A/N: I always wanted to do some of these, this is sort of the 1.5 chapter from my fic, Electra Heart. You can still read without it but the idea is that your a 'secret' popstar to your now partner Johnny. This is you out of costume and set post game epilogue.

Chapter 17: Man the Cannons, Draw Your Sword

Nitara injected the blood straight into her pale veins. Once half the substance was inside her, she removed the needle and drank the rest of the vial.

Relief washed over her in waves that crashed against her heart in most painful but welcoming blows. She tilted her head back, her muscles loosening, her skull no longer throbbing like it was going to explode at any moment. Colour, the little she had, returned to her skin, and her veins glowed and pulsed with the joy of being alive. Until now, she hadn’t realised how close the Abyss had been breathing on her neck—Dionic was right, she had waited too long. She had been so sure, though. So sure she would have found and broke the curse by now.

Her vision, too, was no longer blurred, though she often wished it still were. It would not hide the horrors below, but she would at least be able to pretend they were not as ghastly as they were.

Summary: Continuation of Hunger:

Needing time to heal, the reader seeks refuge with Havik, who opens their eyes and shows them that they don't need to work and please their realm of Vaeternus and express certain feelings...

There was no way I could return home in my condition, and given the tasks I was assigned, seeing my wings clipped would be a sign of failure.

I had not failed but needed downtime, so I sought refuge with Havik, the only person who hadn't betrayed me, the only person I had faith in.

Seeing Seido after the torrent Rain produced was a bit of an overwhelming sight, but I knew Havik had plans to make it a beautiful place again without the government's ill ways.

He also made it apparent that without my wings, I could blend in across all realms without people realizing that I was Vaeterian, and given my combat skills, it'd make it easier to feed.

It was a lot to process, staring from a lookout in Havik's new home, my hand helplessly tracing the part of my back where my wings once were.

"Is your wound still bothering you?"

Glancing back to find Havik approaching me, it felt as if it were the first time I had shown emotion to someone, my voice lowly explaining:

"No, I just feel so odd without them. I don't understand why the realms hate me because I was born this way. It makes me sick."

My voice nearly cracked as the thoughts filled my heart with pain and anger, but I fixed my attention on Havik as he passed me, going to the edge of the lookout.

"These realms have wronged us both. Do you see what Seido is now?"

"Y-Yes," I acknowledged, staring off into the destroyed realm, thinking hard about his following words:

"Last time we spoke, you mentioned that the last time you visited Vaeternus, they weren't so kind to you either, after everything you've done to help them, isn't that right?"

"Yes," I sighed as the thought filled my heart with more pain, "I'm afraid to go back. When they see that my wings are gone-"

"You don't have to go back if you don't want to."

Looking up quickly, his back was still facing me, but I could feel his attention on me, continuing:

"First, Nitara gave up on you, now your realm. It reminds me of what I've gone through, makes me want to destroy it."

His fist clenched at his side, and I'd never felt my heart race so fast. He was right about how my realm gave up on me, and despite the fondness it had in my heart, I could survive on my own, and for some reason, Vaeternus's destruction was appealing to me.

"Just know," Finally facing me, staring deep into my eyes, this wasn't some deal or exchange; he truly meant, "You are welcome here."

I didn't know what was taking over me that made me run and hug him. I started sniffling all of a sudden. Was I crying?

For someone everyone thought was a madman, he was the only person in my long, miserable life who showed me any kindness, showing my appreciation by kissing his scarred cheek and whispering with a smile:

"I have a feeling that I will like it here."

That smile of mine didn't last long as he just stared at me, my whisper dying more out of nervousness:

"Did I do something wrong?"

"You kissed my cheek-"Holding where I kissed, I understood why he was taken aback; taking his hand, I began to profess to him:

"I'd be a liar if I said that I didn't think of you in a certain way, Havik. I look at people for who they are inside, not the outside."

I knew many people would always call him horrible things because of his face now, but that didn't matter to me in the slightest; he still had his handsomeness, showing him that as I kissed where his lips would be, smiling up into his eyes:

"Even now, you still make my blood rush after all that's changed."

Quickly, an arm latched around my waist, the other around my torso, keeping me in a tight hug, nuzzling against my neck as I did to his, leaving a kiss where I bit him, gazing at him as I felt his fingertips tracing my wound, reassuring:

"You're sure this wound isn't bothering you?"

"I'm sure," I nodded, "Why do you ask?"

"Because," After a deep breath, he took me by the cheek, done fighting temptations, wanting to feel my lips against him again, "I want you."

The way our hands were moving showed that we were touch-starved for one another, his tongue clashing with mine naturally making my fangs sharpen, his chuckle from it resulting in my whisper as I traced his skin with them:

"Ever since I tasted you, I've been dying to get my hands on you."

"If you want another taste, be my guest, but first-"Only needing an arm to carry me off my feet, we plopped onto his bed for our hands to start tearing at everything covering our skin.

"I'll try not to break you in two," He teased as he felt all over me, every bump and curve, sitting up between my legs with his cock twitching with anticipation.

"You and I both know I'm not that fragile," I giggled, sitting up and kissing the scars from when he was enslaved, letting him know yet again that what people saw as a flaw in his appearance, I saw as the stories behind it, and how it made him who I was falling for, but also keeping our fiery mood, pulling him down to me with my fangs by his neck, teasing back, "You'll have to watch to make sure I don't suck you dry. "You just taste so good," My inner ravenousness couldn't tolerate it anymore, so I gladly accepted the invitation, snatching a handful of his hair and sinking my fangs into his neck.

"You like that?" I had to get at least one more tease in, sucking harder, pulling his hair, and my free hand scratching at his back.

