today I am feeling intense gratitude towards my patreon patrons whose support has allowed me to buy materials for a truly unhinged mixed-media writing project
#being honest it's the first time I've felt really excited about writing since last summer#I experienced what was in retrospect extremely severe burnout last fall#probably prompted by trying to push through the aftereffects of covid to finish posting AITNISTS on time#while simultaneously working on several work deadines#I don't think I understood what I was doing to myself at the time but now that I have a little distance I get it now#I couldn't even look at my writing projects without getting wildly stressed for a few months#but I'll admit it's coming back to me now#so it's time to finally finish editing AITNISTS for purchase and then start work on two other projects#one will be a really long-term one and one will be shorter#but I feel excited and creative again and that's really nice#so today while the weather is nice I'm gonna hit some thrift stores and see if I can't find some weird shit
