Oh I would love to get you started on anything about WCW tell us all about it anything you want to share. Like spoilers head cannons I’m here for it ALL I’m so so invested. But why can’t Jack see Alex is so much better for him then his wife 😭
That's so sweet! I'm not gonna give y'all any spoilers, though. Lmao. I am gonna put the rest of this under a cut, just on the off chance that someone hasn't read it yet and doesn't want to get anything spoiled that has been posted.
But I'll go ahead and explain my tags from before. Don't get me wrong, I love Jalex in my own fics (that would be wild if I didn't), but they're both deeply flawed. It was selfish and dumb as fuck of Alex to wait decades to tell Jack how he actually felt about him, literally days before he was set to get married. That's why I don't feel a ton of sympathy for him after Jack doesn't reach out to him after they hooked up -- Alex didn't reach out to him either. But I guess that's where my issues with Alex ends (other than him basically using Beau, but that's a whole other can of worms).
Jack, on the other hand. Whew. He had no obligation to reciprocate Alex's feelings, but he did. That in of itself isn't the issue. The issue is that man literally asked another person to marry him, then fucked Alex, made a JOKE about having to hide the condom, and then just. Married Caitlin. He never discussed it with her, never allowed her to decide if she wanted to proceed with the wedding, put Alex in a godawful position (that Alex also kind of put himself into, I know), and then basically called Alex a bad friend for dipping on the wedding. While I do think it was immature of Alex to do that and delete the voicemails, I don't think it was the worst possible thing he could have done. It bothers me that Jack knew how much Alex loved him and he still slept with him, knowing that he was still going to get married and not tell Caitlin about it. That was scummy.

Thoughts on poetry and how you get students excited about it.
hmm unfortunately i didn't get a chance to do a ton of poetry while i was student-teaching last year, but i think for writing in general but especially for poetry, stressing that so much of it is subjective!
like yes there are Terms with specific definitions, but even then there are so few Correct Answers - in fact, one of the things i repeat ad nauseum as an english teacher is "there are no wrong answers, as long as you can prove it in the text"
i did some poetry with my juniors who really did not like me anywhere near as much as my freshmen did, and i remember them surprising me with a heated discussion about whether a certain line of a poem should be considered a metaphor or personification. make it fun. give them incentives.
i did a lesson on william carlos williams and after analyzing a few of his poems i had them spend the rest of class writing their own in his style, while keeping myself available to give feedback when they were finished. some of them were like "idk what to write about i don't get poetry idkkkk :(" and i was like "look around the room and pick something, and write about it" and one kid was like "haha ok i'm gonna write about this water bottle" just to be annoying and i was just like "ok! come show me when you're done!" and when he was done i gave feedback just as seriously as i did for the kids who wrote about things that were meaningful to them. and yknow what? by the end of class, that kid had written a poem about a water bottle that demonstrated the characteristics of wcw's style of poetry. and so did his friend who wrote about a sweatshirt.
another day we read annabel lee by poe. they'd already done the raven before i started student-teaching, so they were familiar w poe and had liked him enough to have a couple running jokes about him/the raven even though a few months had passed. after we read the poem and went over difficult vocab and analyzed the poetic devices, i pointed out a couple of seemingly innocuous elements of the poem that, interpreted a certain way, change it from a boring romantic love poem to a dark thriller about obsession. by the end of class they were engaged in an intense discussion about whether the speaker of the poem had ever even had a conversation with annabel lee, or if he was just an obsessive creep who liked to sleep in her tomb. lots of laughing and freaking out about how weird that is, but how ultimately it makes sense when you consider poe's other work
right before quarantine started i made a list of all the poems i'd read with them so far and wrote up an assignment for a debate: if only one of these poems could remain in the curriculum from now on, which one should it be, and why? i passed out numbered slips of paper to assign a picking order, and they got to choose which poem's team they wanted to be on (w a limit ofc). i gave them the order of the match-ups, and told them to build a case for their poem and against the other poem.
