doing things. I then start overthinking and that can be a dangerous place. People come to me all the time and say things like, “Oh, you are really great at this and are such a skillfull artisan of the such ‘n’ such…(more nonsense fluff ensues).” This is a complement I suppose, but I tend to take it as a way of them saying that it’s all coming to easy for me. I am my only competition so this is when I start to push myself a bit harder. I’ve got to stay ahead of myself. I like the silly idea of someone doing their best work every day. I don’t know how long I’ll be around, but I hope I’m always doing my best work from my perspective. 03) Historically, society has shifted from the Age of Mechanical Reproduction since the advent of the printing press to the Age of Digital Reproduction. Why is it still important to make a man-made mark on something seemingly short-lived as a band flyer or poster? In taking foundation courses during my first year of formal education we did not use computers. Everything was very basic, hands-on cutting and pasting and drawing fundamentals of design. My friends were complaining about how they couldn’t wait to get on the computer. Personally, I was so naive and so in love with making things by hand (ever since I could remember working my fingertips as a child) that the idea of designing with a computer was not in my vocabulary. I stated to my friends how I was going to take the route of design that didn’t include the aid of computers. They simply laughed at my lunacy. Being that it was the late ‘90s, it was inevitable that we’d be using computers. What’s funny now is that for some odd reason I’ve been able to succeed a bit working with my hands and most of the people I went to school with tire of staring at their computer screen day jobs. I definately appreciate a computer and I use one. But, I think of it only as a tool. I use it as a way to ease production a bit and of course it can be a time saver for layout and print. The problem with computers, the internet and desktop publishing gear is that anybody can be a designer. It’s definately eased things I suppose, but we’ve got people cranking out the most obtrusive visual clutter. I don’t aim to sound arrogant. It’s just that everybody thinks they know what they are doing. Everybody wants the cliche in high-gloss makeup, filled to the brim and in suffocation galore. Why not? We over-consume everything else. It’s just sad to me. I even see trained designers doing it. And most everything just feels so fake and soulless. When I first saw those early cave paintings in grade school text books, something about those expressions just delighted me and it felt right and true. And now when I see graffiti on the wall or a shopping list or letter I just think about the heart and energy behind it all. One of the best things that ever happened to me (with design) is when my computer crashed about five years back and I lost the ability to use 2,000 some fonts. When I had them, I tried to use them appropriately and sparingly. But, they were nothing but a crutch to me. Rarely do I use computer fonts now. If I do there better be a reason or a restraint in my time. I just found it important to really speak honestly with my work. Each day is different and so is my voice and thought. Hand scrawls, handmade type and thumbprints bring forth the idea of a human identity and feels like thought and life was put into the expression. True, if we had the ability to actually see people’s verbal speaking expression there are some voices that would be just plain dull and in the same ol’ font and face over and over. And I suppose at times that would be appropriate. But, just think about the endless images bouncing from each other if everybody’s words, language, expression, feelings and breath stuck around in a clear visual form and of their own signature. That would be incredible. But, I’m sure it would do more harm than good. But, it would definately be something else for people to complain about so then there would be even more imagery because of it! The great artist Saul Steinberg communicated language as marks of visual expression in this way in much of his work. A poster to me is exciting because of the fact that it is short-lived, yet it can be very in-your-face and of the moment. A good poster to me is like a big zit. And a good one will pop and speak all over…let you know that it’s there. It boggles me when people don’t take advantage of this idea. It just seems like people push a duplicator button and paint with boringness and fluorescents over and over. It’s very zombie. (though, zombies could probably make more creative things). In this digital age of people getting information via the web and myspace and cell phones and music players and all that garbage, it’s even more important to get them to focus at things again. I’m all for the internet, but I feel hardly anybody under the age of 35 truely looks at anything in actual form anymore for more than 2 seconds. I am guilty of this too. And this possibly stems from perception of wanting everything bigger, better, faster and right now. These things that are supposed to make our lives easier, yet fill life to the brim and we’re still wondering where our time went. So, it does mean a lot to me when people actually stop and look and think…maybe come back to it again. It’s warming to me when something measley like a concert poster can get somebody to stop their busy life and take notice in a notice. Maybe even get a tickle out of it and a smile in their heart to make their day…maybe even take it home for their own wall. That just means the world. 