hiya, team! berry 🍓 [she/her] here with resident cryptid, miss tomoe! it's been quite a while since i've been in a group setting creatively. please bear with me as i try to get back into the groove of things. there's nothing i want more than to commence tomoe terrorizing everyone's muses, sooo please like if you're interested in plotting [i promise she's a lot more fun to write against than how i'm about to present her below] and i will set up shop in your pms! ♥︎

NISHINOYA TOMOE [西谷知映]. october 31st, 2004 / twenty. from tokyo originally, but her dad's prison sentence had her scrambling to attend yeonhwa quickly out of pure shame. scorpio sun, leo moon, libra rising. neurotic, argumentative, antithetical dream girl, one unfortunate circumstance away from becoming the female joker. usually seen @ the complex spending all of her coins at the gachapon machines and kicking them when she doesn't get the one she wants. part of dragon daily [managaing editor], chess, paranormal, and ophiuchus [rabbit zodiac]. also: a kalista main on league, so you know she's absolutely miserable.

the nishinoya family were quite the mouth-piece when it came to tokyo’s elites; her father was high-ranking politician for most of her life, until he got swept up in a voter fraud scandal that made national headlines. the investigation was a full-blown spectacle and it completely tanked her chances at utokyo or waseda. :/ she thought she was lucky yeonhwa let her in based on pure merit and not reputation. [who’s gonna tell her she’s still a nepotism pick…?]

she’s always been a grumpy girl, so you can imagine she did not take father dearest’s downfall lightly. she’s still deep in the throes of parental issues, especially with her mother.... who is now serving real housewives of tokyo messiness [young trophy wife, serial cheater, incapable of staying away from pool boys and vaguely european bartenders].

she spent the majority of her freshman year crafting a reputation as a hard-ass. doesn’t exactly go out of her way to make friends, but she’s not unbearable either. she’s witty, sharp when she wants to be, and could probably start an argument in an empty room. i'm not exactly saying she's susceptible to rage-bait, buuuut...

her day-to-day is schoolwork, minor league break to let off steam (an oxymoron if you ask me), and skulking around campus like bloody mary. you’ll usually find her holed up in her favorite library study room or hunched over her desk in the newsroom, tearing into someone’s earnest op-ed about why the campus kitchen should switch to veggie oil instead of canola for fried chicken friday.

her only real reprieve is literature. she’s painfully prone to escapism—fiction is the one place where she isn’t anyone’s daughter, isn’t a disgraced politician’s kid, and doesn’t have to argue to be taken seriously. it’s the one world she can disappear into without anyone trying to drag her out. she loves language, hence why she's a polyglot. her korean could still be refined, though.

thinks she was written by virginia woolf just a teeniest bit. some of her favorite quotes by her are:

loves being in the paranormal club because she's a bit of a freak-show... loves anything occult and macabre. collects oddities like cursed lamps, loose human teeth, butterflies encased in resin, tentacle monster figurines, anything that might move on its own when you leave the room. a horror buff, 100% celebrates summerween!!! junji ito fangirl #1.

being in the chess club was primarily so she could socialize without really having to talk to anyone... :T the rules are also the same in every country!

she's still a bit confused as to why she got invited to ophiuchus, unsure if she really cares for the exclusivity... and why do they have robes and candles at every meeting?

chronic shit-poster, all of her sns is her taking the piss.

her diet could kill a small victorian child, she's more red 40 dye than human at this point. she doesn't play about chamoy pickles.

you WILL smell [tacks on perfume like that one clip of spongebob and patrick in macy's] and HEAR her [she actively only wears platformed maryjanes or demonias] before you see her.

weirdly gives really good and sound advice despite being off her rocker.

likes karaoke and can sing decently well, still prefers j-rock and j-pop over anything else, though.

sometimes ends up bringing her baby brother to campus with her when her mom decides she needs a break from motherhood.

while i do have some plots up on her blog, i am always open to brainstorming and figuring out our muses synergy together! :3 some random ideas are: frenemies, verbal sparing partners, hateships, you listen to her yap about how the rapture is coming over coffee, her laptop sounds like it's about to take off in the quiet section of the library and you can't help, but laugh, you drag her out to a party, sacrifice yourself as her cosplay mannequin, and anything under the sun! happy writing, everyone!!!

Okay so I read your entire fic in three days and I LOVE IT!? ITS SO GOOD!?! I am supposed to be studying for finals and instead have spent 72 hours definitely not doing that. I originally got into your fic because I saw your drawings from different scenes and OH MY GOD THEYRE AMAZING. omg anon this is diabolical...at first i was imagining it as seb being the one caught in the time loop and going crazy, but i actually think its better if its clora... because the idea of seb watching her slowly spiral into semi-insanity while knowing its bc of some weird time shenanigans and he doesnt know how to help would also make SEB go crazy BAHAHAH. i dont think ill ever write this but i just wanted to tell u i love this idea LOL
