Elo, ‘tis the flag anon *waves*... you seem to like angst and pain as much as I do (slow evil smile) so... do you think there’s a possibility that one of the couples in wbl don’t end up together in S2? Support with theories and poetic observations please (because I’m a sucker for that kind of stuff )... also, how have things been? I hope you’ve been keeping well, despite the wbl wait, that is.

ayyy, flag anon & I are twinsie!! 

i love angst and pain and suffering but i don’t think any of the couples would have bad ending… this is mainly supported by the fact that Lin Pei You has never written a sad ending for any of her BLs before and i sure hope she won’t start with this one. 

also, im pretty sure Shu Yi & Shi De’s probably gonna end up married (or engaged at the very least) by the end of season 2. this might just be wishful thinking but in HIStory: Right or Wrong, Shi Yi Jie & Xiao Fei even end up married! so, i have VERY high hope. in the worst-case scenario, they might end up being physically apart, due to circumstances out of their control, but still very much madly in love and mutual pining for each other (like in HIStory: Crossing the Line or HIStory: Trapped)

but! if we’re talking about WBL, and Shu Yi/Shi De in particular, i also seriously don’t think they’ll have a sad ending… Shi De might have the habit of avoiding Shu Yi because he thinks he’s doing it for Shu Yi’s own good (Ep5, Shi De literally avoiding Shu Yi because he’s reinforcing the fact that his feelings aren’t Shu Yi’s business by removing himself out of Shu Yi’s life) but Shu Yi will find him in the end. Shi De is also very capable of winning Shu Yi over, he’s more than capable of being a manipulative lil shit who takes his fate into his own hands (Ep4, Shi De planning their entire locked-in situation in the infirmary). so, I think he’d follow Shu Yi to the end of the earth just to get Shu Yi back. 

b u t, speaking of sad ending ;3