04) Do you have particular influences in art/design? I used to think you had to have a little man with flash cards or answers written in undershorts for quick draws whenever approached with this question. Anymore I don’t care about impressing people. I touched before on my influence of just existing and growing. I don’t understand it when people find or ape a “style” and milk that into retirement (unless it’s a true and pure speciality like most folk artists, Edward Gorey or Jean-Michel Basquiat). Gosh, I would cut off my hands as opposed to making the same thing everyday until I die. But, I would also do the same to be able to draw or paint like some people. What it is that I do is not something I punch a time card for, nor pound a keyboard to compute my solutions. It is a way of life and life is always changing. Silly, but the only way to stop it from my body is to spill my skull. And then have the bums burn my thumb prints to keep warm at night. I’m blessed to have been raised in a rural environment with a bit of old-fashioned and hands-on approach to things. I wanted so badly to get out of that environment when I was coming of high school age. Now, I really appreciate this aspect of my life. Don’t begin to ask me how I reached into the design grab bag and pulled out this funny-lookin’ rabbit i’m wiggling on. It just kind of happened. Most of it belongs to my always active imagination and having many acres to romp. There wasn’t really a drain plug on what I could do or absorb. Every day my siblings and I were into something new and building our own altered universe from the inspiration of television, movies, tractor pulls, rodeos, demolition dirbies, state fairs…you name it. A great aspect of all of this is that I never really shed any of it. If you could devise a way for me to go back into my time as an eleven-year-old, you bet I would. I feel so many shear that skin as they reach puberty and young adulthood. Even in my late teens when everybody was out dating and all that nonsense, I made myself go to my room and draw and make things. Shoot, I was still building tree houses and playing war (I still do at times). I am constantly fumbling back for it all. I’ve still got most of my childhood things all around me here in my basement club house. I don’t throw anything away. Everytime I go home another bag or two is brought back. The older I get the more I believe my streak stems a lot from my Grandmother on my Dad’s side. I still have many of the things she’s made by hand: fridge magnets, cat head pillow, blankets, book bag. As well as carry the images of wearing bread bags on my feet to school, creating toys out of thread spools, baking and cooking all the time, building forts in the living room, making pretty ladies out of flowers and especially sporting my beloved dead animal backpack (denim with plastic lining for easy blood clean-up). These things sound strange to others, but my world is built from them. She was constantly making or doing (as most of her generation did). I’m a big fan. It’s sad to me as nobody really just makes things anymore for the heck of it. And it’s really sad as she sits and bides her time in the nursing home, limited in her making and doing. I hope my engine breaks from making and doing before I get put in that point. If not, take me to the back forty and shoot me rotten. If somebody were to ask me to place my work in some sort of design bracket…well, I suppose it lands somewhere in the land of Henryk Tomaszewski meets Saul Steinberg meets Lester Beall meets Saul Bass meets Push Pin meets Ray Johnson meets Art Chantry meets Jim Henson meets Folk Art meets garbage in the street…or something like that. It’s really hard to answer that question. Anyway, I get bored with the look of a lot of current design and fashions. Though, there are a few great designers my age coming out of the woods more and more…doing fresh things and in creative ways. I think it stems from growing up in a time of the media of television, film, video games, computers, animation, graphic novels and just the overall mass consumerism of culture and language. And all of these things shaking hands with the idea of pushing boudaries and smothered with a glaze of technology. But, then again every generation is a little bit more ahead of the last…I guess to some degree. I love and appreciate my upbringing and even my access to the culture now. Still, I do wish sometimes I could have lived and designed some fourty, fifty or sixty years back. Though, I’m sure I’d still be in some basement, garnering enjoyment making things the way I want to make them. 05) Does your work relate to the subject matter? For example, do you consciously try to create artwork that suits a band’s music or image? I think some people in the music industry don’t know how to take my work. For one, I feel most of the so-called scene takes itself way too seriously. It’s funny to me, all this playing dress-up and rock star…and especially when it extends into the late twenties and thirties. But, I do suppose some people were just born to be stars. My work isn’t for every person. But, there are a few out there who for some odd reason “get” it and it’s all very flattering of their