"but sefa," you might be saying, "how can you ask your students to prove one poem is better than another? it's so subjective!" but that's exactly the point. when you take away the pressure for them to reach a certain conclusion (especially for something subjective) they get to be creative and have fun with it. i had several students email me after quarantine started saying things like "i'm so disappointed i won't get to completely destroy carl sanburg's chicago and prove that annabel lee is the best poem of all time :("
long story short: trick them into thinking you're taking it less seriously. let them work through things and come to their own conclusions. tell them about widely agreed upon interpretations and ask if they agree. they don't care because they think it has nothing to do with them, even if they're writing their own poems. get on their level. make it funny. let them get heated. even if there's a right answer, let them discuss it for a bit before you give it away. give them a task they'll WANT to succeed at, and make it so that the task can't be accomplished without them applying the lesson content
it's like hiding vegetables in a little kid's mac and cheese. first you get them excited, and then the learning happens. the curriculum means nothing if their brains are turned off from the start

Brian Cage has been an enormous a part of Tony Khan's Ring of Honor promotion. Nevertheless, it has been fairly a while since he appeared on AEW programming. Talking on a current version of Keepin' It 100, Konnan gave his tackle Cage's absence and the potential of TNT forcing AEW to maintain the 38-year-old star off tv. Quantity two, such as you mentioned they had been nice pals, he appeared as much as him and he patterned his model after him and you realize, you are gonna preserve a expertise like that off of TV due to this? And once more, it goes again to all this political correctness the place different persons are offended for us, you realize, is there an outpouring of individuals saying, 'Hey, haven't got Brian Cage on the present'? So why are you doing this?" mentioned Konnan [0:58-1:29] Konnan just lately defined if Brian Cage's absence has acquired something to do along with his spouse Melissa Santos Brian Cage's spouse Melissa Santos has been fairly vocal relating to her husband on social media. Talking beforehand on Keepin' It 100, Konnan defined if Cage's spouse's feedback on Twitter had something to do along with his push. He mentioned: "I feel it’s due to his spouse getting on f**king Twitter and bashing the corporate and them telling him ‘hey management her’ and he didn’t or he couldn’t and I feel that acquired him warmth.” Konan additional defined why he thought it was a double normal transfer. The WCW veteran added: “It's a double-standard, however double-standards, and as Arn Anderson so superbly mentioned ‘triple-standards are at all times invoked.’ Identical to that aircraft experience from hell [episode of Dark Side of the Ring], why didn’t they do something to Ric Aptitude? As a result of Jim Ross mentioned on the factor, ‘he’s a made man.’ There are double requirements, and Brian Cage is a sufferer of it, and the man’s a f**king star, a stud, individuals like him he’s over and it’s a disgrace they don’t use him proper." I read the read more about your tags and I do agree with you 100% and it’s like if there was a time like he mentioned them in a hotel room and he wanted more out of Alex than he got it’s like why didn’t you tell him how you felt then because Alex was into him then as well and I agree after all that happened instead of jumping straight into the marriage talk to your partner tell them what happened or even maybe postpone the marriage until you can decide what you really want especially when you have another option who arguably is probably better for you but I’m also biased
Lol, I'm also biased, but I feel ya! The problem here is a severe lack of communication (which men are so often guilty of). At some point, maybe they'll learn how to talk openly and honestly, but until then...we shall see.

Monday Night Raw #127
September 18, 1995 (Taped August 28, 1995) Canton Civic Center Canton, OH Announcers: Vince McMahon & Jerry Lawler
Monday Night War Report: WCW Monday Nitro this week takes place one night after WCW’s Fall Brawl PPV, emanating from Freedom Hall in Johnson City, TN. The results were as followed: 1) Marcus Alexander Bagwell & Scotty Riggs defeated WCW World Tag Team Champions Harlem Heat (w/ Sister Sherri) to win the Tag Titles (4:40); 2) Paul Orndorff pinned Johnny B. Badd (6:40); 3) Ric Flair defeated Brian Pillman via submission (5:24). Raw would rebound after last week’s loss to squeak out a win this week, 2.5 to 2.4.
Head-to-Head Ratings Scorecard: Nitro 1 – Raw 1
1) The 1-2-3 Kid defeats Razor Ramon after a Dean Douglas top rope splash at 7:08
Fun Fact: Last week, 1-2-3 Kid interfered in Razor Ramon’s match and accidentally hit Razor as he came off the top rope trying to hit Davey Boy Smith. After the match, the two argued with each other. Kid said nobody took him seriously when he first beat Razor in 1993, and he challenged Razor to another match, which Razor accepted for this week.