"F-Fu-" He must've truly enjoyed the pain as I drank him, managing to show me even more brutality as he pushed my legs up by the thighs as far as they could, our bodies and bed shaking so hard from his ruthless pounding that I was afraid that I'd tear his neck, but he was smiling and humming, "Yeah, ngh-grr-"

After so much, my head was swirling, and I could barely focus on feeding like this, blood dripping between us as my jaw fell, drooling out throat rippling screams:

Even before the new Regime of Queen Valentina took it to its worst extremes, Vaetenus’ government always had many problems. While it forbade consuming blood from other intelligent beings, considered an act of cruelty which could only bring conflict to the realm from long ago, there was little to no praise most people outside of its fanatics would give beyond that. Many actually pointed out it had quite a few similarities to the Edenian Regime. 

Few limitations for the authority of its enforcers, with the ruler’s authority in particular being barely limited by some of the most important members of the Coven. A fanatical persecution against any citizen even suspected of not being completely loyal to the government, deeming any kind of questioning as betrayal. Each individual’s worth had to be proven through constant contributions, with great punishments being inflicted if someone was considered ‘useless’, such as banishment if any citizen couldn’t find a job at a certain age. These were only some of the problems Vaeternus’ citizens faced, which led to many to move to other realms despite the difficulties it carried. Carmilla was a little child when her parents decided to do precisely that, wanting her to grow up in a better world.

Her family moved to a peaceful Outworld village they knew, where they were certain they could have a good future. Despite the difficulties they had to face to adjust to a new world, the Vampire family ultimately manage to do so thanks to the assistance of their neighbours, who were extremely welcoming to them. Carmilla in particular grew to appreciate it as her new home.

Unfortunately, the presence of a family of Vampires in the village reached the ears of extremist groups of Outworlders who despised the presence of outsiders in their realm. Said groups organized an attack, burning Carmilla’s house, which caused her parents’ death while the little child was barely able to escape with her life, too shocked by the sudden events to even realize she had to run away from there. The group of extremists were ready to kill the little child too, but they were thankfully stopped by an inhabitant of the same village who arrived just in time to save Carmilla. A then young Reiko managed to defeat the attackers swiftly, taking them to justice. And he did not stop at doing that, not when a devastated now orphan needed his help.

Reiko decided to take in Carmilla, becoming her new tutor and mentor. It had been initially a difficult task, since Reiko was still inexperienced himself, but with his family and other compassive citizens of the village also helping in comforting Carmilla, it finally worked. While Carmilla may still retain some of the pain of losing her parents at such a young age, she has also grown to become an adult able to live a healthy happy life despite that. She is eternally grateful towards Reiko for the help he gave her, even considering an older brother she has looked up to.

It was inspired by Reiko that Carmilla also became a soldier despite always having a chance to live a peaceful life if she wishes. She just saw it as the best way to help her new realm, especially against the constant attacks of the Edenian Regime in their ‘pacification’. Her abilities for combat and strategy eventually earned her a place in the Kahn Guard as one of its Commanders, to Reiko’s pride. She makes part of one of the main groups of defenders of Outworld as such.

And she is not only currently defending Outworld, but also seeking to change her home realm for the better, since she has also supported Nitara’s revolution even more than her other allies. It gives her a chance to help her old home while protecting her current one, after all, and you can be sure she won’t miss it.

But spectrum doesn't know to Trust anyone. Spectrum thought that Quan Chi can teach him to use magic as a apprentice, but instead, Quan Chi use Spectrum to do what Quan Chi Demands. Spectrum doesn't know any better. One Night, before Quan Chi starting creating Ermac, he demands Spectrum to steal The bloom telesman from the village. Before Spectrum almost steal The bloom telesman. There is mysteries Sorcerer came by and warn Spectrum not to touch the bloom telesman. His name is Shimmer, shimmer told Spectrum what he come from. Spectrum told Shimmer that he works for Quan Chi, but he has no one else to trust. Shimmer explain to him about not trusting Quan Chi. Spectrum didn't know about not trusting him. Luckly, Shimmer has a good heart, Shimmer is pretty empathy for Spectrum. But Spectrum Blames himself for trusting Quan Chi, even he doesn't know. Spectrum has finally realized about but not trusting Quan Chi. Spectrum also having a hard time trusting anyone. Luckly Shimmer can teach him and he's more then Welcome to join him to, to teach him not only how to use magic. But learning how to be trust a ally and fight for peace. Spectrum is now finally in the right place.

But after Mantro destroyed the village in the living Forest and killed Master Leo. Shimmer is devastated, Spectrum Empathize Shimmer to show Shimmer that Spectrum has good Heart.

Eventually Spectrum and Shimmer also ad Alastor and his Brother Splinter to join as a team to find a wind of champions Fujin, so he can Join us.

Running after my World Warrior (Street Fighter) tournament is none other than the gore-y, surreal, awesome Mortal Kombat tournament! We will be pitting all of the characters that made a playable appearance in Mortal Kombat (sorry Kronika) in a bracket of 64. From Scorpion to Sub-Zero, Kitana to Mileena, Liu Kang to Shang Tsung and more!

This will be single elimination as usual.

Also some things to note:

Guest characters will have their own mini tournament! I don't know when but probably within the later rounds.

I know some characters have two different identities, most prominently the changes of Mortal Kombat 1. Hence I will be listing characters such as Scorpion and Sub-Zero under their real names. So if you like Kuai Liang either as Sub-Zero or Scorpion, vote for his name as it will represent the character in the series as a whole. Same goes to Hanzo (The original Scorpion) and Bi-Han (Sub-Zero and Noob).

I know there is a few more characters in MK than 64, so preliminaries are out now!