attraction. It’s even spreading across the country and into other parts of the world. I don’t aim for cool points. I take it serious only to the point of being non-serious. However, when designing it’s important to be held accountable with your client, city, audience, environment, venue, peers and yourself. And I have morals with the world design community, art and design history and with myself. When it comes to marrying my work to a certain band’s music or image…well, what do I have to base on for an image? I have nothing but other designer’s interpretations of where to categorize the idea of what/how a sound or scene should register as. I have an appreciation for the past and present, but I really find it odd when somebody comes to a designer and says they want to play look-alike-dress-up to something already in existence. True, nothing is original anymore and I’m not saying that I’m anything special. Rather, I feel personality helps white wash things a bit and a lot of design these days lacks it (especially in the music industry). These days you can throw a rock and hit many kids making things (music and art). But a large chunk of it seems to be lacking proper development and form…and life. You can’t pick somebody else’s nose and expect to smear those boogers for yourself. You’ve got to earn them. You’ve got to get dirty along the way and find a way to bark, have fun, be yourself and just do things to do them…and then have Mom hose you off at the back door. 06) Pick one of your favorite creations. What do you like best about its elements? First of all, my designs to me are like multiple babies to a mother. Yes, some may look more handsome and pretty and say all the right things and in the right way. Some may pay their own bills and some may be a pain in the rear. Each one is a favorite to me at the time of their creation and birth and in memory to the place that I was at the time of conception. You can point at every 300 and some poster I’ve made and it has a name, place and means something to me. If you said for me to create something for you like one I did back in 2001, well I couldn’t. It was in and of it’s place in my time. It won the race for that given moment. Shoot, sometimes I can’t even work within the same manner fifteen minutes ago. One creation that comes to mind for this question is a package design and identity for The Elevator Division. It’s one that I can call a significant and critical moment in my design sensibility. It’s one that garnered lots of attention and even though I plan to always be making my best work, the “Whatever Makes You Happy” EP CD will always be in my all-time top ten. I came up with the insane idea of cutting, spray painting imagery and making elaborate inserts for 250 packages (I vowed I’d never do it again, but funny how I work…and how I nearly exhausted my tank a month ago repeating this ridiculous process for another CD project). Anyway, so here I am the night before making all of these things and I end up changing my concept at the last minute. Thankfully, it still fit the real estate of the cardboard package, though It required spraying each cover three times as opposed to once. So, production time was tripled and time was not on my side but the design I felt was…and it worked and said a thousand time more than the original. What I had was an attention grabbing image of a hand shooting one of it’s fingers guised as a missle. The idea of shooting off one’s options…or, whatever makes you happy. It worked. It popped. It spoke exactly what the title and the band were speaking of in the music with relationships and with the political climate of war and post-terrorism America . And it came to me the night before (Anyway, I’m boring you with all that designer yap). So, my excitement of the new imagery, fueled my creation of 250 packages in less than a 48 hour period (and let’s not forget to mention i was working a day job). I was really smart and thought it was an awesome idea to spray paint in a basement with no ventilation. At the end of my final hour I erupted from the fumes and haze, with red, white and black paint caked to my hands and coming from my mouth and nose. I flung open the front door of the house as lightning crackled to find a hard rain falling. I was Noah and my boat was taking off…or landed, based on perspective of the event. In revival I jumped and slid head first down the steep grassy embankment and into the dirty, flooded street. I was washed clean. Sadly the design was so effective that it sold-out within a couple of shows and I had to do it all over again. But, the next round was adapted to a standard jewel case. 07) What’s essential on a poster or flyer to grab a viewer’s attention in mere seconds? How does form and function come into play? I’ve touched upon this a wee bit in an earlier question. People tend to have short attention spans and walk with their heads down…and/or simply don’t look at things. Because of this a design has really got to pop, have immediacy and definately needs to say something. It’s funny because people have told me things like, “That is probably your worst poster.” It’s rare for people to be so honest in this way, but I love it when they are so passionate about it (and I love it when they say probably because that means they’ve really put some thought into it and have had discussions with themselves about it in comparable reason with my past