Scott: We open with a rematch long overdue. Back in May 1993, Razor Ramon was a heel and the 1-2-3 Kid was a plucky jobber. Kid pulled off the upset and now two and a half years later they are both babyfaces and friends. I just realized as Vince McHaon said it that this Sunday is IYH #3. Then I recalled we lost two weeks of shows because of the US Open on USA Network. Jerry Lawler is fully in the Kid’s corner during this match, which tells me that a Kid heel turn may be in the offing somewhere down the line. The match is back and forth and when we went to commercial Kid had Razor in a sleeper until Razor recovered and got out of it. Both men are down and with the Canton crowd on their feet, Razor starts to really lay into Kid with some strikes as Vince says Razor actually isn’t going full steam because they are friends. At one point, Razor is in the ring on his back as the Kid is outside with the referee. Down the ramp comes Dean Douglas, who hits a splash on Razor, then escapes. The Kid crawls into the ring, drapes his arm over the fallen Razor and gets the three count. The Bad Guy is now more determined than ever to get the evil teacher. Grade: *1/2
JT: We waltz into week two of the new fall season, still in Canton, with a big night of action ahead of us. This is a very special Thursday night episode of Raw and Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler have the call as usual and welcome us right into our very interesting opening match, which features two close friends going to battle after a skirmish a week ago. Of course, there is tons of history between 1-2-3 Kid and Razor Ramon and most of it has been woven into the very fabric of Raw. Kid chugs out first, looking to remind everyone that he isn’t just some lucky kid. Ramon saunters to the ring next and Vince hypes up his big match with Dean Douglas at IYH3. Kid jumps Ramon as he gets in the ring and quickly sends him back to the floor to gain his bearings. Razor charges back in and Kid outquicks him until the Bad Guy catches him on a cross body and then sends him flying with a big fallaway slam off the middle rope. Ramon keeps overpowering and hammering away at Kid as we get more IYH3 talk. King wonders if Kid has aligned himself with Douglas at all but Vince thinks he just wants respect from his friend and mentor. Ramon starts to work the arm and then crushes Kid with a hard uranage for two. Kid starts to mount a comeback and clocks Ramon with a spin kick for one. He follows up by jumping on Ramon’s back and hooking a sleeper, hanging on to the hold through a break. Ramon broke the hold and turned up the heat, burying Kid in the corner with a clothesline. Vince thinks Razor is holding back on his friend here and things start to get dicey when the ref gets wiped out during a collision. With everyone down, Douglas showed up and hit a big splash off the top rope on the Bad Guy before sneaking away. Kid and the ref both recovered and Kid would cover the prone Ramon for the upset win. The crowd was in shock at that one. I really enjoyed that match as it was well structured and hard hitting, especially during Ramon’s heat segment. It isn’t a shock that these guys have great chemistry but it is always fun to watch it play out. I liked the finish too as Kid gets his win but the IYH3 match gets a big heat boost. Grade: **
*** We go backstage, where a sweaty Dean Douglas is in his classroom. He gives 1-2-3 Kid a “D” for “dumb” and Razor Ramon an “E” for “elevate”, which is trying to do by taking on the Dean. He also gives him self an “A” and says Ramon will get an “N” on Sunday as it will be a no brainer who will win that match. ***
2) Tatanka & Kama defeat Savio Vega & Bob Holly when Kama pins Holly with a powerslam at 5:47
Scott: Interesting little tag team match here as two Corporate members face the Puerto Rican legend and the race car driver. This is rare for the WWF to have such a short amount of time to promote a PPV, even more so that this show was on a Thursday so that means only three days until IYH. The discussion on commentary centers around Henry Godwinn, who’s now on a mission to slop the entire Corporation, who at this point is nothing more than a bunch of glorified mid-card guys. This match is pretty good though as both teams are going back and forth until Kama recovers from a missile dropkick to reverse a cross body into a powerslam for the victory. Kama (and the Corporation) gets the much needed win. Sid faces Henry Godwinn on Sunday, a far cry from title matches with Diesel. Grade: *
JT: We head right back to the ring as Ted DiBiase leads out the very stale team of Tatanka and Kama for a battle with Savio Vega and Bob Holly. We head back to Superstars, where Henry Godwinn slopped DiBiase in advance of his match with Psycho Sid. Lawler reminds us that Vega is battling Waylon Mercy this Sunday and doesn’t think that match will go very well. Tatanka and Savio open things up and the Caribbean Legend gets off to a hot start, working over both men before sending Kama careening to the floor. Things reset as Holly and Kama tag in and we get a rather sloppy exchange between the two. Holly started to work the arm and then tagged in Savio but Kama caught him with a right hand. Tatanka tagged in and then bailed outside as Savio was picking up steam. We get some good heel work as Tatanka heads across the floor and trips up Holly, which allowed Kama to nail Savio from behind. The Million Dollar boys snuck in some double teams as Holly argued with the ref, gaining full control of the proceedings. Kama and Tatanka would dominate Vega for a minute or so until Savio and Tatanka collided heads, wiping both men out. Both would recover and make tags, with Holly coming in hot and landing the first shot, rattling the big man. Holly followed with a missile dropkick for two and then things broke down. Holly came flying off the top rope with a cross body but Kama caught him and awkwardly slammed him down for the win. This was a sloppy mess from bell to bell, especially when Kama and Holly were in there as they just didn’t mesh at all. Tatanka feels like a relic at this point and this whole match felt pretty aimless overall. Not much going on here. Grade: 1/2*
