LE091 Zoltan Fecso Butterfly Hands 8.12.2021

Zoltan Fecso is a musician and composer based in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia. His interdisciplinary approach to sound explores the experiences of active listening. Zoltan's first major body of work centred on repeating single notes of various lengths to form ever-changing tonal permutations. These ‘Pointilist’ compositions were inspired by the post-impressionist painting movement of the same name. His first album in this style was released on Hush Hush Records (USA) and subsequent albums appeared on Shimmering Moods (NL), The Slow Music Movement (PT) and Whitelab Recs (UK). Zoltan’s body of work also includes sound installations, sculptures, ensembles, radiophonic works and podcasts.

Artist notes: Butterfly Hands is a piece for solo prepared piano. Although I’ve released a lot of guitar-based music over the last two years, piano was my primary instrument from a young age and is very dear to me. The piano in this recording is my childhood upright, which now lives happily in my home studio. When I started experimenting with prepared piano in mid-2020, I found a string of bells, which I arranged between the hammers and strings of the piano. The result brought out a gestural, textured playing style inspired by the shimmering intensity of 1970’s era spiritual jazz records by Alice Coltrane and Pharaoh Sanders. The hands are in constant motion throughout this piece, even during sparse moments, to lightly shake the bells or create soft impacts on the piano strings – hence the title Butterfly Hands.

A big realisation during the recording of this piece was the frame of mind I needed to be in, in order to perform it. I found myself losing concentration or overthinking/overplaying parts in early takes. Fatigue was another thing. If I wasn’t present in playing, my hands would cramp and get really sore. It was only when I approached the piece with clarity, presence and openness that I could play it in its entirety. I realised that I had trouble being present while performing, even though so much of my practice is informed by that very idea. I reflected on how I had felt when playing live in the past, on the inner voice that would tell me to ‘move things along’ or ‘make this more interesting’.

So much joy, fascination and connection comes from listening attentively to the world. In the writing and performing of this piece, I noticed a habitual disconnect from that state of listening, which I had to address.

Acara Dihentikan Karena Over Capacity, Sikap Penggemar EXO Patut Diacungi Jempol!!!

Oh Sehun, anggota boy grup asal Korea Selatan pada tanggal 6 November 2022 mengunjungi Indonesia sebagai Brand Ambassador produk kecantikan yaitu Whitelab.  Acara ini mengundang antusias para penggemar EXO di berbagai negara karena kerinduan penggemar setelah boy grup tersebut menyatakan hiatus. Penggemar Indonesia pun merasa bersyukur dan berterimakasih atas kebaikan Whitelab yang mengundang Oh Sehun ke Indonesia. dewa poker

Ketika Whitelab mengumumkan Acara yang dinamakan One Memorable Day with Scientist Ganteng, Penggemar antusias untuk membeli tiket. Namun, Whitelab memberikan kebijakan bahwa tiket tidak dapat dibeli melainkan diundi menggunakan nomor resi pembelajaan produk. Hal ini, membuat para penggemar berbondong-bondong membeli produk Whitelab dan mengharapkan keberuntungan mereka. Kebijakan tersebut membuat sebagian penggemar kecewa karena mereka merasa pesimis jika tidak mendapatkan tiket.

Kemudian pihak whitelab mengumumkan tempat berlangsungnya acara yaitu di Central Park Mall yang berada di Jakarta Barat. Ketika diumumkan penggemar pun tidak menyangka bahwa Whitelab akan melaksanakan acara tersebut di dalam mall. Hal ini membuat sebagian besar penggemar merasa khawatir dan memberikan saran agar Whitelab bisa mempertimbangkan untuk pindah ke venue yang memiliki kapasitas yang sesuai.

Namun, pihak Whitelab menyatakan bahwa mereka sengaja melaksanakan di mall agar para penggemar yang tidak kedapatan tiket tetap bisa melihat Oh Sehun. Tetapi hal itu tidak membuat penggemar merasa senang, justru penggemar tetap kekeh menyarankan Whitelab pindah ke venue, dan penggemar juga mengatakan tidak masalah jika harus membeli tiket asalkan acara tersebut tidak dilaksanakan di mall. Tetapi pihak Whitelab memutuskan acara tetap berlangsung di mall.rtp dewapoker

Pada hari pelaksanaan, acara dimulai tepat di jam 14:00 WIB dan sebelum mall dibuka pun penggemar Oh Sehun sudah mengantri dengan tertib, hingga semakin siang ternyata semakin banyak penggemar yang datang dan tercatat pada aplikasi Peduli Lindungi terdapat lebih dari 1o ribu penggemar berada di dalam mall pada jam 11:26 WIB.

Kondisi di dalam mall pun sangat penuh namun tetap kondusif, hal ini dikarenakan para penggemar yang saling mengingati untuk tidak ricuh dan mengikuti arahan dari panitia. Penggemar memenuhi setiap lantai mall bahkan hingga belakang panggung pun penggemar tetap tertib dan tidak berbuat kericuhan. Selain itu, Penggemar yang berada di lantai atas pun saling mengingatkan agar tidak saling mendorong karena mereka khawatir pembatas akan pecah atau jatuh.

Saat acara berlangsung tercatat lebih dari 20.000 penggemar memenuhi mall. Saat itu acara tetap berjalan dengan kondusif hingga 10 menit berlangsung dan tiba-tiba pihak Whitelab mengumumkan bahwa acara telah selesai karena kelebihan kapasitas yang membuat mereka khawatir terjadi sesuatu yang tidak diinginkan. Hal ini, membuat penggemar kecewa karena rasa rindu mereka belum terobati sepenuhnya.

Penggemar pun merasa pihak Whitelab mengabaikan saran mereka sebelumnya dan merasa kekuatan mereka diremehkan. Bagi penggemar acara yang seharusnya memiliki memori yang indah justru sebaliknya. Namun, Oh Sehun terlihat sangat senang akan antusias penggemarnya hingga memotret para penggemar yang hadir dengan ponselnya sendiri dan mengatakan akan kembali ke Indonesia bersama anggota EXO sebagai ganti dari acara yang berlangsung tidak lancar itu. Hal ini membuat, ketidaksenangan penggemar terhadap pihak Whitelab mereda, akan tetapi tetap membekas rasa kecewa di hati penggemar.rtp live slot

Penggemar pun pulang dengan rasa sedih dan senang sekaligus karena janji yang diucapkan oleh Oh Sehun. Dan ketika pulang pun penggemar tetap tertib untuk keluar mall dan tertib dalam mengantri untuk transportasi umum. Sikap ini patut diacungin jempol, karena walaupun kecewa penggemar tetap tidak berbuat kericuhan.

I’ve learned to love a fresh start. There once was a time when I was on team #weekends but I have learned to leave those days behind because I love the feeling of progress! ⁣

Those days were hurting my health, not helping it 🙅as I would get anxious waiting for that Monday alarm clock to ring.⁣

Now, I’ve learned to love MONDAYS. I start the day checking into my coaching network for a weekly announcement and training call, I check in with all of my clients 1-on-1, get an AWESOME workout in, and also get to cuddle with some cute dogs. Yeah, I may wake up a bit earlier than the weekend, but it’s 1000% worth it at the end of the day.⁣