efforts and wasted time wrestling with it). But, for some reason that poster really must have spoken to them to have so much feel for it. Normally these are the posters that end up being published and placed in traveling exhibitions. It’s really funny to me. At the time of creation I’m not trying to piss on anybody nor try to make something groundbreaking or award-winning. I just feel like doing things the way I do them in that moment and I feel I make them work. Form and function is an important application for design. Here is another thing I’ve already mentioned…I feel so many kids see something cool and just start cranking out these cool-lookin’ forms…hand-picking the way their things will look. There is a major lack of growth in most art-music these days…even outside of these areas…even just in someone’s persona. I’m not saying you can’t have influences, everybody’s got them and everything’s been done before and done better. I just long for things that speak of their own island. It’s like on “Jurassic Park”. You can’t go in and recreate the notion of copying dinosaurs for yourself. You can only get away with that for so long. Anyway, I also spoke about designs grabbing attention by way of having human elements and a definate soul behind them. I’ve come to compare a poster to a pop song. Sure they’ve been done a thousand times before…but, you can tell the ones that have a true sense of personality and heart to them. There is so much dead-beat fluff out there that can’t even be compared to something that’s alive…something that knows the rules but takes them and reassembles them to their own architecture. It’s very evident in music especially. For instance two bands can play on separate late night talk shows within minutes of each other. Both write pop songs. One speaks freshness and purity, even looks sincere, despite being just a pop band with another pop song. The other feels like actors assembled to play a song somebody else penned for an instant “fat wallet”. It just feels too perfect and calculated…and lifeless. Not everybody cares about this or sees this. It is subjective to a certain degree, but there is a true difference. 08) In your opinion, are flyers and posters a low-brow form of art? People have really started holding posters in higher regard the past five or more years. Poster making is hotter than ever and it really hit a certain peak a couple years ago. The work is spreading farther than just within its respected cities. The artists are becoming just as popular as their art.A poster these days is living beyond it’s short life on the street, on a corkboard or at the venue. People are excited about it. Exhibitions, magazines, websites, books and design annuals celebrate the scene. Collectors and fans of art and music are snatching them up. True, the art of the poster has been around for a long time (and I’ll just reflect on it from my vantage point at the moment). But, I feel that it’s now (band posters in particular) really being taking seriously in the art world. At one time (and in some cases and by some people, still are) posters and flyers were being seen as litter and visual clutter. We can’t help but owe a lot of the commotion to modern pioneers like Art Chantry. He basically single-handily changed the way of the poster back in the ‘70s and ‘80s with experiments, lavish production methods and design aesthetics. He is considered a master artist to the trade and even in the arts in general. Shoot, seeing him lecture in college six years ago helped me decide to take that leap onto the starving artist limb-limbo, doing my own thing as opposed to working for another man. I spoke briefly to him after that lecture and told about my interest in independent music design. He was honest and said, “Expect to starve…several times over.” And I have. I still need to tell him that…and tell him thank you. Though, many poster artists these days no longer have to starve. It’s being taken so seriously and the quality of art is held so high that some can do it for full-time income…and do it rather successfully. A lot of them have full-fledged design studios and cranking out more than just posters. And there are a lot of guys like me with day jobs and coming home to moonlight out of basements and back bedrooms. For myself, I kind of hit the scene at the right time when it was really starting to explode..even though I didn’t really know what I was doing, other than just “doing”. I feel it definitely takes a certain mindset and you’ve got to make some sacrifices. I wouldn’t recommend it to everyone, but with poster art, anyone can do it…it’s easy to do and with limited resources. And then you’ve got the excitement of people bringing back almost deceased production techniques like the letter press. My only rant right now with poster art is that though the quality of work looks great, I feel there is a definite cohesive “look” and style to a lot of it right now. There are a few doing their own thing, but a lot of it is starting to look the same and almost becoming too easy and formulated for some. This is where I give my two cents of brain fart. What’s great about a poster is it’s actual short-lived life on the street. It makes all the more reason to try new things and really push the art form and most importantly gives reason to just be yourself. If it fails it will be gone or in the gutter within weeks and another will take its place. -djg