*** Razor Ramon is backstage and vows to take out Dean Douglas this Sunday night. ***
3) Jean-Pierre Lafitte defeated Brian Walsh with a somersault cannonball at 3:18
Scott: While this squash is going on, Vince is on the phone with Bret Hart, who will be facing Lafitte on Sunday in Saginaw. This all stems from Lafitte stealing glasses from kids and taking Bret’s jacket on Superstars. Wow this PPV is being totally rush booked with matches being slapped together at random. Lafitte wins, and is ready for the Hitman Sunday. Grade: DUD
JT: We go right back to the ring as Jean-Pierre Lafitte stalks to the ring, toting along Bret Hart’s jacket. Vince recaps the history between the pirate and the Hitman as Brian Walsh actually lands a couple of shots in. As Lafitte takes over, Bret Hart calls in from the set of Lonesome Dove. Hart makes some pirate jokes and then takes Lafitte to task for how he treats the young fans. Lafitte batters Walsh as Hart says the pirate will go down for all the stealing he has been doing of late. Hart hangs up and Lafitte finishes Walsh with a nice somersault cannonball. Lafitte has been sure and steady since debuting but finally gets his breakthrough chance on Sunday. Grade: DUD
*** Vince McMahon narrates through the history between King Mabel and Diesel to show the rise of Men on a Mission. ***
4) Owen Hart & Yokozuna defeat Men on a Mission in a non-title match when Hart pinned Mo after a Yokozuna legdrop at 9:30
Scott: Finally, we have two heel tag teams brawling it out here, but no titles are on the line so why would the fans care who wins the match? Just because Vince wants to see Yoko & Mabel in the ring together? Who cares? We already know that Owen can wrestle circles around Mo, so all in all this match could be an utter slog. It is cool to see the last two KOTR winners in the ring together. Owen & Yoko seems to be coming off as the babyface team in terms of structure, as they are the ones getting double teamed behind the referee’s back. Probably because even though he’s a heel, Owen Hart is a popular wrestler with the fans. Then again, Mo is getting double teamed a few minutes later. So maybe it’s just four cheating jerks trying to out “jerk” each other. The crowd is a bit timid until Yoko & Mabel start slugging it out. Yoko is heavier but Mabel is taller. Owen ends up pinning Mo after interference from Yokozuna. The match was frighteningly fun. Grade: **
JT: We head back to the ring for our final match of the evening as our Tag Team Champions make their way out, flanked by Mr. Fuji and Jim Cornette as always. Men on a Mission are already in the ring and Vince ensures us the ring has been reinforced here tonight. This is a pretty interesting match on paper, with both teams quite disliked by the fans and also due to the physical constitution of each unit. We get the showdown between Mabel and Yoko and then each time gathers and sets themselves. We open with Owen and Mo and they trade some offense, with both looking fairly crisp in their attacks. Mo snaps off a nice powerslam and then tags Mabel, who just spikes Owen to the mat by his hair and then kicks away. Owen would dodge an avalanche in the corner and then hammer away until the King shoved him back hard to the mat. The crowd certainly seems to be backing the champs here as Vince gives a final sell for IYH3 this weekend. Mo and Mabel take turns tagging in and out and putting a beating on Owen as we find out Diesel’s back is still dinged up from SummerSlam. Owen would block a sloppy Mo sunset flip attempt for two and then chuck Mo over the top to the floor, allowing him to finally tag Yoko. Yoko power walked into the ring and beckoned Mabel, but that just allowed Owen to batter Mo on the floor. That was a great heel spot right there. Owen shoved Mo back in and Yoko went right to work, viciously beating him down as the crowd buzzed a bit. After a break, Owen and Mo both went for a spin kick and whiffed, careening hard to the mat. They would both tag and Yoko and Mabel met in the center of the ring like two bulls colliding as the crowd popped. Mabel won the battle and actually worked over both champs before tagging Mo right back in. After a double clothesline by MOM, Mo peppered some shots until Owen kicked him in the back to kill his momentum. Yoko clotheslined Mo down and Owen hit a missile dropkick for a close near fall. Owen followed with a neckbreaker but Mo came back with a superplex for two. Things broke down with all four brawling but Mabel would get knocked to the floor, allowing Owen to trip up Mo and Yoko to drop the leg to give the champs the win. This was much better than it had any right to be with a much quicker pace than I expected. Mo was sloppy in spots as usual but he hung right with Owen throughout and the back-and-forth structure kept it moving. The Mabel/Yoko spots were also well done and the crowd pop for the big collision was a cool moment. I definitely enjoyed this more than I expected to heading in, so kudos there. The champs now move on to an incredibly high stakes match on Sunday. Grade **
*** Diesel and Shawn Michaels are backstage and talk all about their big Triple Header match on Sunday night at In Your House #3. Vince McMahon then gets in the ring to talk to Jim Cornette, Yokozuna and Owen Hart and they also give their thoughts on the Triple Header match. ***
Final Analysis:
Scott: With not much time to promote a PPV on Raw, this show did seem very rushed. The first match and the last match were entertaining enough but the announcing is the important thing here because the guys are trying to promote this PPV that had no real build on Monday nights because of the time off the show had to endure. Diesel’s title reign is really starting to fatigue but here he siphons off the hotter Shawn Michaels. Razor and The Kid are on a collision course down the line. A decent show and we are off to Saginaw! Final Grade: C+
JT: This was a tidy little go home edition of Raw and I have been enjoying the refreshed product since the new fall season launched. The graphics, the flow, the feel and just the overall look needed a change and we got it. They are pretty much embracing that they are taped some weeks now, including showing clips of what is to come throughout the night and it seems to be working for now. The roster is also fluctuating a bit, which is helping to keep things fresher too. We had two solid matches bookending the show and plenty of final hype for In Your House, which looks to be a decent enough show on paper. The main event here was pretty fun and was the best Mabel has looked since his big push began. And honestly I think that shows he is best used as a tag wrestler that can dominate in spurts. If he had a better partner, they could have had something more there. That said, all the gold is on the line this Sunday night, we will see if we have new champions in place next week on Raw. Until then… Final Grade: B-

From WCW I really want Alex and Jack interaction like alone without Beau or Caitlin so they can talk or whatever else they decide to do 👹. But for real like I know they just need to talk without anyone else around so they can talk about everything maybe those unheard voicemails. But it’s your story and I’m happy to read whatever you decide to share with us because I love this story so so much 💜
Jalex will definitely have a conversation at some point. I can't promise that it'll be anytime soon because they've both really hurt each other (I will not say whether or not I've taken a side in this situation, but I def. have). Thank you so much for the response and for loving my little story.

Auston Matthews ~ My WCW, not yours
Another angst with a happy ending story, what can I say, love some angst :)))Liked writing this because I got to mention KJ Apa!! (actor from the tv show Riverdale in case anyone didn’t know who he was :) )
Requested: Yes
“Hey! Can you please write an Auston Matthews imagine of how a famous young actor/singer makes y/n his WCW and Auston gets jealous about it. And he becomes angry because it starts to trend and all his teammates retweet it as a joke. But y/n reassures him that she only want him? Thank you😊 “
Warnings: Nahh
For @jennbabeyy
Y/Ni is Nickname
——— —— — — is Time lapse
Tumblr media
You were out at dinner with your best friend when your phone started buzzing like crazy. The lock screen displayed a number of twitter notifications, which were seemingly growing in number as each second passed, leaving you confused. You had like 100 followers on twitter, half of which were Auston’s team mates and their girlfriends, and you’d never got this many notifications from the app before.
You were normally against checking your phone at a table, you thought it was rude, but your friend was at the toilet and you were curious.
You unlocked your phone and pulled up your twitter, coming face to face with over 1,000 likes and retweets on the picture you had posted a few hours ago. You were shocked and you scrolled through the comments to find the source.
“Omg I can’t believe KJ Apa retweeted this!!”
You were pretty sure your mouth was hanging open unattractively, but if this person was right, then you had all the reason in the world to look like this currently.
You clicked back onto the notifications and discovered he had in fact retweeted your picture, it was of you watching riverdale that Auston had taken, and you let out a gasp. You had thought it was a pretty nice picture and so posted it, tagging him and some of the other cast, not thinking anything of it.
You were maybe a little wrong about that.
You were a tiny bit obsessed with the red headed actor and the fact that he had even seen your picture, never mind the fact he had also added a comment saying ‘Always like to see new fans of the show, especially pretty ones! #WCW’, left you a little giddy.
When your friend returned from the bathroom you filled her in on what had happened, and the two of you spent a few minutes gushing over it.
“How do you think Auston’s gonna react?”
You were a bit confused by her comment, “What do you mean?”
“A famous, and hot I should add, actor retweets a picture of his girlfriend; calls her pretty and his Woman Crush Wednesday; and the whole world freaks out about it. I think he’s gonna care a bit, Y/N.”
You frowned a little at that.
“I’m sure he’ll be cool about it, it’s not as if other girls don’t do the same to him. I don’t care about that.”
“Yeah, you’re probably right.”
— —— — ——— —— — ——— —— — ———— —— — ———— —— — —
So you should have probably listened to your friend…
“I don’t see what the problem is, Auston. Other girls do the same thing with you every single day and I don’t say a word. It happens to me one time and you get angry with me? That’s not how that works.”
You were beyond frustrated at this point. You and Auston had been arguing for the last half hour about that stupid comment.
When you returned home you were immediately ambushed by an enraged Auston shoving his phone into your face, showing you the picture.
He wasn’t too pleased by the actor’s words.
To make things worse, whilst you had been heading home, Auston’s teammates had gotten wind of the retweeted picture, and had retweeted it themselves to annoy Auston even more.
Mitch had even added his own comment saying that Auston 'should watch his back incase you gotten stolen from him’.
