i was making my masterlist in the req blog and halfway through linking the stuff i was like, huh i wonder why i hated making masterlists in my past req blogs it's not even that hard? just copy paste link and you're good to go lol past me was so dramatic

then i tested the links on both mobile and pc and.... 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ AH.... I REMEMBER NOW..... this is such a pain in the ass LOL

#so like #depending on what platform you're on and the format of the tumblr link you embedded #there are diff possibilities #one: the link on pc directs you to the right post AND your customized tumblr theme ✅️#BUT when you press on the link on mobile app it ALSO goes to the customized tumblr theme which the app doesn't support #so when you tap on the link you're forced out of the app and then into chrome IT'S SO ANNOYING🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️❌️❌️❌️❌️#two: another link format works perfectly on mobile #it remains in the mobile app 🙆‍♀️✅️#BUT!!!! if you click on the same link ON PC #it directs you to the post yes BUT it doesnt go to your blog theme it's so infuriating!!!! it just shows as a pop up ❌️❌️#three: the perfect middle ground your link is gonna work on both pc and mobile app perfectly!!!#im so MAD this isnt my first rodeo why do i keep forgetting ab this LMAO #ANW SO LIKE #whenever i see masterlists that clearly have diff link formats #im like ah you too... fellow comrade... you also fell victim to the glorioushitty link formatting....