Top 5 Greatest Biking Gloves for Children 2020
Our Biking Gloves to Tweens for Toddlers Do children need bike gloves? Cycling gloves serve different purposes depending on riding and age atmosphere. Gloves with palms are fantastic for equilibrium bike riders since those little ones tend to fall hands. Consequently, gloves often provide more protection from bumps and scratches for equilibrium bike riders compared to elbow or knee pads. For elderly cyclists, gloves can help minimize the effect in the road and trails, enhance traction for sweaty hands, and ease the strain on palms from the continuous grip on the handlebars. Often times, kids just really love the appearance and wear gloves. And what about half-finger or full-finger gloves? For little toddler and fingers, we prefer half-finger since they are easier to get on and are not as sweaty! Since little ones have a tendency to drop on the palms on their hands, no extra protection is generally needed by their fingertips. During colder months, nevertheless, full-fingered gloves are well worth the hassle of having all those wiggly fingers into the finger holes. For older cyclists, half-finger or full-finger is generally a personal preference. Gloves are common as older kids, like adults, favor traction the gloves supply for their hand, padding, and the extra comfort. Elderly kids grip with their hand, wrapping all the way, while riding. As a result is beneficial. During warm weather, however gloves can help prevent hands. Check out our short list of the greatest biking gloves for kids! 1. Draco/Dobby in a parental type pairing is stuck on my brain and I can't get it out even tho I know it has no proof and it upsets me Draco was a prat since day one and he probably kicked any house elf he saw for fun, or just for even being seen probably. And Dobby made it clear that Harry Potter meant a lot to him because Harry didn't know how bad non-wizards were treated, and how much he disdained his home. But still... a Dobby who played carrying parent. A Dobby who rocked baby Draco to sleep, and told him even more fantastical versions of Beedle the Bard than the originals to get him to sleep (but more because that was the only time any wizard in the Malfoy family looked at him as worthy or with awe). A Dobby who came to Harry Potter bc he saw how much it was eating his dear boy's guilt to know something bad was going to happen at hogwarts but his dad made it clear what would happen if he said anything. A Dobby who knew the pain he as a house elf had already bared, and what kind of pain his master Lucius could and would inflict on his dear youngling. But a Dobby who left happily bc he knew the child he helped raise would still always end up like all the other ones: hateful, spiteful, and cruel. It was in their family motto, in their family ties, and their family's allegiance. Dobby had already seen what Lucius would do when he wholeheartedly agreed with the idiotic viewpoints of a powerful hateful someone. He could only imagine how far he'd go out of fear for this someone, and Dobby could have none of it. Daddy!Dobby is burned in my brain! And then baby Draco who cooed "Do-ee" before "papa." Toddler Draco who cried for his elf instead of his mama. Little Draco who snuck out of bed to find his friend busily cleaning the warm hearth, and wanting to stay with him bc "my woom's cold, and you lall lalone.." so he sits on the warm carpet and tells Dobby all about the dragon he read about at the zoo today or the broom he almost got to fly the other day, and eventually he's out for the count and Dobby only has his dirty rag as clothes, but he still cleans his hands as best he can and apperates him and the heavy little boy he can't really carry anymore back to bed bc he knows his parents won't approve of this friendship.