As you can probably tell, that didn’t go down well with him, and that’s how you were here now.
“Look Auston, I’m sick of arguing about this. An actor called me his WCW, it’s hardly the end of the world.”
He opened his mouth to speak but you quickly prevented him from arguing back.
“I’m not talking about this anymore. I’m going to bed. You can sleep out here on the couch.”
You were beyond exhausted due to the fighting, and just wanted to go and rest.
Ofcourse, your body didn’t agree with you and you spent the next few hours tossing and turning.
You never slept well without Auston curled up beside you, and the fact that you’d had a fight seemed to make things even worse.
You eventually gave up and padded out to the living room, after grabbing one of Auston’s hoodies to keep you warm.
When you walked in, he was lying on the couch, staring at the ceiling with his eyes wide awake.
“Hey,” you started softly, not wanting to startle him, “can’t sleep?”
He sat up and patted the couch beside you, so you walked over and sat beside him, tucking your legs underneath yourself.
“No, can’t get our fight out of my mind. I’m such an idiot, Y/Ni. I shouldn’t have said all those things. I was just so angry in that moment and didn’t think about the consequences of what I was saying. None of this was your fault and I just took it all out on you.” He sighed.
“Aus, hey, it’s okay. Yeah, sure, you got annoyed over something silly but it’s okay. You’re allowed to get a little jealous over something another guy said. I get jealous when girls throw themselves all over you. It’s just the way you went about it. You started shouted at me as soon as I walked in the door over something I can’t control.”
“I know, and I feel awful about that. I’m really sorry for all the things I said to you.”
You could tell he was beating himself up bad about this.
“Look it doesn’t matter what some actor says about me, you’re the only guy I want to call me their WCW. I love you so much, and I’m so glad I get to spend every day getting to know and love you more.”
Auston pulled you into his arms and placed a kiss on your forehead.
“I love you so much too. I just thought that you would leave me or something because of what he said. I mean I can’t really compare to that guy…”
“Hey, no, don’t go there. You’re the most perfect guy for me and I don’t care about anyone else, okay? I’m not going to run away with some actor because he called me pretty. You do that every day and that makes me feel so much more special than his words ever could, okay?”
Auston smiled down at you, “Okay.” He replied with a smile and kissed you softly.
Requests are open so please send me some prompts! Thanks for reading, let me know what you think please, always appreciate some feedback!! :)

Monday Night Raw #112
May 22, 1995 (Taped May 15, 1995) Broome County Arena Binghamton, NY Announcers: Vince McMahon & Jerry Lawler
1) Razor Ramon defeats Mike Bell after a back suplex off the top rope at 4:17
Scott: We open the show with the Bad Guy, who qualified for the King of the Ring over the weekend. Razor is joined by his new friend Savio Vega, who made his first appearance at In Your House saving Razor from an attack by Jeff Jarrett & the Roadie. Speaking of Jeff Jarrett, he and Razor Ramon swapped the Intercontinental Title over the span of three days up in Canada. Razor won the title for the third time on 5/19, and then Jarrett won it right back for his third title on 5/22. This is Razor’s first Raw match since the beating he took at the hands of Sid a few weeks ago and in his alternate Green tights and boots he beats down Mike Bell but instead of dropping the Edge, just throws him to the canvas and puts his boot on him for the three count. A pretty standard opener but it shows Razor is back. Grade: 1/2*
JT: Welcome to another edition of Monday Night Raw, this week coming at you via videotape from Binghamton, NY, now two weeks removed from the premier installment of In Your House. Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler are in the booth as usual and they are heavily hyping the big return of Shawn Michaels here tonight, his first appearance and match on Raw in seven weeks. Lawler warns that Ted DiBiase is looking to have Michaels finished off for good this time. We then head to the ring for our opening tilt as Razor Ramon saunters to the ring, flanked by the Caribbean Legend Savio Vega. Vega debuted eight days ago at IYH and we have discovered that him and Ramon are close friends. Lawler notes that Ramon has qualified for the KOTR tournament and Vince adds on that Mabel and Bob Holly have as well. We will find out the fourth qualifier later tonight. Ramon mows right through Bell as Lawler talks some shit on Bret Hart, reminding us that he defeated the Hitman two weeks ago. Ramon eventually finishes Bell with a back suplex off the top rope and the Bad Guy is primed to finally take home that crown after coming so close a year ago. Grade: DUD
*** Bret Hart powerwalks to ringside, grabs a microphone and addresses Jerry Lawler. He is still trying to figure out how he possibly lost to the King and calls him worthless scum while wondering if he is a failure. He says Lawler will never be better than him but he does cheat well and says he let everybody down by losing that match. Hart says Lawler has humiliated and embarrassed him but asks what it would take to get one last rematch and says King can ask for anything he could possibly dream up. King says Hart has suffered enough humiliation but Bret comes over and smacks him and demands him to make an offer. Hart says that Lawler is lower than shit and then starts choking him out as Vince McMahon and officials try to pry him off. Hart keeps demanding Lawler pick a type of match until he is finally pulled away. ***
2) Hunter Hearst-Helmsley defeats John Chrystal with a cutter drop at 3:10
Fun Fact: Paul Levesque is from New Hampshire, and began training in Massachusetts in Killer Kowalski’s training school. He made his debut in the IWF in 1992, winning that heavyweight title. He moved on to WCW as lower mid-carder Terra Ryzin, and then changed his name to Jean-Paul Levesque and took on a more snobby blueblood attitude. He toiled with Lord Steven Regal for a while, losing to Alex Wright at Starrcade 1994. He left WCW and was picked up by the WWF in early-1995. He kept his snobby blueblood attitude but his name was changed to something that flowed off the tongue a little better: Hunter Hearst-Helmsley. A vignette aired on the May 1 Raw announcing his debut. His first TV match was on the April 30 Wrestling Challenge when he defeated Buck Zumhoff with a jaw breaker-type move. His RAW debut is tonight where he will also debut what becomes his signature move: the Pedigree. His first PPV appearance was at last month’s In Your House as one of the lumberjacks in the Diesel/Sid title match.
