and then you see she’s red in the face so you just avoid eye contact altogether and take a long swallow of your drink because this is about to be some bs.

“so who’s your new friend?” she’ll ask, eyeing her up and down like she’s an unwanted guest. you just shrug and say “she’s not my friend, we’re dating.” then all hell breaks loose now she’s telling the girl to get up and fight her? and your poor date just runs away because what kind of ex drama is THIS?! then you both get kicked out of the bar to cool off.