Top 5 Best Biking Gloves for Kids 2020
Our Beloved Biking Gloves for Toddlers Do kids need bike gloves? Cycling gloves serve different purposes based on age and riding environment. Gloves with padded palms are great for balance bike riders because those ones have a tendency to drop hands. As a result, gloves provide more protection against bumps and scrapes for equilibrium bike riders compared to knee or elbow pads. For elderly riders, relieve the overall strain on hands from the grip on the handlebars, improve grip for hands, and gloves can help minimize the impact in the road and paths. Quite often, kids really love the appearance and wear gloves more as an attachment. And what about full-finger or half-finger gloves? For preschool palms and little toddler, half-finger is nearly always preferred by us since they're easier to get on and are much less sweaty! For riders, half-finger or full-finger is a personal preference. Gloves that are full-fingers are somewhat more common as children, like adults, favor the comfort, padding. Loving my hair more and more each day!

Getting used to surviving < living in this beautiful city I have come to call my home.

Can we also just take a moment to honor this day as Alex and I had our first Costco date????!!!!! And as if there wasn’t enough joy in my heart, the Costco near us was located in an old time favorite spot of ours - Socrates Park

I send Alex shit like this when he’s out of town. Teddy is a new fixture in the bedroom. I meant to store it but i left it in the bedroom one time and the morning I came home from work, I found him like this:

I can’t for the lfe of me take him out of the room anymore. At least for now. A little history about this thing - It’s the only stuffed animal I’ve held on to since after preschool. It was given to me by a grandma. I put it in my bedoom (in my apartment), where Nanay stayed for 5 years. It puts a smile in my face because obviously it reminds me of Nanay now that she’s migrated back to LA and in a few months will be flying to the Philippines for good.

Pre whole body massage, thanks to my gun woman who knew about this hidden gem of a spot in Jackson heights. The best 40$ I have ever spent.

Incidentally, I finally made it to Woom Wellness Center. I have yet to make another post where the Sound Journey experience took me. A definite first in terms of breathing meditations/psychedelic experience without substances. I still can’t believe it all.

My sort of spirit guide and fave weirdo in the city next to Mr. Sqrrl

A rare occasion when all my fave birds for all seasons convene for dancing and excessive laughter. Taken outside Kinfolk Club in Williamsburg.
Grabbed this from Alex’s IG stories as these were the only pictures we have at Ornella and Bar Lunatico.
Alex and I are not huge on grandiose was of celebrating life events. No monthsaries whatsoever. I do remember us celebrating on Feb2017 (not sure of the date) marking the day we first met.
October was one of the hardest months I’ve had to go through and Alex was with me all throughout the way. He’s my angel, I couldn’t imagine what could have been if he was not the person I was with at the time.
So aside from us celebrating our first year as cupboard and knife this month, it’s such a huge release to bid October goodbye. Alex was in LA for several days and flew in a day late for our anniversary. We had dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant in Astoria called Ornella. Food there is so rich I have jokingly said before that we should only go there every few months. Feeling satisfied in every aspect possible after our little feast, we were sort of ready to go home but also sort of down for another agenda. About 20mins later, we found ourselves at Bar Lunatico. Easily another favorite live music spot in Brooklyn. It was a lovely, and heartfelt cold November night to remember, perfect in every way.

Of course, can’t counth on me remembering the band’s name but they were such a talented bunch of musicians, it was almost hard to leave. I think I had work the next day, otherwise we would have raged/raved all night. Kidding. Maybe not.

My beautiful boquet from my lovely Mr. Sqrrl

Tomi Jazz bar and restaurant ~ my first time to see Alex play jazz! Eeee!!

Nicole and Cameron swung by shortly after the set. Good drinks, good company, good music. What can I say!

Usual magical mornings and our magical smoothie bowls

Calvin’s birthday celebration / housewarming with warm hearts all around

Ambient listening party / One Thousand Birds Studios bday gathering for Cal / Alex’ s first ever dj set :)

Laundry day is super fun for me. *No sarcasm aside, really

Took me years to pick up the Mari Kondo book and it did bring in some more magic to my life. Couldn’t be happier. Now if I can only remember to return it to Calvin very soon.
Whe two lyft drivers cancels on you at 4am but your chakras still 👌af (and the promise of the warmest bed and bedroom awaits you).

That time Alex and I made three dishes for my parents as a late Thanksgiving celebration. The vegan dishes were well approved of. For the first time in maybe 5 years, I also took on the challenge of baking salmon, a huge one. It was a hit. My parents are obvs not vegan so I had to compromise a bit.

Post yoga night glow ;)

This was my absolute, absolute favorite dress for her, I’m still screaming internally weeks later as I’m seeing this again.

Another rare occasion ( I call it a magnetic and magical day), when all four of us were available on a Tuesday morning to help out Wek choose her bridal gown. She was gorgeous in each one of em. We all liked different dresses for her. Needless to say, the dresses we liked for her that she tried on were the ones we would wear to our own weddings hehe. That doesn’t take away the fact that she really did look good in all five dresses.
We had some more time for brunch and mid-day drinking. A timely NYC bestfrands support group catching up.