Scott: The Greenwich Blueblood makes his Raw debut after some vignettes and Superstars matches over the past few weeks. It’s practically ignored as Jerry Lawler is sniping with Vince about Bret Hart’s coming out and getting into Lawler’s face about a rematch. Helmsley’s debut is a forgettable squash. Grade: DUD
JT: As Jerry Lawler sorts himself out, we head to the ring for the Raw debut of the newly arrived Hunter Hearst-Helmsley. The Greenwich, CT aristocrat has a very prim and proper look and Vince calls him “most unusual”. As Vince and King break down Bret Hart snapping moments ago, Helmsley picks apart Chrystal with precision, angering the crowd along the way. Lawler plugs Mortal Sins, a USA Pictures Original, this Wednesday night. Get those VCRs set! We get some discussion around Bob Backlund’s presidential aspirations as Helmsley makes easy work of Chrystal and then pins him after a nice cutter drop type move. A strong start for the American Blueblood here on Raw. Grade: DUD
*** We visit Bob Backlund in his campaign offices and he talks about his various viewpoints for his presidential platform. We then head to Orlando where Stephanie Wiand welcomes the Pomposelli family to their new house. The Bushwhackers were also on hand for this momentous occasion. ***
3) Allied Powers defeat Tony DeVito & Bill Payne when Smith pinned Payne with the powerslam at 2:56
Scott: Jerry & Vince are still chirping about what happened with Bret Hart while Lex Luger & British Bulldog come out for a squash match. The Powers fought Men on a Mission on yesterday’s Action Zone and Bulldog got Mabel up on his shoulders. That’s actually very impressive. This was an effective squash and continues the rise of this tag team up the ladder and a possible title shot with Yokozuna & Owen Hart down the line. Grade: DUD
JT: Back to the ring as the Allied Powers are headed out for tag team action, accompanied to the ring by a pair of young flag bearers. Vince says Backlund hasn’t officially decided to run for President yet, but is still considering a campaign. As Davey Boy and Tony DeVito open things up, we head back to yesterday’s Action Zone where the Bulldog showed off his great power by dead lifting Mabel on his shoulders. Vince presses King on giving the Hitman that rematch as the Powers use their power to dominate the action. Bulldog eventually polishes off Payne with a powerslam as the Powers continue to build some momentum. This was a pretty good idea to pair these guys up as they clearly were a bit aimless (especially Luger) on their own and the tag division needed another top team in the mix to help bolster the roster. Grade: DUD
4) Kama defeats Barry Horowitz via submission with a half Boston crab at 2:21
Scott: This Lawler/Hart situation is pretty much dominating the show, as they go back to the ring for some of these squashes but Jerry keeps alluding to the fact that Bret told him he can pick any stipulation of the match. They do focus on Kama and the fact that the Undertaker’s urn is now around his neck. Grade: DUD
JT: We go right back to ringside as Kama and Ted DiBiase are in the ring, melted urn chain in hand, to battle the ageless Barry Horowitz. Vince continues to needle the King over the Bret Hart fiasco as Kama toys with Barry, swatting off a flurry before pounding the longtime hard luck wrestler. Vince reminds us that Horowitz is yet to win a match on Raw. King is now entertaining the rematch idea and says he needs to come up with a stipulation that would really humiliate the Hitman. Kama grabs the easy win. Grade: DUD
*** Todd Pettengill tells us that the Hall of Fame dinner and induction ceremony will go down the night before King of the Ring in Philadelphia and tickets are available now. He reveals the first inductee for this year’s class: Antonino Rocca. Back ringside, Barry Didinsky is with us to promote the newest Shawn Michaels t-shirt in advance of his big return. One size fits all and it’s only $20! He also lets us know the Monday Night Raw t-shirt is available today as well. ***
5) Shawn Michaels defeats King Kong Bundy in a King of the Ring Qualifying Match with the superkick at 8:00
Fun Fact: The last time we saw Shawn Michaels was on the 4/3/95 Raw where he was attacked by Sid. Michaels sustained a legit back injury from the attack and was out of action for the past six weeks, preventing him from getting his rematch with Diesel at the next In Your House. Michaels returns tonight as a babyface after the attack and time off.
