Because if Killua’s pass rate is any indication...the man has some very strange requirements for his future wife

This fic~ is immediately and without question one of my all-time favorites. Utterly hilarious & charming. Authentic friendships. I felt the stellar-story flutters and laughed way too actually-out-loud-ly. Thanks for the rec! ^^

Two dozen moons ago, strange occurrences spread across the clans. Earthquakes rumbled the ground underpaw. Prey rotted from the inside. Birds dropped dead from the air. A thick haze permeated the air. All the while StarClan insisted nothing was wrong. The clans persevered, as they always did.

Then, a cataclysmic eruption sent a lava spine through ShadowClan territory, uprooting half the trees and setting the other half ablaze. ThunderClan's tunnels have impossibly shifted — a hundred years of discovery wiped clean. RiverClan's main water sources have turned muddy and undrinkable. Twolegs have fled the city, leaving WindClan without a main food source and cutting off communication between their outposts.

Surrounded by a strange new landscape, the Clans must learn to adapt to survive.

Beyond the Pale is an 18+ apocalyptic Warrior Cats RPG featuring the three original Clans in reimagined settings as they adjust to a new normal: ThunderClan lives in a tunnel network beneath a mountain, RiverClan lives in a haunted bog, and WindClan lives divided in a large city. RW:FS Announcement!

This Wednesday, the Raging Winter: Forgotten Sunrise project will be put on hold until further notice for surgery & recovery! Until then, announcements and updates will be moved over to the RW:FS blog (yeah, we have a blog now).

Once I'm fully recovered, updates and announcements will start back up over on the RW:FS blog (click). This blog won't just be for updates, though! As more lore is developed, I will be cranking out some posts about Clan histories, cats of the Clans, and so on.

Raisel shakes his head, once, twice, and a third time. and yet the outline of a cat is still there. Heart pounding, he started running towards the cat. 

The sand and sharp gravel beneath him cut into his paws, and he dodged around the sharp straggly “trees” growing out of the ground. 

The cat was still there, and he ran as fast as he could. Their back was facing him, and Raisel skidded to a stop. The sand beneath him and momentum he’d been building, however, did not help him and before he knew it he barrelled into the cat, slamming into them and knocking both of them to the ground with a hiss.

Bouncefur

"Holy shit. Holy shit. Holy shit." Bouncefur had stopped dead in their tracks as they squinted at a familiar looking shape. Another cat. A real one this time. They bounded over quickly, skidding to a stop as they noticed a few more shapes, one of which had barreled into the original shape. Oh crap, maybe they were in over their head. Was this a gang? Were there gangs in this place? The ginger tabby was hesitant, but started sneaking closer to see.

But it is real this time, and his unsteady paws carry him in a trance to see exactly who he's meeting.

She doubted it was anything other than her mind, or the land playing tricks on her, or even hope driving her to hallucinate, but what was there to lose in investigating? Addie’s always known her as the odd, slightly estranged aunt—unpredictable, a little wild, and never quite welcome at family gatherings. She was always around, but never involved; always watching, but never quite stepping in. Growing up, Addie chalked it up to family drama no one talked about—just something messy and unspoken swept under the rug. After all, families with status like the Sawyers kept their shadows tucked away. All she ever knew is what her parents told her: her aunt got into some trouble once a long time ago; and now, she’s never been someone to fully trust. And yet, for someone supposedly so untrustworthy, she always seemed to be there for Addie—lingering at the edges of her life in ways that feel less like coincidence and more like something... maternal.