Scott: The Heartbreak Kid makes his triumphant return after the trifecta of powerbombs that Sid gave him the night after WrestleMania and looks to get into the June 25 tournament in Philadelphia. Bundy tries to pearl harbor Shawn before the match but Michaels ducks the attack and jumps out fast. Bundy takes control and roughs Shawn up outside before really working him with a bear hug, then into a simple headlock. Before the match Todd Pettingill announces the 1995 WWF Hall of Fame banquet will be the night before KOTR in Philadelphia and tickets are on sale. The first inductee is Antonino Rocca, the barefoot superstar of the 50-70s. Meanwhile Shawn recovers and, with Bigelow and Diesel looking on backstage, Shawn hits the superkick and gets into the tournament. After the match Bigelow and Diesel come out and, with a minute of hesitation, the DUDES WITH ATTITUDES reunite. It was a decent match for Shawn and not much ring rust. Grade: **
JT: It is officially main event time and we are set to find out who the fourth KOTR qualifier is going to be by the end of this bout. King Kong Bundy ambles out to the ring, accompanied by Ted DiBiase and he settles into the corner to await his opponent, Shawn Michaels. And once the Heartbreak Kid does emerge, the crowd is fired up to see him back in action. Long gone is the hated Shawn Michaels as it looks like the Heartbreak Kid is going to be embraced by the WWF fans going forward thanks to the brutal attack he suffered at the hands of Psycho Sid. Bundy tries to jump Michaels as he disrobes but Shawn dodges him and pitches him hard to the floor and finishes his stripping as we take a break. When we return, Michaels slides outside and messes with DiBiase and then heads up top and flies into Bundy with a high cross body to the floor. Vince and King debate if Shawn’s back is healed as he plays some mind games with the big man. He continues to keep Bundy off balance, rattling him with right hands and dodging him with his speed. Bundy finally turned the tide and was able to shoot Michaels hard to the corner, sending him flying up and over the top rope and to the floor. Bundy followed out and slammed Michaels hard on the floor and then continued to use his size and power to punish the rehabbed back inside the ring as well. Vince wonders where Sid and the rest of the Corporation is tonight but King thinks DiBiase is that confident in Bundy. As Bundy continued to punish Michaels, we popped backstage to see Diesel and Bam Bam Bigelow watching the match and chatting strategy. After a break, Michaels had retaken control and hit a moonsault off the top rope before pelting the big man with a superkick to win and advance to the KOTR tournament. After the match, Diesel and Bigelow came out and after some initial hesitation, they Michaels gave Diesel the old leaping high five to officially seal their reunion. It looks like we have a new trio of faces driving the WWF car for the summer here. It was great to see Michaels back on Raw and he brings some unique energy and a dash of comedy to his matches as a face here. He was flying around the ring and looked smooth and fantastic in there. Bundy did his part well enough and it led to a brisk bout. Onto to Philly for Shawn Michaels! Grade: *1/2
Final Analysis
Scott: These jobber squashes are brutal, and taking up way too much time on these shows. The announcing is focussing completely on the continuation of the Lawler/Hart feud while Shawn Michaels finally returns and ups the workrate ante thankfully. We do get a debut as the Greenwich Blueblood wins his first Raw match and we see the Allied Powers try to recover from that WrestleMania trash match. Shawn Michaels is in the KOTR tournament, which to me means he’s the favorite and a win there would get his babyface turn on a real track. The Hart/Lawler stuff dominated the commentary because the in-ring stuff is the usual squash junk. Final Grade: C+
JT: For a taped show we actually had some good energy and a lot of stuff gong on throughout this one. From the debut of Hunter Hearst-Helmsley to the fantastic Bret Hart attack on Jerry Lawler to the red hot return of Shawn Michaels, this was a pretty packed episode. King of the Ring is taking shape as it looks like the Hitman and King will likely tussle in some sort of gimmick match while Diesel and Bigelow will battle the Corporation. And of course, half of the tournament entrants have been locked in now as well. After a bit of a lull after WrestleMania, the last few weeks have picked back up a bit. We will see if they can carry that momentum into Philadelphia. Final Grade: B-
